18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 3 phenotypes out of 5 Mango Crunches. 2 plants have pronounced sativa genetics. 2 plants are rather hybrid. 1 plant is mostly indica. All buds have a pleasant fruity smell. MC # 1 - 76cm - small plant, mostly indica, dense buds with many trichomes MC # 2 - 115cm - just the opposite of # 1 sativa type, very large plant with few leaves and very thin buds, curious how this plant will develop further MC # 3 - 106cm - just like # 2 sativa phenotype MC # 6 - 90cm - beautiful plant, few leaves with many beautiful thick white flowers. Hybrid type. MC # 7 - 92cm - also a beautiful plant, hybrid type like # 6 but with a slightly lesser bud production

Week 7 let's go ! Day 152 - 04/11 : The plant symptoms have seemed to slow down. The soil is also starting to dry out a bit more which might have been a problem. Day 155 - 07/11 : She was flushed in the morning with about 4L of water and 2L of a 30% strength microbial+trichoderma tea to innocculate the soil in case the microlife took a hit. The run off was 1L. I also switched the 400W MH for a 400W HPS to finish off with a little extra boost of light + different spectrum and see if it makes any differences. The light were moved up by approximately 20-30cm. They are now at about 70cm from the plant. I wondered if the light were maybe too close and caused all those strange symptoms. Let's see if there is any change in their behaviour. Day 156 - 08/11 : It seems the plant is a lot happier. It has only been a day but I feel like she is fattening up faster suddenly. Or it could be that she has recovered from the slight chock from a few days ago. Day 158 - 10/11 : Yep she is definitely happy again. I am convinced it was the light or at least it was part of the problem, I am seeing a lot of growth all of a sudden, on all plants and not just this one. Trichome are up, pistilles are up, calyxes swelling, everything is running smooth again. She is looking ready already, from a bud general appearance I could almost harvest now, but the trichomes are still mostly clear and I have a feeling she has a little more in her. I suspect the reason for such large amount of already brown trichomes might have been the light excess they went through.

Hi Growmies~! What This Post is About Today, I'll be recording how to cultivate soil microbes at home. These microbes offer numerous benefits, and they are simple to make. How I Came Up with This Technique Since 2014, I’ve tried synthetic growing methods like DWC. While they gave quick results, I often ran into issues with consistency. Nutrients would expire during breaks, meaning I had to keep buying new bottles. I strongly felt I needed a change. A couple of years ago, after taking a break, I started to research and switched to organic growing. At first, it felt overwhelming with all the steps and prep work, but I saw real potential. After experimenting with different methods, I came across Korean Natural Farming (KNF) and JADAM, introduced by Mr. Cho. His simple, ultra low-cost techniques inspired me. They focus on letting nature do the work. While growing, I noticed that synthetic nutrient bottles were expensive, especially when trying to complete a full nutrient set. Organic growing may require more attention and can be costly when investing in organic materials. Preparing the soil in advance and top dressing with dry nutrients every other week - just these two methods were consuming space, time, and money. Indoor farming is unnatural, while organic farming is a natural approach. I had to bring these ideas together, but organic farming often seems geared toward large plots like farms. Incorporating organic techniques into my indoor garden requires a lot of effort and careful calculations. So this is one of my techniques for keeping my plants happy: supporting their daily needs helps them snap out of deficiencies quickly, allowing them to grow consistently. It took me a while to adapt this technique for indoor use. I hope this helps, guys! Supplies Needed - Potatoes: Provide nutrients and food for the microbes. - Sea Salt: Stimulates microbial activity and controls harmful organisms. - Dechlorinated Water: Allows the microbes to grow and multiply. - Compost, leaf mold, or worm castings: Contains natural microorganisms that are key for this process. How to Make (1 gallon) 1 cooked potato (about 2 golf ball-sized) 1 pinch of sea salt 2 tablespoons compost or worm castings 1 gallon dechlorinated water 1. Mix Ingredients: In a clean container, fill it with the dechlorinated water, dissolve the sea salt, and add the compost along with the mashed potato. 2. Ferment: Optionally cover the container and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours. 3. Strain (Optional): After fermentation, you can strain the solution if you prefer a clearer liquid. (Test a small batch first to find the best rate for your setup.) - Once the bubbles disappear, the microbes are likely inactive. You can either mix the rest with water as fertilizer or discard it. Improves Soil Health & Supports Composting - Quickly breaks down organic matter and nutrients. - Makes growing organically in small containers, like 1-gallon pots, easy. - Over time, soil becomes softer and richer, even in small pots. 04/07/2020 - 1st day of germination. All 4 have sank to bottom of glass. Now currently in paper towels in a warm dark area. 07/07/2020 - only 3 seeds germinated correctly . Planted, they have now sprouted and are looking good

Week 5 flower. This one just grows slow. Slowly filling in. Very frosty, but not a nice smell. Hopefully the flowers end up tight, hard, and smelling great. Lights are at 12-14” from canopy, and plants are taking it well. Blumat drip still working, and hand watering once a week with Gaia Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17. Not going to top dress anymore as these 30 gallon pots have lots to offer still and this plant is using nothing really. Thanks for views!

Week 5 started with low humidity and we placed an old humidifier inside the tent which it did increase the humidity lvls but we already have regret it as some leaves that came in contact with the hot vapor injected in the air got rotted. In week 4 one of the 3 Green gelato had popped a couple of white/green pistils but they passed mostly unnoticed. Now we are certain that this plan is in bloom stage. Really strange that it started to bloom in week 4 with 19 hours light . Autoflower strain put by mistake in the Green gelato package? Who knows.... We switched feeding to bloom on this plant ( 2ml biogrow/heaven/bloom and we added 1ml of Sensizym and Carboload)

Non eventful week apart from noticing possible potassium difficiency on my Blue Afghan and planet of the grapes started yellowing on the leaves.

It's time to harvest the crops, today was the day of the first Green Crack F1 Hybrid Automatic by Zamnesia. ** Remember that for all strains we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. Technique Used // In this case we see the plant worked with the MAINLINING technique: we waited for the third internode and did TOPPING (you can also do it at the second to lengthen the vegetative phase in autoflowering plants, it's better); from this topping a MAINFOLDING was carried out by cleaning everything that was underneath in the underlying internodes and leaving only the two mini branches growing as a result of the first topping, the Mainfold precisely. We stole the two branches with the arches up to the third internode of each respective branch and we did TOPPING once again, from here the plant was left to grow directing it with LST as best we could. Better with the techniques or normal? It is a plant with a medium-low distance between internodes, this technique is not recommended, the plant is not very big but it has produced well anyway, let's wait to compare the results with the one without techniques but it is very big, the other one, in this case I tend towards the straight solution. Look instead at the Ghost Train Haze for example which has a wide distance between internodes, what did it do to me... immense. Flower quality // The plant has resined very well anyway, there is a very mellow smell, I think sweet/strawberries, I have to go deeper, the consistency is exceptional, I washed the buds as recommended on Zamnesia, do not underestimate this practice, I who look at the plants in , acre give away a lot of hair and a lot of waste of other nature, washing makes your grass better and more competitive even for contests and cups. ******** Week 7 - January 20 to 26, 2020 (Days 43 to 49 from germination) She continuers to impress with her resilience as I have thrown a couple of curves at her.......but she continues to fatten and grow her buds😎 It was also not without learning though and thats what is so cool about growing this plant.......you always seem to leave a grow feeling like you could do even better next time and therefore challenging yourself to do better......and have dab while doing it😂 Not sure if I have a little different pheno but if I ran her again I would find a way to train her out wider. 5 gal pot diameter idea........maybe don’t fill with as much medium? Again, simply to keep light hitting all the lower sites. Where does the “XL” come into play as well I guess. Removed branches early on that were low. This grow, her narrow leaves have allowed a lot of light down below but it will be felt in a little less yield.....think the pH got a little high....or potassium excess......Terpinator too early? If left to a single cola she would be tall and have a huge cola I suspect......Gorilla Grow with the extension type of potential! She has loved the water feeds. Missed out bit by backing off of the CalMag a bit too much.....stems say deficiency that but leaves show toxicity? (Back to that you always feel you can do better thing😬) Got a little crazy with the PPM and saw tip burn in week 7. Gave a quick little flush with RO water and Sensyzime to clean up the roots of the salts. Didn’t get crazy though because it was just the top leaves burnt. Been building the medium up to this point so don’t want to wash it all away just yet. She didn’t claw down and over night appeared to still keep moving forward with bud growth. I did notice a small amount of hairs starting to turn red by weeks end......likely won’t be long before more are red and we go to flush👍 (Make it to end of week 8??) No rush though.......still lots of room to fatten up yet. In the week a head there will be the last push to get her medium in as good a shape as my skills will warrant. I want to get a good 10 + days of flush but her leaves are going to finish dark from what I can see. Run-off has been reasonable though so will keep fingers crossed 😄🤞 Little more detail.... Jan 20/20 - Day 43 - Drinking lots right now, close to 4L per day, so 2L plain water only in AM. 6.2pH,. - Feed in PM was light as well. Sensyzime @ 2ml and LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml only. 2L given with 75ppm. 5.9pH - She was given a good feeding yesterday. - Buds sites are stacking.......she is making me 😃 Jan 21/20 - Day 44 - AM - 3L with Dual Fual A&B @ 1.5ml/L. 725ppm and 5.9pH. - PM hit her again - full feeding minus Rhino Skin, Sensyzime and Vitrathrive and VeloKelp. 2.5L 1000ppm and 5.9pH. - Runoff - 1100ppm and 5.9pH. - top leaves were droopy so the extra feeding in the evening. Jan 22/20 - Day 45 - Backing off quantity a bit and down to 2L feed in PM. Her pot was still fairly heavy. - Mass & Terp @ 3ml, Rezin & LW8 & DF @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 0.5ml = 1300ppm - Very perky today....standing up all the way down the plant. Liked the feed yesterday. *******should have reduced this PPM feed......you want to push when you see potential😕 Jan 23/20 - Day 46 - Supplemental feeding only today. Happy so don't rock the boat :) - Sensyzime @ 2ml, LW8 & Rezin @ 1.5ml = 80ppm 6.1pH - 2L only today.....still some weight to the pot Jan 24/20 - Day 47 - Nute burn on Green Poison’s tips seen today. - Flushed through 7L of plain RO water pH to 5.95. - Runoff: 325ppm and 5.9pH. - Followed right away with 2L more water with Sensyzime @ 3ml/L - happy and praying in the evening......little surprising actually👊👌 Jan 25/20 - Day 48 - 2.5L of full strength feeding for this week. - ppm for that was 1275 so watered down to 1100ppm.....only need 1ml of base nutes at full strength to hit roughly 1,000ppm. - Runoff: 600ppm & 5.95pH - Swear her leaves are bigger, more mass today!! Still narrow and dark though. - she is 30” x 30” now Jan 26/20 - Day 49 - Feed was full strength one for the week, 1150ppm 6.1pH. - Removed some more leaves today. - guessing only another 1.5 weeks of feeding. No bug or disease problems. I even took her off veg nutes way too soon and she recovered like a fucking champ. I’m popping two more this week. Unfortunately i didn’t weigh it because Of some very unfortunate circumstances that I was dealing with at the time. I essentially had to vacate my premise within 24 hours. A few days after harvest. Anyways. I ended up smoking the whole thing with my friends and it was straight fire. The terps were crazy also. Super sweet. After curing she had a very sweet smell like bubblegum / grape. This was only my second harvest ever.
