Got a little hot outside this week again and temps in the tents reached a high of 92. They hovered around 85-88 most of the time, and nighttime temps around 75. The plants have been loving the tropical like environments, and in fact showing less signs of stress now they are in warmer temps. I got my magnesium dialed back in with a few applications of Epsom Salt. The pants drank twice as normal this week. I also gave them a feeding with my fermented fruit juice I made and they seem to be loving it. I got a new bottle of cal-mag and does not seem to be as acidic, so i can add a little more than I was without it ruining my ph. It too about 15ml per gallon of the FFJ to Ph my water down form 7.8 to 6.5. I tested it before use and its PH is around 2.5. Between the Epsom salt, FFJ, and kelp. The plants are really starting to bounce back from their slight unhappiness. They are all looking near 100 percent health. At the end of the week they are are raging and praying to the light like theirs no tomorrow. Glowing vibrant lush green, the buds are also already a decent size for only being week 2. The plants and in much need of some defoliation but I will wait one more week after stretch to get that taken care of. The dehumidifier running during night cycle has been keeping things in check. The clones rooted and I potted them up to 1 gallon so I now have small moms. I got new worms and my worm bins cleaned out and set up again. Each of the 65 gallon pots got a small ball of worms added to the top soil to get the worm populations growing in them again. I was hoping those casting I added a few weeks ago with added worm eggs would hatch some but no luck so i just got some from Uncle Jim's worm farm.

Turned today, got impatient to wait another 2 weeks 🤦🏻 Seen some discoloring heading to nutrient burn so ive corrected it all in this new top up (from today) Didnt take too much notice of the room this week, have removed one foam base from the bottom although i maybe should have left them a little closer to the light. Added CYCO Ryzofuel 0-0-0.2 Added Advanced Nute Rhinoskin 0-0-0.4 Does this literally have the same fuel?😂 Cyco runs for first 2 weeks of bloom Rhinoskin runs for 6 weeks. To add overdrive at 6 weeks to week 7 then flush week 8! Im guessing the overall BigBud is 6 to 8 weeks. I will stretch her to 8 weeks. Any tips from here onwards is appreciated 👌 Added a net but im hopeless and with big hands am prone at breaking main stems at this point once LST is applied so i might just leave it as it is until the knuckles form stronger and see how we go!

Sour Diesel Haze is looking beautiful!!! Getting closer to harvest, but still has a few weeks to go. She smells amazing!!! I'm looking forward to the smoke report on this girl - next month! 👍

Finally harvested this girl at days 68. She is heavy. After cutting the ties, this girl just fell over from the weight! Very minimal larf! Even the lower bud sites are nice! Can't wait to see what she weighs once dry! First DWC grow was an overall success!

Amazing told this run 110 grams of bud and 80 grams of shake. An amazing pungent fruity citrus cream cheese aroma eminates out of my cure vault. The high has been described by my friends as a creative uplifting high followed by intense couch lock. The grow itself was a breeze. The only real issues i had in the hydro grow was that i needed to to add cal mag because it was growing so fast and i was using distilled water. I basically did not train my plants other than defoliating to make space for air flow and light penetration. I would recommend this for any first time hydro grower that has a decent amount of space.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Cultivation was very easy in terms of vegetation and up to half of flowering, where I encountered difficulties and ended up postponing their harvest. drying Purple presented 220g wet and 39g dry. I can smell a fruity scent on it and I see a lot of resin. I'm happy with the result but I still want a 50g plant.

Hello nice people! This week number 6 went pretty good... Colas are building up and bringing out gorgeous colours as you can see in the pictures, purple mixed with pink and orange makes this plant the most beautiful I ever grown. The smell started very softly and it had a kind of pine arome, sublime. I've started giving her some Bloombastic and will keep doing so for the whole week. Stretching seems over and she kept a quite compact size, at 62 centimeters. That's all lads, I cannot wait to update the next weeks of this marvelous plant. Ah, I also just harvested and rated my other diary, come and have a look if you have done it yet! Stay tuned and stay high peeps!

Gary Payton has had a slow start but it is starting to stack really nicely. I think it will probably be the longest stack plant out of all the ones I’m growing. The plant already has the distinct Gary Payton smell All of the plants have really taken off. Usually I have a couple plants that are much smaller but all of these plants are getting huge. Seeing I got a new eluefah uap1500 the other day and I have my 2 fastbuds plants under that now I have my spider farmer light free. So I popped up another 2x2 and moved 3 of the 10 plants into the 2x2 and left the 7 other in the 2x4.

All the seedlings I kept continue to develop well, perfect 😊! I find the genetics of this strain very interesting. This is by far one of my largest autoflowers to date. Shes flowering hard now at week 5 and I'm super happy that I used LST on her. Without LST this lady would be about 5 feet tall without a doubt. I'm really happy with how she accepts the 24 hour lighting as other strains clearly don't like it as much. I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as I. Die Pflanze steht stabil, die Blütenstände verdichten sich zusehends und zeigen eine ordentliche Harzbesatzdichte. Das Gesamterscheinungsbild ist kräftig, auch wenn die Blattspitzen an einigen Stellen schon etwas gelblich bis braun werden, was bei dem Stadium und dem hohen EC-Wert kein Grund zur Panik ist. 📏 In dieser Woche gab es 2 Düngungen bei einer gesamten Gießmenge von 6 L, also im Schnitt 3 L pro Mal. Der pH-Wert lag im Schnitt bei 5.7, der EC-Wert bei 1.5 mS/cm. Der Abfluss hat sich bei einem pH von 6.7 und einem EC von 2.6 mS/cm eingependelt. Die Umgebungswerte waren stabil bei einer Temperatur von 27.76 °C, einer Wassertemperatur von 19.85 °C und 65 % Luftfeuchtigkeit. Der VPD liegt bei 1.32 kPa, bei einem CO2-Wert von 946 ppm und 18 Stunden Licht am Tag. 📋 Beim Dünger fahre ich das volle Advanced Nutrients Programm: Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra mit 0.6 ml/L, Connoisseur Bloom A und B mit 1.2 ml/L, Rhino Skin mit 1 ml/L, Tasty Terpenes mit 2 ml/L, Bud Candy mit 2 ml/L und Canna Cannazym mit 2 ml/L. Einziger Ausreißer im Schema: Ich habe das Overdrive auf 1.7 ml/L statt der vorgesehenen 1.5 ml/L leicht angehoben, um den Endspurt nochmal ein bisschen zu pushen. 📸 Auf den Bildern sieht man den aktuellen Zustand gut: Die Pflanze zeigt eine tiefgrüne Blattfarbe, die durch die beginnende Vergilbung an den Rändern und Spitzen kontrastiert wird. Die Blütenstruktur ist kompakt und die Trichombildung ist bereits weit fortgeschritten. Die Pflanze sieht gesund und vital aus, trotz der leichten Anzeichen von Nährstoffstress an den unteren Blättern. Die Buds sind jetzt richtig prall, jetzt heißt es, das Klima stabil zu halten und den Reifeprozess nicht zu stressen. In den nächsten Tagen werde ich genau beobachten, wie sie auf die leichte Erhöhung des Overdrives reagiert und die Farbe der Trichome im Auge behalten, um den idealen Erntezeitpunkt nicht zu verpassen.
