Here we are into the beginning of true flowering! Stacking has begun, flower development is coming along beautifully, both plants are loving the 900PPFD & 2.0EC feed without signs of stress. Co2 is being implemented this week & leaf tucking will continue. The Bride Cake has surprised me with its stretch during this last week or 2, Growing nearly an inch every other day. No real serious trichome development yet so only a faint smell when first opening the tent. Both plants are drinking quite a lot which I’m very happy to see.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering listed in the grow conditions are averaged for the week. The pH listed in the grow conditions is the soil pH. Nutrients listed in that section are ml/gallon of soil. I didn't include water in grow conditions as it rained almost all week. I watered one time and listed in the daily updates. Day 1 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 and 3 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 #3 plant succumbed to her injuries, R.I.P 😥 Day 4 we had rain showers I'm the morning and throughout the day. The plants roots appear to have found the ferrous sulfate I added last week 💚 Day 5 we had rain in the early morning, drizzle and afternoon showers. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 2ml/gallon of soil. as I've only got about 25 gallons of soil. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 6 we had intermittent rain, drizzle, and mist throughout the day. There's a bug haunting plant #1. I can't find it, so most likely a cricket or grasshopper. It's beed feeding on this plant since day 5. Stakeout for the kill has begun. Good news on day 6. The ferrous sulfate has brought the soil pH down to 6.3. There's still a small phosphorus excess but these girls will grow into it. Day 7 we had rain all morning into the afternoon. Pots are soaked. The insect, I suspect to be a cricket, remains a pest. It ate more of #1 plant on evening of day 5. Despite the adversity these girls are growing. Plants doubled in height this week and overall the week has been a success.

Update of the garden

Its been raining hard the start of this week, i assumed i killed all the mites last couple weeks from the seven concentrate, but i have to spray every 3 days or so when they mature, and the spray can kill them. Killing the eggs would be the best solution. I also started to spray with baking soda to combat the molds we get here in this humid environment.

Been researching more on compost teas and with about week before the flip to flower, think it’s time to brew up some compost tea! --- Using the TeaLab brewing rig to bubble and mix the stew! --- Going to attempt to brew a fungal dominant tea using a modified compost tea recipe from Dr. Elaine Ingham. --- Unlike most compost teas, her recipe lacks molasses and sugars which promotes a more fungal dominant brew instead of anaerobic bacterial microbes. --- Okay let's start brewing! --- Assembled and installed the TeaLab brewing rig into a 5-gallon bucket and secured the unit using a garden support wire. --- Have a few empty buckets under the main brew bucket for insulation. Not really needed (pretty warm in the lung room), but why not. --- If the pump ever fails, to prevent flood-backs, made sure to place the unit above the water level and resting above the brew bucket. - [10:37]: Filled the 5-gallon bucket with 1-gallon of RO water. --- Plugging the pump in to start the bubbling! --- Have to say that the unit is a bit louder than anticipated, but wow the bubbles are quite vigorous and could not achieve the same level of aeration with air-stones. - [10:46]: Time to pre-condition the water! --- Since I'm using RO water, both chlorine and chloramine shouldn't be an issue. Let’s go! --- Unhooked and removed the compost bag before squeezing the water out (best I could). - [20:15]: Emptied the compost into a plastic bin. --- Top-dressed the compost onto the top of both the 20-gallon and 30-gallon pot in the 4x4 tent. - [20:28]: Time to feed! --- Poured 6 cups straight through a plastic coffee filter and into a pump sprayer. - [20:55]: Misted the 20-gallon pot’s straw mulch. --- Sprayed the straw evenly. --- Repeated this process for the 30-gallon pot. --- Also swapped out the yellow sticky traps. --- The remaining solution (~2 cups) was poured into a pitcher and used on the house plants. --- Wow using a coffee filter has completely eliminated the clogging issue I was getting with the popcorn tea (almost bought a new pump). Start of Week 9 🙌 I plan to use fertilizer for bud growth from day 64 to day 70+... depending on when the harvest time occurs 😉😄👍 Started working with fertilizer today, every 2 days a mixture of 10ml per liter as long as the buds have not properly developed trichomes 😵 I hope this works 😵😲😱 Day 68 with fertilizer again

This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of us sites developing!

12/12 since second week

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Es wird hier einfach zu heiss im Zelt. Day 54: Weltuntergangsstimmung für meine Zoe . Dank des Super Wetters hab ich hier 77%-80% Luftfeuchtigkeit (draussen ist es noch höher ) und es wird auch noch warm . Ergo, schon gestern hat meine Pflanze extreme Probleme mit der Wurzeltemperatur bekommen und hat die Blätter hängen lassen . Ich hab das Licht runtergeschraubt und Abluft extrem erhöht. Ventilation direkt in die Pflanze sonst gibts Schimmel . Aber hilft halt nicht wirklich . Luftentfeuchter läuft auf Dauerschaltung und produziert dann auch noch Wärme, die ich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen kann bei den Temperaturen draussen lol. Ein Teufelskreis :(((((( Day 55: + 1.75 Liter Flaschenwasser + + Dünger für Blühte + + + Canna Terrar Flores (Achtung wirkt wie PH-) + + + Canna Boost + + + Cannazym + + + Canna PH+ + + PH 5.88 Draussen sind 31 Grad , ich hab den ganzen Growroom + Vorraum (meine Wohnung ) über Nacht runtergekühlt so weit es ging (23°C und 22°C). Das Licht noch weiter reduziert dafür näher an die Planze gemacht. Das ist wirklich das mindeste was noch geht. Liegt ca bei PPFD 600 an der Spitze . Wenigstens ist hier die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen , zwar immer noch zuviel (67% im Zelt) aber besser so als das hier die Hitze in die Höhe schießt . Nach 12h Licht (19:00 Uhr) wird dann wieder aufgedreht und die letzen Stunden mit mehr intensität nachgeholt was nachzuholen geht , denn dann gehen hier erst wieder die Temperaturen runter . Day 56: Läuft wie gestern ab 19:00 wurde das Licht aufgedreht und DLI nachgeholt .
