Hello everyone, One hour ago the peyote cookies experienced for the first time total darkness and are officially in flower mode. I vegged the plant for 7 weeks and am a little bit disappointed, they didn't stretch much and the main stem is to the thin side, but it is what it is. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day. My Runtz plant has some dark green leaves, and they're the most interesting of all the plants in the tent. They're really pointy and almost look like they have some old European genetics. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Esa familiaa, estoy impresionado porque estas skunk están muy compactas, es una cepa increíble, y no la fume todavía, solo hay que verlas no solo lo prietas que van, si no lo tricomas as que están . Hay que felicitar a Zambezaseeds ya que esta variedad es muy estable y sencilla de llevar. Ph controlado, quitamos productos y lavamos raíces, pronto solo agua. Ph controlado, temperatura por debajo de 29 y humedad por debajo del 40%, deseando que estén listas para ver la producción, esss flores pesarán, hasta la semana que viene fumetillas.

Hello Growmies! As we conclude our Epic Buzz journey, let's dive into the final harvest data under the exceptional conditions provided by the Trolmaster and the engaging platform of GD. This week marks the end of our cultivation cycle with a final wet weight of 1720 grams from a setup featuring the FC4800 light dimmed to 65% maximum, utilizing 108 watts over an area of approximately 0.48 square meters. Final Harvest Metrics: Yield Efficiency: Achieved an impressive yield efficiency of 15.92 wet grams per watt, underscoring the efficiency of our light setup. Area Yield: With a productivity of 3583.33 wet grams per square meter, our cultivation space was maximized for optimal output. Plant Yield: Each plant contributed significantly, averaging 573.33 grams, highlighting robust growth and development. Density: The garden hosted 6.25 plants per square meter, optimizing space without overcrowding. Energy Utilization: The grow utilized 225 watts per square meter, a testament to our strategic light management. A huge shoutout to Trolmaster for making such an amazing contest possible, and to GD for providing a platform that brings us all together. This cultivation journey has been a rewarding challenge, showcasing the potential of careful strain selection and attentive grow practices. Thank you. Gave her a cocktail to help with stress. Added 1st net for lateral support, not so much now, but for later. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. Providing plants with necessary antioxidants helps protect the photosynthetic apparatus by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause damage from excess light. UV light exposure can impact the xanthophyll cycle by either enhancing its photoprotective role or causing damage, depending on the intensity and type of UV radiation. UV exposure can trigger the synthesis of more xanthophyll cycle pigments to increase the plant's capacity to dissipate excess energy, but it can also cause direct damage, particularly to Photosystem II, and may lead to a decrease in the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) which indicates a reduced capacity to dissipate excess energy. Plants can respond to UV stress by increasing the synthesis of xanthophyll cycle pigments, such as violaxanthin and zeaxanthin, to improve their photoprotective capacity. UV-induced changes in xanthophyll cycle pigments can be linked to a plant's overall tolerance to high radiation stress. The xanthophyll cycle helps protect against photoinhibition, which is especially important when the plant is exposed to high levels of both UV and visible light. High doses of UV radiation can directly damage photosynthetic components, including the proteins, lipids, and pigments in the thylakoid membranes. Exposure to UV radiation can have a mixed effect on the de-epoxidation state (DEPS ratio) of the xanthophyll cycle pigments. In some cases, UV can inhibit the conversion of violaxanthin to zeaxanthin, resulting in a lower DEPS ratio and a reduced capacity for energy dissipation. However, the total pool of xanthophyll cycle pigments may increase, and this enhanced pool size could provide a greater potential for photoprotection despite a lower DEPS ratio. The xanthophyll cycle works alongside other mechanisms, such as the accumulation of flavonoids (UV screens), to protect the plant from UV-induced damage. Blue light repairs 100% UV-induced damage in plants through a process called photoreactivation, which uses a light-dependent enzyme called photolyase. This enzyme uses energy from blue and UV-A light to directly reverse the damaging pyrimidine dimers in the DNA caused by UV-B radiation, a key mechanism for maintaining the plant's genetic integrity. After carbon, light, water, temperature, and nutrients, the limiting factor of a plant's growth is often its own internal factors or the amount of a key ingredient. Chlorophyll concentration is one such factor, as the amount of this pigment limits how much light can be captured for photosynthesis. The plant may increase leaf thickness or deposit more cuticular wax, creating a physical barrier to the radiation. The plant will produce more enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants to neutralize the reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced by the UV-B radiation. The plant activates enzymes, including photolyases, to repair DNA damage caused by the UV-B. These repair mechanisms are critical for preventing permanent genetic mutations. While protective measures are activated, a high dose delivered over a short period can cause stress that overwhelms the plant's defenses. Photosynthesis is highly sensitive to UV-B. A high dose can inactivate Photosystem II (PSII), damage thylakoid membranes within the chloroplasts, and reduce chlorophyll content, which lowers the plant's overall photosynthetic capacity. Despite repair mechanisms, high UV-B doses can inflict persistent damage on the plant's DNA. One study found that acute, high-dose UV-B had a greater effect on genome stability than chronic, low-dose exposure. The overproduction of reactive oxygen species can cause oxidative stress, leading to the oxidation of lipids and proteins and disrupting cellular function.

Day 29. No problems as far as I can see. Started doing daily feeds from day 20, figuring I'll keep consistent track of the runoff PPM, and it is right now at 330, which is the highest reading so far (too high?). Inflow has been steady at 420-460 PPM for a while, and will continue until flower. Last weeks topping turned out to be a FIM, and I now have 8 new tops.. "fuck I missed" indeed

We back with some buckets! Straight outta the stix! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

Неделя прошла как и планировалось. Вовремя в начале недели понизил яркость ламп, это остановило разрушение старых листьев от переизбытка магния и нехватки кальция. Ко всему прочему снизило быстрый стретч и позволило гнуть ветки, так как они снизили скорость утолщения. Одна из веток на 4-ом этаже лопнула от основного ствола, пришлось делать целу систему из растяжек, чтобы и гнуть можно было, и чтобы транспортная мозоль могла образоваться. В высоту прибавии только 2 см, это из-за того что основной ствол еще больше получил утолщение и немного вытянулся в длинну, остальные 8 веток несчастно гнутся и разводятся по сторонам. PPM также 700 как на влив, так и в дренаже, то есть питается отлично, проблем нет вообще никаких, старые листья не стали прогрессировать в образовании ржавчины и продолжают жить и пахнуть. Новые листья правильной формы и без эффекта "преднизалона". Утром запах как в хвойном лесу. Не смотря на свои 30 дней от роду, пахнет довольно сильно, и это не смотря на то что даже не цветет. Склоняюсь к тому, чтобы начать переводить на цветение, как раз за неделю ветки подрастут, вытянутся и будем иметь красиво сформировавшийся куст. Спасибо что заглянули. Day 35 of Flower (Week 5) ​Current Status: The ladies are crushing it. We are officially in the thick of the "frosting up" phase, and the terps in the tent are absolutely insane—the whole room smells like a premium fruit salad. ​Feeding & Environment: ​Irrigation: The girls are thirsty, smashing through 4L to 4.5L of solution every three days. ​Maintenance: Keeping things stress-free. Just light defoliation to clear out those old, fading, and yellowing fan leaves to keep the airflow tight and light hitting the lower canopy. ​Climate Control: To battle the slightly high humidity, I’ve upgraded the airflow game by adding an extra Secret Jardin fan to keep the air moving through the dense canopy and prevent any moisture traps. ​Strain Breakdown & Observations: ​The Nebula: Looking heavy and structurally sound. The colas are starting to stack nicely, and she’s putting on a serious layer of trichomes. She seems to be loving the current feed schedule. ​The Caramba: Absolutely killing it with the resin production. She’s glistening under the lights and the structure is compact and tight. The fruit terps coming off her are loud—easily the most fragrant in the tent right now. ​Overall Assessment: Everything is dialled in. The plants are looking super healthy, and with the extra air circulation, we are in a great spot to finish strong. The frost is legit, and the bud density is picking up pace daily. We’re in the home stretch of the swell—time to keep the environment stable and let them pack on that final mass.
