Well this is it, the last week for this little mighty Kushberry. The buds came a long way this week, really darkening in colour and becoming hard as rocks and sticky AF. Oh and the smell?? Absolutely mouth watering purple berries. Trichomes are 100% cloudy and just starting to see reds so she's coming down this afternoon. Nothing really done throughout the week, just tracking the trichomes every few days to try and nail my version of the perfect harvest window.

Basically just watching her become seasoned..She will be having her last feeding this week.. She looks absolutely gorgeous if I must say so myself 😆 🤣

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. This strain is the best thing I've ever grown in my life. It is absolutely my favorite of all. It always was, and always will be my prime top choice. It almost seems that this particular strain was created by the weed gods and designed specially for me, considering all my preferences. I had absolutely no problems growing it. The plant was beautiful, the size was ideal, the smell and the taste were just supreme, and the harvest was tremendous! Sie entwickelt sich sehr gut. Vom Topping hat sie sich erholt und ist insgesamt kräftiger geworden. Kommende Woche nach den Eisheiligen wird sie noch einmal verpflanzt in ihren endgültigen Topf. Sie zeigt sehr breite, indicalastige Blätter, meist verändert sich das in der Blütezeit. Ansonsten ist sie gesund und zeigt keine Mangelerscheinungen, wird allerdings kommende Woche vor dem Umpflanzen mit einer Portiopn Vinasse und Seetang auf das Umpopfen vorbereitet werden.

Venga familia, va la cuarta semana de crecimiento de estas Frosted Guava de Zamnesia. Después del trasplante se a comportado muy bien y no lo notaron , apenas se estresaron, me gustaría hacer un SCROG , así que iremos viendo qué tal el crecimiento y vemos si podemos aplicarlo. Añadimos flash root de Agrobeta, también empiezo a echar tucán y Gold Joker, aparte las bases blue line A de Agrobeta. Vamos a incentivar a un buen enraizado, y darles chicha para que empiecen a crecer un poco a lo ancho. La humedad está en su punto, me podría quejar por temperatura ya que me gustaría tenerla par de grados abajo pero aún así va a a crecer bien. **Week 8 - Third Week of Flower** Things are getting wild in the Donutz tent! After the insane stretch last week, the plants have turned the space into a full-on jungle. The start of Week 8 called for drastic measures, and the results are setting the stage for explosive bud production. **Key Updates**: - **Aggressive Defoliation**: On Day 1 of the third flower week, the plants underwent a *brutal* defoliation. Every bud site that had started to develop its own leaves was stripped of its fan leaves, allowing light to flood the canopy. Even the smallest sites now have excellent exposure, giving them the best chance to mature into chunky nugs in the coming weeks. Despite the intensity of the trim, the plants are resilient and primed to bounce back strong. - **Boosted Nutrients**: To support the plants after the stress of defoliation, I added another 5-6g of Greenhouse Feeding Bloom per plant. This ensures the soil stays nutrient-rich and gives the plants the resources they need to recover and thrive. - **Watering**: Still rocking reverse osmosis (RO) water, ensuring clean and efficient hydration without any surprises. **Observations**: - The canopy is significantly cleaner and more open, with light now reaching deeper into the lower sections. - The plants are handling the defoliation well, with no immediate signs of stress or shock. - Bud sites are already looking promising, with visible development and an even distribution across the canopy. **Looking Ahead**: The next few weeks will be all about letting the plants recover and watching the buds stack up. With improved light penetration and a fresh dose of nutrients, everything is lined up for some impressive development. The Donutz are thriving, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high — the tent is set to deliver big!

5/26 Sat, 20 days ago I transplanted clones to 4” pots from rooting cells at 4.5” to 8”, today they range from 21”- 23.5” tall, 5/29 Tues trimmed lower branches, made some cuttings for next grow 6/1 transplant to 7 gal grow bags

The day of harvest has arrived! Even though it always feels like a big day - at least for growing, lol - there isn’t actually much to be done. I always hang the plants as a whole and only trim enough to make sure there are no air pockets during the drying process. I know it might spark some controversy, but I dry by VPD, which also lets me adjust the humidity according to the temperature. Each plant came in at around 200g wet weight, which is rather small - but honestly, if the quality is high, I don’t mind. I have to admit though, they are very small 😜. The smell is as expected: like you put your head in cookie dough! Until next time!
