Apologies that this took me so long to update! This harvest was probably my second favorite, after my Choc Mint OG. Even tho the yeild was low due to only having 1 plant after a season on downs.

Week 8 Into the 9th week now, getting real close. The final feed until flush. It has gotten a little cooler however, temps are still in the high 20's and humidity is 70ish. The Pineapples are shapping up very nicely. I walk up to the solarium and i'm hit by a wall of stinkin bud, it's delicious 😋 These aphids are very persistent however, i'm keeping them down to a minimum and with the time left i'm not concerned. PE1 should be ready on time however, PE2 isn't maturing as quickly and may need a little more but, even though she doesn't have quite the height as her sibling she's getting chubby. The lemonade is a chunky little thing, she looks very dense. I now get a hint of homemade lemonade in there as she's maturing which is very cool. Pistils are browning quite quickly... steady now, mustn't get too excited 😁

F week 4.

chopped #1 on 1/21/25 started curing today 1/27/25 chopped #5 on 1/23/25 still hanging and drying. will update with weights and smoke reports and more pictures when dried and cured #1 33 grams. nice big nugs. i really like how the mainline turned out with the final product #5 32 grams smaller buds overall but the yeild is very similar. these are weights after trimming. i did a fairly heavy trim on thesr 2 plants. this diary started with 5 plants but because of my perpetual flowering set up, i have had 3 other diaries for the flowering stages of the other 3. The flowering stage of this diary are only plant #1 and plant #5

I am an irredeemable wet-trimmer. Trimming this one was reasonably easy, but because there was so much of it ... it still took some time. Some of the "trim" was completely covered by trichomes but I treated her like any other plant in this regard and I'm satisfied with the results. The trim bucket looks ridiculous though. I added a pic of some of the last trim to the gallery. I tried to make a few videos too - I think my videomaking style is called "spaceship flies over woodlands" so please don't judge.. at least there is no audio of me making plane noises.. 💩

I am starting to cure the first plant. Yield will be posted when every plant will be harvested.

This week we had to go on a destination wedding and had to have friends house sit. Again 😔 I hate having to do that, but this time everything went very smoothly. We didnt lose any plants lol. Before we left I was able to get #2 transplanted in a 7x7 nursery pot. Man was she ready too! I've decided since I am only growing 2 Choc Mknt OGs that i will be training one(both high and low stress) and this plant(#2) I will be leaving completely alone to do her own thing 🤞 Watering has went smoothly this week. Both plants only wanting water once in this 7 day stretch. I think because the transplant soil was already very moist. #1 has rooted and already started taking off from her transplant last week. Tent update: Our ES300 by the green sunshine company arrived this week!!! I was able to get it I'll installed before leaving. So now in my Vivosun 2x4 tent I have 1 es300. I moved the viparspectra to my large flower tent. The Choc mint seem to absolutely love this light. I started it at 70% power(its a dimmable light fixture) and am slowly moving it up over the course of a week. Day 12: my friend reported great growth on #2!! So she is rooted as well and doing good. Also, the heat in my 2x4 is in the low 80° getting up to 85° even 90°(for a few minutes) I'm mostly running Sativas which love the heat, but I have noticed Choc Mint OG prefers it a little cooler. Ooohhhweee! This is a pretty plant! Perfect bud structure, great resin production, and the terps are sweet abnd earthy. One of my favs in the tent right now! ✌️🏻💚

This week they really exploded and all new growth is lush and green so they seemed to have settled very well after the composttea. The grape&cream #1 & #2 are starting to catch up to #3 as ive been bending and topping #3 a little more. Due to the blumats keeping their soil moist ive just put in about 200ml of composttea in each pot. All cuttings have rooted so far with just some pokon run of the mill cloning powder so thats a good thing to keep in mind. As we head into week 4 ive seen the possibility to do some defoliation and supercropping to try to get a bit of an even canopy. Keep you posted!

Nice growing, the yield to time ratio is weaker than in the case of automatic strains, maybe it is also due to some stressful factors. but the power is huuuge. Sticky fingers ☀️😉😄 thanks to all teachers

Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!

Week 5 Day 7 Flower Everything moving along swimmingly Nice strong smell coming from these nicely forming buds. Roots are nice and clean colonizing the trays. Planted into final 15 ltr pots, put into veg tent, started automated feeding on light nutrients. Automated watering, pump turns on & waters plants for 15 minutes out of every hour. Recirculating hydro, I run air pumps to my resovoir to provide airated water/nutes to the plants. Hydro system is a 15 ltr pro pot recirculating adjustable height system. Inner & outer pots! Inner pot has plastic mesh type of bottom , holes everywhere to allow roots to grow through, this sits in a sealed pot apart from 19 mm drainage hose, & has 3 adjustable heights. Which is very handy when you have plants of different heights, as it helps to level them out. Drainage pipe is waround an inch or so off the bottom, so that their is always water/nutes in the bottom of pot, another reason I run air lines. Plants grow big root system's in it! At harvest time when I take the top pots out the roots have filled the entire space & are really compressed! Absolutely crazy! I run the same set up in veg & flower & as I grow perpetualy it makes it easy to simply pick up the inner pot & move it & place it in flowering tent & set up. System can be purchased with a 3rd pot as to be used upside down as a base to get pots of the ground so they can be drained back to a res. Instead of doing like that I simply built a table to sit the system on allowing me to drain it to a res underneath, it came at a good price as well, grows awesome plants.
