đż Skywalker OG â Week 4 Report
12/12 from seed
đ Disclaimer / Timeline clarification
Before we begin, a quick note for transparency:
Last week, while compiling the reports, I unintentionally included some photos that actually belong to this week. That oneâs on me. Itâs fairly easy to notice which photos those are, and to avoid duplicating files, Iâll keep the correct visuals where they are while continuing to share this weekâs genetics shots and videos as intended.
Thank you for the understanding â clarity and honesty always come first here đ

đ± Week 4 overview
We are now in Week 4 of vegetative development under a 12/12 light schedule from seed.
The Skywalker OG girls are looking outstanding:
âą Deep, lush green coloration
âą Strong, healthy leaf structure
âą Calm posture with no visible stress
âą Excellent overall vigor
These plants are clearly happy and well-settled in their environment.
âž»
đż Structure & training notes
At this stage, the plants are reaching 7â8 nodes, with some approaching 9 nodes, and weâre beginning to see early branching.
Training so far has been:
âą Gentle leaf tucking
âą Light leaf bending
âą No aggressive manipulation
âą No intentional stress
The goal right now is simply guidance, not force â helping light reach lower sites while allowing the plant to stay relaxed and balanced.
Branching is happening slowly and naturally, which is exactly what we expect under 12/12 from seed. At this moment, the plants are still prioritizing root system expansion over top growth, and that foundation will pay off later.

đ± Why growth looks the way it does (12/12 from seed)
A quick reminder for anyone new joining us:
Under 12/12 from seed:
âą Vegetative growth is more compact
âą Plants focus heavily on roots early on
âą Structural decisions are made carefully by the plant
âą Flowering does not start immediately
This is not a race â itâs a controlled, intentional build-up.
âž»
Nutrition & overall health
The current nutrition plan is clearly doing its job. Across the diaries, weâre seeing:
âą Balanced green tones (no burn, no fade)
âą Clean leaf edges
âą Strong stems
âą Consistent vigor
Every plant expresses herself a bit differently â autos, photoperiods, different genetics â but the overall health across the room is excellent, and thatâs always the real metric.
âž»
đź What to expect next
Over the coming week(s), expect:
âą Continued node development
âą Stronger lateral branching
âą Gradual shift toward pre-flower behavior
âą Increased structural definition
What not to expect just yet:
âą No heavy stretch
âą No real flower formation
âą No need for defoliation
âą No drastic changes
Consistency remains the key.

đ Final notes
Huge thank you to everyone following along, observing, asking questions, and sharing this journey with us. Itâs always a pleasure documenting these runs and learning together.
And of course, a big shout-out to the genetics from Zamnesia â each plant is showing her own personality, and itâs beautiful to watch.
The girls are doing greatâŠ
âŠand they definitely say hi back to you all đđ±

đ Growers love to all đ
đž P.S. â The Eye Behind the Lens
All photos in this diary (for now â except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more.
Photography is part of the story â itâs how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words canât always capture.
Iâve also started experimenting with photo stacking â a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back.
Itâs not digital enhancement or AI; itâs pure photography â a way to reveal the plantâs beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal.
Youâll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots â camera, lens, setup â because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
