24/09 - D17 since pistills. Busy day today. Full res change, with nutes modified to transition to bloom for the next couple of days before I bump her to full dose bloom 3 weeks from pistills showing. Also did some heavy defoliation. Started chopping with the intent of taking a few, but concerns around humidty levels have been in the back of my mind for awhile and given I was all geared up in the tent anyway I went to town. Removed a couple of weaker branches that were interfering with other sites, and took a large amount of lengthy and inward facing leaves. Walked away and came back and the difference was quite shocking (first grow!), but she looks better for it. Flowers are now exposed to light, and areas where moisture can get trapped have been dramatically reduced if not eliminated. Hopefully she responds well to her new haircut. Also came across my guard spider while sweeping out some leaves that fell behind the res, not sure what hes eating in there, maybe he just likes the smell! EC: 1.27, PH 5.8. 25/09 - Managed to get humidity down to 55 after the defoiation and leaving the door of the tent open. She seems to be happy after her haircut. PH dropping slowly at 5.7, EC stable at 1.27, water dropping. 26/09 - Small spot of PM on one sugar and one fan leaf. Wiped clean with a wet tissue and trimmed off. Will spray with diluted milk mixture at lights out and keep my eyes open for further infection. Modified setup a bit to try and bring the humidty down further and increase air flow, but struggling to get it below 55% even with a humidifer in the tent and the fan ramped up to max. Going to do a res change with full bloom nutes tomorrow so as not to prolong this grow longer than needs be. 27/09 - Full Res change to bloom nutes. 35ml Micr, 6ml Grow, 45ml Bloom. No new spots of PM seen, continuing with minor trimming when I spot any touching leaves as a preventative. RH finally pulled down into the 40's, and then my fan broke. Time to buy a new one. 28/09 - PH stable at 5.8, EC at 1.27. Going to try and leave well alone from this point forward unless issues arise or I see damp spots forming. Humidty finally down to 40%. 29/09 - PH and EC dropping. Topped off res with 8l of water at 50%. 13ml Micro, 3ml Grow, 20ml Bloom. PH 6.0, EC 1.3ish. 30/09 - PH 5.8, EC 1.17. Continuing to trim a couple of leaves here and there when I spot an overlap or blockage and pinch off tiny bud shoots below the canopy.

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

I got scared cause this is an auto or supposed to be an auto and we’re still in veg after 11 weeks. I had to leave for a week to attend to some business so I put it on 1212 before I left now she’s doing her thing.

The ladies are packing on beautifully and we are now giving them extra strength light during 12:00 till 14:00 slot 100% and lowering the light back down to 75% from 14:00 till 17:00 and then 50% light from 17:00 till 23:00. Lets see what happens

Quick Summary: moved and transplanted around day 18 into 5 gal. airpots with fresh ocean forrest, flowering began around day 24, thought I maybe had some nutrient burn, more likely cause is phosphorous and/or cal/mag deficiencies, three plants in the home stretch, O has a bit longer Day 50 Update: Watered and took some pictures last night. Not much new. Pretty sure they have massive deficiencies instead of any burn. I may chronically underwater/underfeed my plants. I'm still learning. This is my fourth grow ever so there's still lots to learn. Day 51 Update: Meant to water today but didn't. Day 52 Update: I spent a while with each plant and took some pictures/video when plant O was out of the tent. You can see some pretty clear brown spots on a fair bit of the shorter two plants. S is all kinds of ugly, but who knows, maybe still put out a decent weight. I fed twice in a row now and added some CaliMagic (forget the company name) this time. I read about how when there are stronger lights or MORE lights, the plants can burn through phosphorous rapidly, so maybe that's the issue I had. Either way, about day 40 seems like when the nutrients can be more steadily increased. The shorter two, V and P, have about 2ish weeks so that will likely be their last feeding. S too probably. O, on the other hand, has several weeks left but is looking otherwise really solid. Hopefully I got enough nutrients in early enough in that plant's flowering that it won't show any deficiencies. It's a monster too! 38 inches to the top of the spire. The other three are 25, 21, and 19 inches still so likely their final heights. I kept the tallest as the plant height for the diary because the top end is good to know for other indoor growers. Day 53 Update: No news. Day 54 Update: No news. Day 55 Update: S, V, and P are the three shorter plants. They are all starting to take water a bit slower. They didn’t *need* water tonight, so I’ll give them another day. O, on the other hand, is a monster! Probably needed water yesterday. Filtered tap, about 2 gal for O tonight. Food next time for O also. Others are in the wind-down so we’ll see. 2 Black Cherry Gelato 🍒 Clones from my clone guy- 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension. Garage grow SoCal. Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to develop and gain weight. Trichomes are coming along. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. The hardest buds I have grown, like rocks. Thc content is like the last grow insanely good. Bag appeal, smell and bud structure is 10/10. After growing this strain in organics and then coco I am now going to try it in hydro. I really do like barneys farm seeds and highly recommend the Runtz Muffin strain.

Went a little crazy this week but it needed it

The plant started off good. Unfortunately the environment wasn't the best to begin with but overall I think with the deficiencies still present. It turned out okay. This was grown with just the standard grow micro bloom. Due to covid, I was unable to order additional macro nutrients. Yeilds suffered as a result but overall happy for my first grow.

Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 13 Jan 8- Jan 14 This was another amazing week. Girls are behaved very well. Drinking their juice like crazy. 2 waterings of 9ltrs on Jan 10th and Jan 13th. Runoffs at ph 6.2. Buds are gaining some serious weight and the trichomes development is of the charts. Girls are covered with frost. Trichomes are mainly milky now with individual ambers here and there. On Jan 10 noticed on one Athena top colas a white topped bud! It's something that has never happened to me. It may be only led bleach or it's something abnormal and phenomenal. It's white and has red and amber pistil hairs in between and all covered with trichomes. Few days after. White coulour is not spreading and not seeing any damages. The smell in my cabinet its insane. Very sweet scents. I wouldn't say bananas but definitely sweet berries and gummies 🤤 new dehumidifier doing an amazing job. Humidity when light is on is between 49-54% and 52-58% when lights are out. It's all looking that my 🍌💜👊 girls will be ladies very soon. Harvest is coming big time. Next week planning to gradually cut nutrients down and prepare for flush.
