Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The precision I’m able to achieve with the AMP-3 is mind-blowing—I get immediate feedback on pH, temperature, and EC, allowing me to make real-time adjustments and ensure the perfect environment for nutrient uptake. 📊 Environmental Mastery Thanks to TrolMaster 📊 Speaking of control—let’s talk about the TrolMaster system! Between the DSH-2U Humidity Station and all the other sensors, I’ve created the perfect environment for my plants. Here’s where we’re at this week: • Temperature: 26.2°C • RH: 70.6% • CO2 levels: 775 ppm • VPD: 1.0 kPa • PPFD: 423 Thanks to TrolMaster, I can monitor and adjust these metrics in real time, and the best part? I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Day 58, 7th of November 2020: The 6th day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... These Original Sensible ones are having really nice smell :) Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Changed to automatic watering 3 litres per 24 hours on drip hose. Everything going really well Each plant is getting a slow feed at 118ml/min in 30 minute intervals spaced evenly over a 24 hour period Only 2 weeks till turning, smallest plant is 23cm but in the last week has started growing well, largest is 40cm

This one is entering flower beautifully. Just reeks of lemons. and oh boy just like a sativa it likes to stretch. But i also think that stretch has to do with malted barley and aloe vera juice. cant wait to start the pot patch this year.

Flushed the plants a bit early, which caused yellow leaves. Going to hit it with some 4-35-26 for two more weeks and then flush again & then chop. Chopped on day 87-89. All three plants vary. Excited to see how they smoke after drying and curing.

start of week 6. (day 36). i am not sure how far my plant is in flower right now. she looks like week 4 now but shes in flower since march 12 (today is may 4th) i noticed she kept growing the first weeks of 12/12 but here she is now, huge and bushy but looks like a week 4 or 5 of flower here... gues ill have to flower her at least another 3 weeks from now. as u see in the video, the smallest plant doesnt have too much yield, thats because i cut of so many undergrowth (stems and leaves) during the third week of flower) this plant was already in a very bad shape before flower. how she looks now is unbelievable compare here here and watch the pics of week 5 vegetation. i flushed the system this morning untill this evening ( in the 12h dark period they run straight rainwater) and when the lights turned back on tonnight i added the nutrients at 820ppm (0.5 convertion) i hope she will now get more explosive as i had 250 grams dried but last time i grew this on soil (2 plants, this diary is on here too “critical”) these were grown under the same light in soil, finished quicker and had more yield (as of now) anyway lets see what happens the next weeks. may 8 (day 39) defoliation, not too much just big fanleaves from the top of the cannopy and underneath the net, more light reaches budsites now

Week 5 veg - clones and Week 3 - Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seed Co.) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from seed. G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas topped with 2 clones each taken from cuttings to propagate placed in 2x2 clone/seedling tent with low LED lighting. Temps in low 80F w/60% ROH. Clone cuttings covered with sandwich bags used as humidity domes. After taking cuttings transferred G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas to 3x3x6 AC Infinity tent under Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Black Cherry Gas clone, Blueberry Cupcake, and French Macaron from seed remain in 2x4x5 AC Infinity under Spider Farmer SF-2000 with dimmer set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Continued twice weekly IPM foliar treatment with Organishield as well as watering soil program (SP).

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. - i'm back already! i decited to harvest today on day 93, there was about 5-10% amber so i din't want to wait any longer! - all pics are from right before/during/after harvest - the 2 lowest branches are trimmed up and drying in a brown paper bag, the rest is drying in my carboard box - i will be back with a harvest report and smoke report in about 10 days when everything is nice and dry. - added 3 videos at the end so check em out
