Topped one of them but it's still to small to bend in any way, at least for this week. Looks like the nutrients in the All Mix soil might not be enough for this stage. I will be dropping ActiVera and BioHeaven and will start introducing BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax. CalMag I use pretty almost every single watering other than in flushing as the water is very soft. Temperature a bit hot this week. The light is working at about 70% right now but I can probably lower it if it gets too hot. As this is not an auto, and might be quite branchy, I wanted to try and make a nicely organized structure so I can go crazy with topping and try and get a new record output for this space. Let's see how that works out :P

👉The plant is looking vibrant and seems to continue to flourish, albeit seemingly taking its sweet time. Seems like its in slow motion compared to its veg cycle. To see changes you have to look close or compare pix from a couple days apart. The flowers are getting more aromatic, and has the typical wonderfully sweet lemony stank think going on. Super frostiness as can be seen in the pix. The trichomes are totally illuminated by the lights used by my camera (flash and an LED worklight). May rival the gorilla glue for frosty overload. No new nutrient issues have shown up. The burned tips remain and I hope my good fortune continues. It developed a lot of smaller branches and will have lots of pop-corn buds. Shouldn’t be too much of a big deal and will add to the hash production in the end. 👉My time has been slightly curtailed due to work demands and I hadn’t been able to mule any water home until today. In the absence of the 98% pure water I get from a medical facility, Ive been using tap water run thru a 1cf carbon tank. The tank dechlorinates the water, I use it for my outdoor patio garden of herbs, peppers and single tomato plant. The pure water was 4micro siemens conductivity, the carbon tank water is 45micro siemens (tap is 245). The carbon tank water is far less reactive. This is evident when adjusting the pH. A batch made with the RO water needs just a few drops of pH down to reach desired pH. A batch made with the Carbon tank water takes a couple droppers full. Ive also noticed that the plant may not be able to absorb as much of the nutrients with the carbon tank water. This may be pure anecdotal stoner’s observation, but the EC of the run off has been almost impossible to get down to matching inflow. Its staying 20+ and shoots right up to 30+ each day. I started just giving double volume feed water and no low EC solution. Partly because I broke one of the jugs which I used for mixed solution batches. The high EC run-off may also be a result of the dried nutrients on the side of the pot being washed away more due to the higher volume of inflow. So I may be chasing my tail on this by giving full strength nutrients at double the volume with double run-off. Good thing is that you cant over water in coco unless you try really, really hard. 2 fertigations in one day isn’t even close. The plant is drinking more each day as measurement of the run-off compared to inflow shows the saturation volume. I fertigate in two steps when doing high volume, divide total volume in half and feed half and then measure the runoff. I then feed the second half and again measure the run-off. The difference between the inflow and run-off is the amount taken in by plant and lost to evaporation. I split the total in half to get a more accurate measurement of saturation level and plant intake/evaporation level. I then use that information to help predict how much solution should be given at the next fertigation event. This coming week I will be switching to the late bloom solution mix recipe for the GHE drain to waste chart. I mix it to the upper level strength for desired EC. The difference is slight. It removes rapid start from the mix, and reduces others slightly, except for bloom and micro. I should be able to return to the RO water for the rest of the grow. 👉I haven’t taken an actual measure of the height this week, but at tonight’s fertigation I measured the tips of the center colas were 15” from the light, so I will raise them in the morning back to 18”. The plant could probably take being fairly close to the lights, but I don’t think its nessessary to risk light stress if I don’t have to. There is still 6 more inches of verticle room to raise the lights. If the 99 decides to just keep going slow and steady, packing on bud-age, I can also spread the lights outward and angle the lights to give the two top colas more space.

Recovering from a hard week of losing a third of the leaves. I had nutrient lockout from too high ec which results in the roots not drinking eating. I thought I had some mold so I cut all the yellowing leaves which were the plant’s buffers causing it to lose more leaves in a doom loop until I realized what the problem was. It feels like it’s restarting and I have lost some time

Small but flowering strong Aside the cost per seed, this pot hold 2 plants, so let's see how much per pot I can produce 25/01 the flowers are really swelling nicely! They smell incredible, my lungs say 'thank you 🙏'

Week 3: Noticed she started to look a little droopy on me and some slight yellowing on the lower leaves, she was outgrowing the solo cup and I think she needed some nutes so I transplanted her into some fresh soil, I am using a mix of ocean forest and coco so that should give her all the nutrients she needs for the next couple of weeks until it’s time to top dress with some Gaia green. This is an organic grow and I’m just using dechlorinated tap water. Confident she will bounce back and hopefully she didn’t stunt too much

I am a little late on updating this week. I left the girls alone for a few days and came back to a jungle. Going to be doing a lot of defoliation over the next couple days. I have cut out the maxigro, silica, and humic/fulvic. I started them on some liquid koolbloom to help build the buds. Twisted helix is a very sad plant. The leaves literally turn upside down like it just wants to die. If I just brush up against the plant is shows signs of major stress. I will give the strain one more chance in the future before I call it a failure. Other than that all the plants are looking happy and packing on some pistils. Just going to keep the juice pumping and the lights beaming.....

I start flunshing now after the last dose of organic additives wich boost sugar and protein storages in the buds to create new tissues and enhance flavour an odour.

She's not. 😂🍑 We're now at week 9 from seed, and this girl has been showing signs of flowering for roughly three weeks. Three weeks. And somehow, when I look at her, I get the feeling she's still thinking about whether she really wants to commit to the idea. She's giving us the same message she's been giving us for weeks: “I'm getting there. Relax.” And honestly? I've learned to listen. Because while Passion Fruitz may be incredibly slow compared with the rest of the tent, she's certainly not doing nothing. She's building. She's growing. She's staying beautiful. And she's giving us another fascinating example of just how differently genetics can behave when they're given the same environment. 🐌 The Slowest Girl in the Room If you've been following this phenotype from the beginning, you already know her reputation. Passion Fruitz is slow. Not a little slow. Not slightly behind. We're talking about a plant that seems to have completely rejected the concept of rushing. 😂 The other plants around her have moved further into flowering, while Passion Fruitz continues to take her time. We're now several weeks into seeing those first signs of flower development, and the transition is still remarkably gradual. But here's the important part: She doesn't look unhappy. She doesn't look weak. She doesn't look like she's struggling. She's simply on her own schedule. And that distinction matters. Because this is exactly what makes a phenotype hunt so interesting. 🌱 Slow Doesn't Mean She's Standing Still Although her flowering transition has been painfully slow, the plant itself has continued developing beautifully. She's around 72 cm, with a compact, powerful structure and some absolutely beautiful foliage. And those leaves... Wow. They're big. They're beautifully formed. They're carrying that lush green colour that makes this girl so enjoyable to photograph. When I look at her, I don't see a plant that has stopped growing. I see a plant that has spent a lot of time investing in her structure. Strong branches. A dense framework. Large fan leaves. Healthy new growth. She's been building the machine. She's just taking her time deciding when to turn that machine completely toward flowers. 🍑 Three Weeks of "Almost There" This is probably the funniest part of her story right now. We've watched her start showing signs of flowering. Then we watched her continue showing signs of flowering. And now we're watching her... continue showing signs of flowering. 😂😂😂 At this point I'm starting to wonder whether Passion Fruitz has invented her own flowering stage. Maybe this is Passion Fruitz Extended Pre-Flower. But jokes aside, this is actually a fascinating observation. Under the same overall environmental strategy as the rest of the room, she's expressing a very different developmental rhythm. And that's precisely the kind of thing I wanted this project to reveal. The plants don't read the diary. They don't look at the calendar. They don't care what week everyone else is in. They follow their genetics. And this girl apparently has a very long internal calendar. 🍃 The Green I Love One thing I absolutely don't have any complaints about is her foliage. She continues to look beautiful. The colour is strong. The leaves are large. The structure is healthy. And the new growth continues looking vibrant. This is another reason I'm not interested in trying to force her into somebody else's timeline. If the plant is healthy and continuing to develop, then there is value in simply observing. I don't need to make her flower faster just because the plants beside her are further ahead. The entire point is to see what she wants to do. And Passion Fruitz is making that lesson very easy. 🌿 A Structure Worth Looking At The more I photograph this girl, the more I appreciate her architecture. She's not a giant plant. She's not trying to reach the ceiling. But she's compact, sturdy and beautifully built. The large fan leaves give her an almost tropical appearance, while the branching structure underneath shows just how much development has happened before the flowering phase really got moving. There is something quite satisfying about seeing a plant like this. She's essentially saying: “I may be late, but when I arrive, I'll have something to show you.” And now I'm genuinely curious whether that's exactly what she's planning. 📸 Back to the Studio This week I decided Passion Fruitz deserved another trip to the studio. And I'm glad I did. Sometimes when you're looking at plants inside the tent, surrounded by lights, equipment and twenty-plus other plants, it's easy to overlook the individual beauty of one phenotype. Put her on her own... and suddenly you notice everything. The size of those leaves. The colour. The spacing. The branching. The little details in the new growth. The personality of the plant itself. That's one of the reasons I enjoy photography so much during this project. The camera forces me to slow down. And with Passion Fruitz... apparently we're already very good at slowing down. 😂📸🍑 💡 Same Room. Very Different Story. The 8×8 Adventure continues to prove one thing over and over again: Genetics matter. We're giving these plants the same general environment. The same lighting philosophy. The same irrigation system. The same shared reservoir. The same overall cultivation strategy. Yet Passion Fruitz has chosen a completely different timeline. Some phenotypes race into flowering. Some stretch aggressively. Some build flowers almost immediately. And Passion Fruitz? She takes her time. That's not necessarily a disadvantage. It's simply her story. The overhead lighting provides the main source, while the additional lighting deeper in the canopy helps us observe what happens beyond the top layer. Her structure gives us plenty of foliage to work with, and as flowering continues to develop, I'm curious to see how those sites respond throughout the plant. Again, there is no rush. We're simply watching. And documenting. And waiting. Patiently. Very patiently. 😂🍑 🔍 What I'm Watching Now At this point, my biggest question is incredibly simple: How long is Passion Fruitz actually going to take? We're entering week 9 from seed. We've been watching flowering signs for around three weeks. And she's still moving at her own wonderfully frustrating pace. But here's the thing... I'm no longer annoyed by it. I'm fascinated. Because eventually, she will have to reveal where this story is going. Will she suddenly accelerate? Will the flower sites begin developing more rapidly? Will she remain the slowest girl in the room all the way through? I honestly don't know. And that's exactly why I'm enjoying her. 🍑 Beauty Doesn't Have a Schedule Sometimes we get so focused on timelines that we forget to look at the plant itself. Passion Fruitz may be behind the others in flowering development. But look at her. She's beautiful. Beautiful colour. Beautiful leaves. Beautiful structure. Healthy growth. And a phenotype that has already given us a completely different story from almost everything else in the room. She's not late. She's just writing a different calendar. And I'm perfectly happy to keep turning the pages. 🔮 Looking Ahead So what happens next? Honestly... we wait. 😂 I want to see whether this slow transition finally begins accelerating. I want to see the flowering sites become more defined. I want to see whether her impressive structure translates into equally impressive flower development once she finally decides to commit. And most importantly, I want to continue documenting her exactly as she is. No forcing. No unnecessary intervention. No trying to make Passion Fruitz become another phenotype. She's Passion Fruitz. And apparently, Passion Fruitz takes her sweet time. 💚 The Girl Who Makes Us Wait There are plants in this project that make you excited because they're explosive. There are plants that impress you because they're enormous. There are plants that surprise you with their colours or aromas. And then there's this girl. She makes you wait. And wait. And wait. 😂🍑 But every time I look at her, I find another detail worth appreciating. The leaves. The structure. The colour. The development. The potential.
