I feel like I could actually wait another week or 2 but want to have some Xmas gift for friends so that clock is ticking. Easily 10% amber trichs at the moment and will likely get more with full light and no water for the next couple of days. Harvest coming right up!

Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

Great to be able to let a plant go, little care and then get a gift of some tremendous looking bud. Can't wait to smoke test but for now I'm happy with day 3 of drying and the amazing smell is still intact. 😁

Day 35: Another week passes for these ladies who have been stacking up the buds and turning some nice pistils out to add to their bulk and appearance. FFT#1 Has kept her small stature status but has some very nice smelling sweet buds to play with . I have been under watering these girls I think so have upped their moisture levels a little. They have responded fairly well and look a little more perky for it. FFT#5 is continuing to impress and putting out some beautiful fat looking colas full of oil when gently squeezed. She is a thirsty girl and absorbs so much of the water very quickly. Her base and stems are very thick and hardy now so she still has a lot of load bearing to do hopefully . FFT#7 Is still out there in front for overall production of buds and mains. Her base is a huge wedge of green and would support my weight I think. lol Another of the hungry girls that drinks everything i throw at her. All of the FFT testers are so impressive here on GD . I look forward to the harvest which I think will be around day 50 , so not long to go before I can begin to guess who we have in the house ?????. have fun Growmies. Here we are today is the chop. The top is ripe while the popcorn buds at this bottom will be used for extractions... This grow has been a breeze. The training was amazing, and as you can see, the final result is absolutely stunning... Kannabia Seeds thank you so much for these fine genetics. The multitude of color hues it's very very eye pleasing ... i just hope I dry her and cure her in the way that she deserves so that I end up with this top notch product that it is right now... i hope everyone is doing well and so are there ladies... So big update ! Entering week 3 of flowering for this beautiful Purple Punch by Barneys Farm ! Ive got to say i am very impressed of the results, hoping i get a medium to high yield with her, as for the Fastbuds mystery seed it is slower but has beautiful traits on the leafs compared to the purple punch, im keeping her to see what will happen ! Happy growing

A pesar de los contratiempos en las primeras fases de crecimiento las plantas han conseguido exprimir todo su potencial y hemos obtenido unas flores de primera calidad repletas de tricomas y un alto porcentaje en thc. Flores con tonos morados y negros hacen que su aspecto sea mas impresionante todavía. Un sabor muy sutil, diferente pero muy agradable digno de paladares expertos. Efecto relajante, placentero, sensación de felicidad, apto para cualquier hora del día. Una gran genética. Totalmente recomendable.

Week 24 October 10 - Daylight 11h : 8h20 / 19h20 Temperatures 14° C to 23/24°C - globally rainy weather during the end of September and beginning October. Rare sunny moment but cool temperatures: best conditions to develop mold or diseases. Even if the plants are in a protected from rain and ventilated area. It’s why I harvested 2 plants ( Break Pad Breath + Flash Back #2 ) before losing the yield destruct by botrytis. Royal Moby and GMO x Zombie Kush are still flowering. RM: interesting sativa flowering, productive and resilient. Lot of resinous flowers; maybe it will be some seeds inside appearing after an autopollination. No mold for the moment. Impressive refreshing Lemon smell. Ready in 10 days max. GMO x ZK: ending the flowering cycle in a good way: pretty dense flowers, covered by resin. Spicy and flowery aroma. I had to cut a little bud attack by botrytis. Ready soon. Last weeks just add pk13/14 + Bud XL and overdrive + enzymes Start flushing now.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 3 weeks of Flowering Completed 19th March 2020 Hi folks , I hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these trying times. 😷 The Ginger Nut cookie plant might end up needing a new name because she smells like pineapples and other fruitiness. 😛 All of the buds are starting to fatten nicely and have a generous amount of resin being produced. The rainy weather is back but this time instead of it being humid , it is getting cold especially at night. None of this seems to be having any detrimental effects on her but to be safe I put the pot under cover when it's raining. Ph is stable @ 6.4 Soil temp has dropped a little to 18 degrees. **** Now For this weeks Aussie music Video ** Last week I chose Cold Chisel and for this weeks Artist I have chosen Jimmy Barnes , who after leaving Cold chisel began a solo career here in australia.
