So far everything is going great. Girls are are stretching nicely approx 2cm per 24h. It's looking that will cover entire scrog net with these 2 beauties. Simple plan for the week. Training on the net and maybe selective defoliation on week end. Week updates: 20-26 Nov. 20/11 day 43 Girls adapting well to net😁 21/11 day 44 First watering for this week. 2.5 ltr each pot. Runoff approx 200-300ml from each. Runoff Ph Xena 5.9 Athena 6.0. 23/11 day 46 It's seems that they stretched at least an inch overnight 😁 absolutely love my 🍌💜👊 girls. 25/11 day 48 Second watering for this week. Approx. 3L each 🤤 runoff 150-200ml. 26/11 day 49 Athena was stretching so much that decided for sort of heavier selective defoliation and cleared good bit under the net. Xena is at the same stage of flowering as sister but she is still much smaller, branches are shorter and tinner, will wait bit longer before go any heavier on her. Was able to nicely relocate longer branches of Athena all over the net. Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. Here’s the full mix (all at 1 ml/L): • Plagron Power Buds – Bud stimulator to support mid-flower. • Plagron Green Sensation – All-in-one bloom booster with PK, sugars, and micronutrients to push flower development. • Plagron Sugar Royal – Amino-acid-rich formula to help boost energy and aroma production. • Aptus Regulator – For plant strength, nutrient efficiency, and stress resistance. • Aptus CalMag Boost – Maintaining balanced calcium and magnesium levels under high growth rates. The idea is to test how the Plagron additives perform alongside Aptus products. So far, the results look promising. Training & Canopy Management No heavy training, just gentle leaf tucking. Large fan leaves are being bent or tucked under branches so light can reach the bud sites without removing too much foliage. This keeps the plant energy flowing while opening up the canopy naturally. Environment • Day Temp: ~26°C • Humidity: ~67% • VPD: ~1.10 kPa (not textbook perfect, but the plants are adapting beautifully) • pH: ~6.5 • Soil Moisture: Letting it dry down to ~19% before watering, sometimes even closer to 9% in hotter moments. Lighting & Gear The girls are thriving under the Future of Grow LED fixtures, with the filtered, even spectrum keeping the canopy happy. I’ve also introduced an automated irrigation system in the tents, still testing whether to fully hand over watering duties to the system or keep a hybrid approach with some hand-watering for closer control. Extras & Comfort Yes, I had a little fun with the camera this week, a casual photo session in the "studio" (plants only in their natural “outfits”), and a special shout-out to Zamnesia for their incredibly comfortable gear. Think rugby-polo style shirts, perfect for long hours in the grow or behind the camera. What to Expect Next Week • Expect: First signs of full flower set, with more defined pistils and the earliest stacking patterns starting to show. You may also see a slowdown in vertical growth as the plants redirect more energy to flower production. • Not to Expect: Heavy trichome development just yet, it’s still a bit early for full resin production, though sugar leaves may start to sparkle. • Keep an Eye On: Environmental stability. With humidity in the upper 60s, watch for microclimate pockets that could encourage mold once flowers start stacking. Closing Reflection From seed to now, this run has been a fast, exciting climb. A short veg, an early flip, and now a careful mix of trusted Aptus products with new Plagron additives, it’s been an experiment in precision and adaptability. Es el resultado del cruce de 2 variedades me gustan bastante, por lo que se imaginarán lo expectante que estaba por este nuevo ciclo. Me gustó y disfruté mucho viendo el desarrollo de esta planta, esta vez no quise entrenarla (LST, topping) para ver como se desarrollaba y la verdad no me decepcionó, quizás hubiera esperado más producción pero sin duda que la calidad de las flores vale totalmente la pena en desmedro del rendimiento. Flores compactas y poco aireadas completamente repleta de resina dulce y muy frutal. Totalmente recomendable para los que disfrutan de humos dulces, frutales, cremosos y con notas a frutos secos, ¡un lujo! Gracias a Sweet Seeds por darme la oportunidad de cultivar estas 3 novedades que la verdad son unas maravillas que sin duda volveré a cultivar. Será hasta la próxima, buenos humos!

Starting to see some purple on some of the leaves and I smell them every time I open up the tent . Just giving them regular ph water now and waiting for the harvest. Older leaves are also fading yellow .

Wow jus wow overall so amazed with how she turned out. Frosty as ever a beast to have to trim. I wish I would have grown so many more I will deff be popping more of these beauties more very soon she’s just wow.

Gone to 1.3 EC. Flowers developing in length. Got some issues with heat during the week. The weather here is increasingly hot and I don't have active cooling in my home. Tried to keep temps down but with the temps outside the tent at 25+ celsius is hard. They don't seem to like it much. Looks like they have trouble taking up nutrition.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. everything is going quite well, there were problems with lack of potassium, but that error has already been fixed :) the girl has already started sugar leaves :)
