I also upgraded to an oscillating fan which I hung to free up grow space. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I bumped my VPD up to account for leaf temp. The autopots are working. They just increased their (self feeding) appetite - up from .3 gallon a day to .8 gallons a day. This weeks accomplishments: Dehumidifier venting tuning Filled each scrog grid with at least one cola Stabilize temp, humidity and VPD. Stretched trellis with pvc frame Better oscillating fans for top and bottom airflow This week to-do By Monday evening, I have to install two more autopots - I’m still hand feeding the gelatos. I’m going on vaca, so we’ll see how this turns out. It’s day 1 of week 7 flower. She’s looking a little hungry today. Last week I reduced the feed as I had a little nute burn, the general appearance of the plant is looking slightly lighter in colour, so this week I’ll add back the extra 0.5 ml of each nute. Three more feeds of 1.5 l then on to the plain water.

Bueno, para no perder a nadie, el sistema que manejo es con dos indoors en paralelo. Uno en flora y otro creciendo la madre. A la madre la hago crecer hasta sacarle esquejes. Luego pasan al otro indoor, la madre y los esquejes, y ahí comienza la floración. Y ahí mismo comienza la nueva madre en el indoor pequeño. La variedad es de un banco argentino que no sé si sigue existiendo. Se llama "kali seeds" y la variedad es superhaze. Que en teoría tiene unas 10 semanas de floración. Día 01. Puse la planta para obligarme a terminar el prototipo. En este caso decidí usar madera de palets y algunas otras cosas que encontré en la calle. Ya casi termino todo, pero me falta armar los cierres. No voy a hacer puertas, dado que no está centrado, así que uso una tela de microfibra que ayuda a opacar mucho y era mas barata que el blackout. Ademas es impermeable y me sirve para un nuevo mecanismo de seguridad para fugas que quiero implementar. Es bastante simple, pero me soluciona mucho. Hoy no hay mucho más que mostrar. Cuando lo haya terminado voy a ir mostrando como va quedando. No me voy a enroscar con los tsp. Voy a poner lo que use aca. Ahora puse un litro de agua con un poco menos de 1g. de Feeding Grow de Greenhouse. Al menos por ahora, ya que tengo que comprar medidores porque los míos ya no dan confianza. Día 4. Ya estoy terminando de acomodar el indoor. Lo forré con refractario e instalé las "puertas" que en realidad son telas tipo blackout, pero mucho más finitas. Me falta terminar de ordenar la electricidad para que cada sector tenga su timer. Van a ser 3 timer diferentes. Por un lado van a ir luces y ventilaciones de flora (12hs). Por otro lado bombas de aire, bomba de agua y probablemente vientos de floración (15 min/hr). Y por último luz y ventilación del modulo de madres (18hs). Hice el cambio del depósito, a uno de 5 litros, ya que los próximos 10 dias pienso intentar mantener la misma solución (mantuve la proporción 1g/L de feeding grow). La planta tuvo un ataque de una plaga que fue a sus primeras hojas. Por suerte en el momento puse tierra de diatomeas y parece haberse detenido. Pero se pueden ver los amarillos en las puntas. No me preocupa, dado que en hidroponia esos problemas se resuelven y la planta se recobra enseguida. Ahora igual habrá que ir monitoreando, dado que me había olvidado de desinfectar el indoor, cosa que hice luego de este ataque. Tengo fé que llegando al mes y medio de crecimiento, ya esté en condiciones de cortar unos esquejes. Día 07. Por el momento el crecimiento viene rápido cómo suele ser en hidroponia. En unos días le voy a estar haciendo el corte apical. La ansiedad me viene ganando, pero sigo con fé. Esta semana tengo que comprar un par de aditivos y medidores que me están faltando. Pero ya está todo encaminado.

Week 2 of flower

Those colours are so beautiful, the forbidden nectar is turning totally purple in the moment. Her orange smell is incredible. Kush Pop Clone is producing insane dense buds in these days, thed are also turning a little bit purple. dehumidifier is a must have. The Rainbow Triangle seems to be the latest plant. She also produces very nice buds

Just trying to get back to normal life after the Thomas fire. I believe I have two phenotypes of some gorilla glue lineage as the seed came from a very tasty dispensary quarter. Even though the little ugly plants look grotesque, they are loaded with bud sites. I have photos and videos and notes of the past few weeks so I will try to back annotate. Gradually ramped light down from 18 hours to 12 after power outages due to the fire, and it was about good time to flip anyway. It is so much easier to control temperature during the winter in my space. The lights keep the space at a pretty steady 74 F. I haven’t pushed PPM and am keeping Ph in the 6-6.8 range. I’m using peony rings as support and to spread a little but I am not training for a perfectly flat canopy as I had excellent popcorn nugs in my last grow even with the lights over 2x further than optimal. Defoliated the lower branches but I am not defoliating aggressively, but will continue to remove any withering leaves. Sorry for the slow updates. The fire has been pretty traumatic for my city and myself, and I’m just getting back to normal life. My home, family and pets are safe, and the fire is mostly contained. Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. The Purple Urkle has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. So we are at 8 very small branches growing my program for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16 wait a few days and move on to flowering. 16 Tops as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. You are going strong from the beginning there was a bit of a shortage but as I explain this week during the topping everything changes. We are in competitive days, the world lives the competition in a lively way and so if someone were to ask me or were interested which is the best of the photoperiodic plants I have inside for now I would say the Purple Urkle. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the tops to split them, we always take care not to damage the new branches in growth. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and perfectly fit at this point and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now they are a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and from the start and add nitrogen only if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what he does. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. My low EC + 40% Power of my Sanlight lead to yellowing of the leafs - after raising to EC 1.2+ problem was fixed. In hindsight i raised the EC too slowly which i'll fix for the next run.
