There was mixed weather again all week. She took some heavy rain and I therefore skipped the nutrients for a few days because she was soaked in water all the time. This caused a slight nutrient deficit that I hope to compensate the next few days with regular feedings. I had to take some leafs of that were yellow... But all In all she is doing fine and she is gaining flower mass. And she starts to smell really nice.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. An Tag 23 habe ich das LST neu angepasst um die kleine niedrig und buschig zu halten. An Tag 24 habe ich fast alle großen Fächerblätter entfernt und das LST erneut angepasst. An Tag 25 erneut LST angepasst. An Tag 27 wurden zu viele der unteren Triebe mit Schatten bedeckt, so dass ich einiger der Blätter wegnehmen musste.

Ok so she had her final flush today , I’m going to let her dry out then crop, all photos from iPhone , two of them smell the fruitiest of fruity , one of them is a lot more resin smelling , this was fun , I reckon there might be a few ounces here , certainly not on the scale of DWC but 500 times easier , some quality smoke here and for the budget probably the best value , I spent about £5 on the compost , , electric was 15 p a day , so about £13 , tent was £30 ,led was £100 , fan and filter £50 , fan in tent £12 , water from tap 50p , I think she needs a little bit of cal mag in the grow , and some dragon force at the end , I think there is as least 3 ounces , so a pretty good ROI for a budget . And You can clearly see that repotting affects final size , the biggest one was repotted first . Next go I’m going to plant straight into final pot Ps yes she is falling over , ....

D50. The start of the second week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The girls stretched quite a bit in the first week, and I'm curious how much they will stretch this week. I did some additional defoliation, removing leaves and branches that didn't make it above the scrog. ------------------------------ D51. The first girl shows early signs of a deficiency, which I suspect is a lack of magnesium. I guess the recent stretch is the cause, but I think the stretch is slowing down. I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water with 1.5 teaspoons of Epsom salt and a foliar spray with Epsom salt. That should hopefully take care of any lack of magnesium. I also calibrated my Hygrometer since I've noticed lately that it seemed a bit off. Sure enough, it was off by 7.9%. ------------------------------ D54. The tent is blowing up! The girls look great, and the first buds have started forming. However, they have more than tripled in size in almost two weeks, and I'm slowly running out of room in the tent. I've raised the lights as far as they go, and I hope that will be sufficient as I'm going out of town for a week, and the girls will be left to their own devices. The chlorosis hasn't spread, so I think the Epsom salt helped. Other than that, there's not much to report. ------------------------------

The week went again pretty uneventful, other than me not getting the tip burn under control. I have further reduced base nutrients, removed the green sensation (simply because I ran out ;)) and increased pk 13/14 further. The buds continue to develop new pistils and continue to swell. The trichomes look mostly milky at this stage, I will however wait until I have around 20%-25% amber. I have cut a bud from the lower canopy (pictures attached), which is quite solid to touch and had a wet weight of roughly 1,2 gr and is currently drying. Overall the bud structure on this plant looks amazing the buds a re super dense, nicely clustered around the stems and she looks like she'll be a joy to trim.

Week 19, day 6. Second week after switching to 12/12 lighting. Nr 1 is 155 cm tall from top of soil and Nr 2 is 171 cm. All video and pics is taken when the girls have hade 11.5 h of no lights and just got watered. The stretch on these girls was incredible the past 2 weeks after switching to 12/12 lighting. So fare this has gone smooth as silk and no problems at all despite temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius for the last 45 days. I have manage the heat by having between 85-95 % of RH in the room all the time. And this genetics from DinaFem seeds is awesome, i hope i will get a massive harvest of strong indica medicine.

Fattening week !! Alternating water/nutes irrigations... Gave the plant Top Bud, 2 times this week, using 0.5ml/l each one, but switching BIG ONE AND TOP BUD so: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / --------------- Seems like @growdiaries did not add Top Bud to the database..So i let you the description below.. Top Bud : is a fattening fertilizer for the flowering stage. It maximum concentration of phosphorus and potassium and its absence of nitrates make it an ideal fertilizer for fatterning, while respecting the good taste of the crop. It is also rich in amino acids that benefit the development of flowers. Dilute at the rate of: 0.5-1ml per 1L of water once a week. Apt to: Its use in hydroponic substrate and coconut fiber. --------------
