I think the plants finished their stretch this week. The buds are now getting bigger and some trichomes have appeared on the leaves next to the buds 😎 The smell is also stronger than last week. I have some small issues with the plants. Yellow/brown tips for the Blackberry Cake and the Cashew Kush and yellowing leaves for the Jack Herer. The BioBloom seems to slow down the issues so I hope it will be alright. The previously broken branch of the Cashew Kush was not flowering so I removed it. How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. I brougt them outside when the weather Was good enough. Sie stams got mutch more resistent. Will transplant them to soll in a few days. Night temp. is not lower than 7 degree Celsius. Got a little smell when you put your nose very close to the top leaves, but nothing to intensive.

Fast version B is doing good. Everything is looking good. No real issues are to be found. Week six of White Widow. She is probably about ready to flip to flower now. I am going to hold off another week or two until I have everything in order. I did some defoliation and cut some lower branches to root clones. This thing is bushy as fuuuuu! I am doing some LST on lower branches and will SCROG as best I can when I flip to flower. She is happy and healthy right now. No issues. Humidity in the tent has been a bit high so I may have to get a dehumidifier in the tent soon.

Moving forward, blooming nice, this second gen is taking form and gaining weight. A few weeks and we will have a nice harvest. Tent is nicely populated and filled. Once i have setup the “semi scrog” it has conformed to it in a couple of days and did a massive difference. It really opens the canopy and create a huge surface to take advantage from the light as opposed to letting it go naturally. I’m defining the technique as semi scrog because i did not setup the net in a traditional early way knitting in veg... It was done later.

This plant is gorgeous! Love the shape pf the leaves, she's a happy strong lady, which I'm sure she's gonna make me very proud and happy this season, she has performed amazing so far, let's see how this lady keeps developing! Follow me guys! It's gonna be nice to watch this diary!

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. as I still had time and I had two seeds given by a friend I decided to give them life. and as you can see these two girls already had the right to normal vases !! ehehehe 🤣🤣

SEMANA 2 - DÍA 8 Tengo experiencia con la gama PURE AUTO de la casa, por lo que puedo afirmar que en todas las tandas que hago, alguna sufre malformación genética, y eso influye en el proceso. En esta ocasión, le agregue al sustrato un 50% de coco y estoy regando como de costumbre, con lo mínimo (50ml), a ver si soy capaz de estirar la planta a 1 metro. I harvested Dorel and will soon do #4 as well. I had to as I don’t have the space to dry all 3 at once. Tbh Dorel didn’t look so good today, although I couldn’t see much amber trichromes she looks a bit overdone. Will probably do #4 this weekend, and Ozz the 2 following wees

After going back and forth about the harvest, I decided to give her another week. It feels like the right balance between playing it safe and giving the plant the chance to fully express herself. The flowers keep maturing, the trichomes continue to develop and the terpene profile becomes more intense. The buds are getting heavy enough that several branches are now resting on the net for support. Without it, they would probably start collapsing under their own weight. The finish line is close now. Time to stay patient and let nature do the rest.
