There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! 😍😍⛰️ Day 56. Hi, I'm back. I'll give you the photos of day 55. During the absence of the plants, they faced a root problem. I solved this problem by washing the pots and reducing the tds of the substrate to 500 ppm and using Azos in 2. Cycles.

It's week four of flowering, and Blue is doing her thing, slowly developing her buds. Outside, the temperatures are slowly rising to around 17°C during the day. This means that during the dark phase, the temperature in the tent no longer falls below 19°C, so the Calmag can be transported more easily. Keep it IZI 💚

Umstellung auf 12/12 erfolgte diese Woche. Die Pflanzen haben sich gut vom CalMag-Mangel erholt und zeigen bereits Vorblüte. Wachstum ist kräftig, Blattfarbe gesund. Das SCROG-Netz wurde abgesenkt, die Triebe werden weiterhin sanft unter das Netz geführt, um eine gleichmäßige Canopy zu erreichen. Zwei Pflanzen sind etwas höher. Aktuell wird mit je 1ml/L BioGrow BioBloom und Calmag gedüngt (PH 6.2). Tag 21 Blüte gibt es dann ein ordentliches lollipopping und eine moderate Entlaubung. Soweit bin ich sehr zufrieden. Bin gespannt auf den Stretch, letzten Grow haben die Frosted Guavas sich nicht stark gestreckt. Allerdings sind die Bedingungen aktuell besser. Keine Trauermücken, effizientere Lampe und stabileres Klima.

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Mandarin dreams! These 5 ladies got chopped down this week, the three pheno 1 strains have nice dense buds, very sticky! One pheno 2 is very fluffy, airy buds and the other pheno 2, is someplace in between, not rock hard, but close to it. Last time I'll be growing this strain, she was easy to grow, but not a smoke I enjoy, the indica hits harder as the buds cure and I'm not that interested in couch lock. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight.

Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. The ladies are turning to flower now. Going to be a rainy day or 2, so updating the dairy a little early. Girls are all nice and healthy going into flower. Aromas are very strong from these ladies. Can't wait for the full on flower, to see how stinky these can get. AMS has some pretty strong genetics. I have grown many strains from many different providers, but AMS is never a disappointment. Highly recommend them if your looking for seriously potent weed...

Still stretching 🙄 but I think she's almost done! I will say, she's exactly the shape I was after, and that main cola is going to be my biggest indoor cola for sure. Exciting times ahead!

Ladies and gentlemen today's day 80 and this girl, it's starting to really look beautiful... I gave her water that was 42 degrees fahrenheitat just as I have my other runtz and she's starting to really show sim color.. this has been a breeze from beginning to now and uh, I definitely recommend it . I mean look at her...beautiful.. Thank you Kannabia for the opportunity I really appreciate it.This looks like it's going to be a good one.And I really, really, look forward to it.. No more feedings from here on out. Just ice cold water, maybe one maybe two more times give her the old 48 hrs of dark and call it a day. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Sanlight EVO 3-60 at 80% Day 85: watered with rain water and 1 ml/l Cal Mag 👌🏻 Day 87: Defoliated and watered with rain water and 1 ml/l Cal Mag 👌🏻 Day 90: looking good and watered again🌊. Watered with rain water and 1ml/l Powerzyme, 1 ml/l Hesi Boost, 1 ml/l Cal Mag, 1 ml/l Alg a mic and 1 ml/l Green Sensation. EC at 1.6 and a pH of 6.4 .

I've started using 0.6 "grams" of peter's per gallon of water. Not 0.6 mL. I don't know how to enter that. Before I started defoliating they were each drinking a full gallon of water per day. A couple days I misjudged and opened the tent to weeping lower branches. Now that I've defoliated, they each drink somewhat less. Pistols are still yellow. I'm assuming they'll turn brown/red before they're ready to harvest? My eyes are so bad that even with a scope I'm not sure I can spot cloudy trichromes turning amber. I'm not even sure I can tell clear from cloudy. I don't think they're getting close yet though, maybe 3 or 4 more weeks? I put the undersized screen up only because a few colas started falling over. I don't like that I can no longer rotate them but with the defoliation, I can see the back side. These were freebies from lucious genetics. Photo periods. I don't know what to expect from them. Until recently I hadn't smoked since the 80s. I'm sure they'll do the trick. :)

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

03/13/2022 Love the colors on Grape Skunk #1 others are not as purple, again i forgot Biscotti Skunk and lemon og. 03/14/2022 Uploading Biscotti Skunk pic's I'm really loving 3 particular girls this run,all plants are exposed to PW intentionally I need girls that can take PW with no issues and three plants are spotless. The first is the only Biscotti Skunk that was female of 5 cloning for outside run but will do great in basement without PW issues. The second is lemon og spotless, and the third is the grape skunk thats got most color the second tallest of the grape skunks, cloning for testing in New England zone 7 should get at least one if not all 3 to finish before cold sets in.

Week 11 - Lemon Cherry cookies Auto the smell on these enhanced by 60% in the last couple days. This will be the last week of flower I’m going to let the pot dry another day. Then it will sit in 48hrs of darkness before I karate chop them. This has be the hardest decision on when to chop. It’s very unique how both plants look very different The purple one smells exactly like lemon cherry candy while the multi colored one smells like a lemon Cookie. Happy growing good luck everyone !

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.
