What's up guys! Quick update for this week. I decided to give the Gorilla Melon a nice cut to keep her height fully under control, and honestly, I'm pretty happy with her current structure. She’s shaping up beautifully. I'll see how she develops over the next two weeks and make a final decision at the end of July whether to cut her one last time or just let her ride. I'm still a bit anxious about that massive stretch coming up in August, so my main goal right now is keeping her in a compact shape that will comfortably fit inside the greenhouse. To make sure she has enough power for the road ahead, I pushed a third Biotab straight into the soil today. Those thrips are unfortunately still buzzing around the place, but the Gorilla Melon seems to be way more resilient compared to her greenhouse-mate. My Orange Sherbet Auto right next to her, which is already in late flower, is definitely having a much harder time dealing with the pests. To get ahead of the problem, I’m going to release another round of biological pest control soon. The goal is to have everything thrips-free the time the Gorilla Melon finally flips into flower (hopefully). Enjoy the peace of growing, guys! ✌️

Day 46, 30th of October 2020: Crazy... I went on holiday only for 6 days so my friend looked after them.... Guys... They fucking grew 20 cm it is crazy look at them I had to do LST and now giving them darkness one day and switch the lamp to 12/12.... They went totally crazy.... The smell is coming as well I bought extraction fan system with filter as well.... It is not a question all good and everything will continue the same way well from next week pump a lot of nutrition ;) Cheers!

Starting 9.week i think i will end it in end of this week. Now i am flushing from begining 8. week.

Just feed the girls some compost tea and overall they look healthy growing stronger by the day... she has a lot of bud sites and is getting thicker by the day

Flowering has really taken off. Kolas are thickening up and smelling amazing... The plants are still a little short. I think I may have stunted them in veg, possibly by giving them some bloom nutrients too early. Was a recommendation from "Mr. Canuck's Grow" (not sure that it was a good one).... Brewing a fungal-dominated compost tea for flower rn, going to administer tomorrow and show the results next week... also trellis didn't make much difference with the uneven canopy, maybe I installed it too late 🤷‍♂️

🌿 Devil Cookie - Top Heavy & Tied Up! 🍪❄️ Let's go! Welcome to the new week for Devil Cookie. 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Canopy Support: The colas have swollen to the point where she is incredibly top-heavy. She absolutely cannot carry her own weight anymore. I had to string up the branches and hang her directly from the light fixture to prevent the stems from snapping under the heavy load. You can clearly see the extreme lean and the support wires. Trichome Maturation: The macro shots show extreme resin coverage across the sugar leaves and calyxes. Trichome heads are fully milky with amber starting to push through consistently. Almost all pistils have receded and turned a deep orange. 💧 Next Steps: With the branches securely tied to the light, the focus is strictly on monitoring the trichome ripeness. We are in the final harvest window now. I will continue checking the heads daily to nail the exact chop time. Let's keep it growing! 🌱💨

The main issue with Gorilla Glue #4 is that the strain grows so fast, you need to prune your plants regularly. I had a light-stress issue in week 9, it stunted the growth of this one plant and it is taking approximately 1 more week to reach harvest stage. Great grow. will do again!

FBT 2307 has been killing it. She got some nice big colas on her. I switched to ph water a few days ago. I will be looking to harvest in about 10 days roughly. I did add orange essential oil to ph water. Dunno if it will effect anything. She grew great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light in the Athena blended line nutrition. Thank you Mars Hydro. Last week of veg now , let’s see what she can do . I was munching on a fresh leaf and it tasted exactly like orange candy so keen to smoke that taste

At the end of the 12th week I decided to chop. The plant grown a lot filling my entire tent, il she gives to me about 500g (or more) of wet harvest. The smell is very intense and the buds are sticky a lot. I put the branches into the tent with the dehumidifier, fan and extractor 24 hours on. Update: two weeks after the first harvest I've decided that it is time to harvest the second plant that I transferred outdoor when I discovered that she was showing signs of illness. It's buds are not so fat as the ones of the other plant, but they are rich of trichomes. Harvest today, light trimming and put the branches into a box.
