These colas are even frostier than bigger ones. I didn’t get them so frosty on my last growth. I still have to give her Overdrive since the soil is still wet, but will do it in a few days. Die Woche verging wie im Fluge. Purple Punch Auto glitzert in den Morgenstunden wunderschön und verströmt einen sehr angenehmen Duft. Momentan duftet diese hier von unseren vier Pflänzchen am stärksten. Die Blüten schwellen nach einem krassen Stretch an. Das intensive LST und das Entfernen störender Blätter hat dazu geführt, dass die Blüten sehr gleichmäßig Sonnenlicht bekommen und später in der Blüte die Luft gut zirkulieren kann. Zwei Tage der Woche standen die Pflanzen unter der Markise, es hat über Stunden heftig geregnet. Nachdem ich meine Grashüpfer letzte Woche umgesiedelt habe, der Fraß ging mir zu weit, sehen die nachwachsenden Pistillen wieder gut aus. Vorher wurden die von den Hüpfern gerne angeknabbert. Das Gießen läuft wie gewohnt nach Gefühl. An heißen Sonnentagen bis zu 1,5 Liter. Soweit die News von unserem Balkon, die nächsten Wochen werden vergehen und dann ist die erste Saison als Weed Gärtner auch schon wieder beendet.

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

On day 1 I adjusted the PH from 6.6 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 13.75" away from light. On day 2 I adjusted the PH from 6.4 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 12.5" away from light. On day 3 the PH is 6.2. The tallest cola is 11.5" from the light. On day 4 I didn't take data points long day... On day 5 the rez PH is 6.2. the tallest cola is 10" from the light. On day 6 the rez PH is 6.0. The tallest cola is 9.5" from the light. I defoliated heavily to bring in more light and airflow. On day 7 The tallest cola is 9" from the light. I mixed up a new rez.

Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Week is progressing normally it appears that A#2 has some white powdery looking substance on its leaves, hope it's nothing serious. They only needed watering twice this week.

This week was another great week, with not much work being needed in the tent. All I did this week was minor defoliation to remove yellowing leaves on the bottom of the plants not receiving good light. Buds are continuing to swell up nicely, with a roughly even spread in size across the canopy. There is however a slight gap in my canopy which would be avoided for optimal results. The strongest plants are still the same, with Topped and LST in 1st, Mainlined in 2nd, and LST only in last place.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. The new strain profile indicates a whopping 29%THC with mainly sativa uplifting, euphoric, social effects with sweet fruity flavors which I love and enjoy. I am dropping a fast buds tester FBT2308. The seed was scuffed, and placed in water in dark. In 24 to 48 hours I will plant in Rockwool, and dome.
