Week 7, day 28 of Bloom

Took some more microscope shots. Since I had 1x Medical Mass (1:1 THC:CBD), and 1x Pineapple Express with mostly THC, I wanted to maximize benefits from both. I was not sure when to have maximum amounts of both THC and CBD. I figured I couldn't go entirely wrong if I waited until half of the trichomes had amber and the other half milky. When is CBD AND THC the highest? When to harvest THC:CBD 1:1 plants? I'd like to know that.

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

WEEK 7 - Day 51 - 05/21/20 Rickey Cricket is thriving in his little garbage can grow! 😵 The training has allowed the lower branches to reach up during the flower stretch and should get a fat little stocky bud-ball of a plant out of it. With the small amount of soil I can tell it's going to be a quick drinker. Nice and open now and need it for the small space of the grow. Very glad I have two more seeds to drop in real pots in the future because I'm excited to see what this OG Auto Chem-Dawg could do not grown in a coffee can and purposefully mangled it to match a TV character conceptually 😂 Pistils are coming in now and the stretch is still going so I'd say stretch will be done by next week with the main sites starting to sprout 🙌 -- Stay Safe! 😷 Thanks for checking in! Hello friends, so after almost 6 weeks of flower her end has come. Pistils were mostly all brown and curl in trichomes where almost all milky, I think topping it made it finished so much faster and it's something I will not do again with this strain. However the harvest was incredible just for this one plant. As you can see total wet was over 400 grams with some branches so I'm guessing maybe about 300 grams of just wet bud. Will come back to update dry weight as well as taste and effect on her. 10/28/2021 Day 85- Finally harvested the other two plants and WOW the smell is super strong and frosty buds everywhere. So after adding this wet weight to the first I came up with a total of 1260 grams wet weight. Will dry for about ten days and will update total dry weight.

At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!

A very quiet week, little work. It's an indica-dominant variety with short, compact plants and wide branches (a bushy structure), which explains its slow growth. This week we stopped using the grow fertilizer and started using the bloom fertilizer. I also got rid of the humidifier; space is limited and I don't give it that much importance in the plant room anyway. As you can see from the temperature and humidity chart, something went wrong; I forgot to plug in the heaters :-( Una semana muy tranquila, poco trabajo. Es una variedad con dominancia índica y su estructura son plantas bajitas, compactas y con ramas anchas (estructura arbustiva) y por ello su crecimiento lento. Esta semana dejamos de abonar con grow y empezamos con el bloom. También me deshice del humidificador, el espacio es limitado y en flora no le doy tampoco tanta importancia. Como se puede observar en la tabla de temperatura y humedad algo no fue bien, el caso que olvidé enchufar los calefactores :-(

Transplant went well today. The girl got three weeks in the tiny pot and barely grew any roots. Surprising honestly. Gotta water more thoroughly I guess. But all is well and will start the beginning process of training soon. Lights at 40% power. Leaves starting to brown. First thought was over fertilizing but guessing calcium. Did add powdered oyster shells to dirt mix but needing alot more.

I emptied the reservoir, there was 2750ml left. I made a 15L new feed and added it to the reservoir.
