We are watching trichomes every day and it looks like it is almost ready so we are thinking of harvesting next week. It is already possible to see some amber trichomes. Unfortunately it seems that we are not going to harvest the expected amount, the buds were not very dense and fat, apparently the buds are just small leaves with trichomes.

🌱 Day 50 - First Day of Week 8 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! My plant is doing well, and it’s amazing to see visible progress every few hours. 🌱✨ The buds are in full throttle, and I feel like the plant is now needing more water as the pots are drying out faster. 💧 Watering: I’m still watering with 1L every two days. 💦 The dosage of BioBizz Grow and BioBizz Bloom has been increased according to the BioBizz feeding schedule. The pH of the water remains constant at 6.0. ⚖️💧 Temperature & Humidity: Luckily, the weather in Germany is cooling down, so I no longer have to deal with temperatures of up to 30°C in the tent. 🌡️🍂 I’m expecting temperatures to settle between 18-23°C now that we’re in September, and humidity should stabilize around 50-55%. This will create perfect conditions for the upcoming drying process. 🍃✨ Plant Health: The plant is looking good overall. 🌿 I did have some calcium and magnesium deficiency symptoms recently, but I’ve managed to get that under control with CalMag. 💪 I’m continuing to carefully remove any leaves that are noticeably blocking light to the buds and hindering photosynthesis. 🍃✂️ Vibes: Every day, my plant still enjoys an hour of Lo-fi Jazz music. 🎶🌱 I think it helps set the perfect growing atmosphere. 🎷 🌱 Day 56 - Last Day of Week 8 🌱 Final Feeding: Today marks the last day of the fourth flowering week and the last day I’ll be feeding the plant. 🌿💧 From now on, the plant will receive only water for the final 14 days to flush out the remaining nutrients from the soil. 🚿 As a beginner, I’m unsure if two weeks without nutrients will be enough for the plant to finish properly. There’s a part of me that worries about potentially wasting its full potential by skipping nutrient periods. 🤔🌱 However, I’ve decided to stick with the plan—after 14 days of just water, I’ll harvest the plant. ✂️🍃 Humidity & Temperature: This week, the weather has cooled down significantly, and I no longer have to struggle with high temperatures. 🌡️🍂 The temperature ranges from 19-23°C during the day, and humidity sits between 49-56%. I think these are ideal conditions to bring out the purple hues in the buds. 🍇✨ Defoliation & Plant Care: I’ve finished the final defoliation and trimming of the plant this week. 🍃✂️ From now until harvest, I’ll avoid making any more changes or interventions, as I want to keep the plant stress-free and allow the bud production to progress smoothly. 🌱💪 Trichome Observation: As a beginner, I’ve started checking the trichomes this week, but I’m finding it challenging to distinguish between clear and milky trichomes. 🔍💎 I plan to harvest when I see 90% milky and 10% amber trichomes. 🌿✨ I’ll keep you all updated next week, and don’t forget—there are new pictures every day! 📸🌱

Week 8 Update: Transition to Flowering 🌸✨ 🌟 The Flowering Stage Begins 🌟 Welcome to Week 8! Big changes are happening in the grow room. This week marks the official switch from the vegetative stage to the flowering stage. With the light schedule now adjusted to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness, the plants are entering the crucial phase where all the hard work of vegetative growth will start to pay off in the form of buds. 🌼 Flowering Transition 🌼 Light Schedule: The light schedule has been reduced to 12 hours on and 12 hours off, which signals the plants to begin flowering. I'm aiming to maintain a Daily Light Integral (DLI) of around 40 to optimize bud development. Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze 🌞 Responding quickly to the light change, with the first signs of pre-flower pistils emerging. The even canopy from LST will help the plant distribute energy effectively to multiple bud sites. Humboldt Seed Bubba Kush 🌿 This compact, bushy plant is beginning to show signs of entering the flowering stage. Its strong structure is set to support what should be a dense, resinous bud formation. Blueberry Muffin 🥞 Continuing to exhibit robust growth, with the first signs of transition into flowering. The dense frame developed during veg should result in a productive flowering stage. 🌱 Continuing Care 🌱 As the plants transition, I'll be adjusting their care to support this new phase: Nutrient Adjustment: Shifting to a flowering-focused nutrient schedule with increased phosphorus and potassium to support bud formation, while gradually reducing nitrogen. Environmental Control: Monitoring and adjusting temperature and humidity to ideal levels for flowering, ensuring the environment promotes healthy bud development. Training & Defoliation: Continuing LST and selective defoliation to maintain an even canopy and improve light penetration to lower bud sites. 🌸 Looking Forward 🌸 The plants are now in the flowering stage, and this is where the real magic happens. Over the next few weeks, we'll start to see bud sites develop and eventually swell into full, aromatic flowers. End of week 10 - Day 70 / 35 of flower Another good week at the parlour. A lot of hours spent in the tent yoyo-ing the biggest colas. Half way through the week nearly all of them had fallen over so I had a full evening trying to make some space and hanging them up. I messed up a feed at the beginning of the week and over fertilised them with PK which can be seen on some leaves. For the last 3 feeds they've been on only 0.5ml per litre to try and reverse a bit of the damage. After today they come off PK completely and onto the BioGreen X-Blast. Obviously with this being my first grow I have nothing to properly compare too just other diaries. Only 1 or 2 of my friends grow their own medicine but regardless I've never seen weed like this (in person) in my life. The frostiness is next level. Even with the lights on you can see just how many Trichomes these have produced. It's looking like they will only need another 3 weeks. Plan is to carry on following the feed chart for for another 2 weeks and if I see any signs of cloudy Trichs I'll start to flush them untill they are 50/50 cloudy and amber. I really hope these keep going strong. I just cant wait untill I can pack a bong and take a rip of my very own home grown weed!

It was a good week, with some good growth. The ladies have settled in and are a starting to reach up. I’ve been keeping the environment steady at about 78 degrees, and 60-62% humidity. It goes down to about 70 degrees at night. I’ve been watering sparingly still, about 1 cup of water every third day. Near the end of the week they were getting 2 cups and have lasted more than two days without showing they are needing again. I decreased the light schedule to 18 hours, and they seem to be benefiting from the dark cycle, or less DLI. LST will start next week! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

10/2 They made it to their forever pots. Next Saturday we'll be hitting 2 months from sprout and as a whole its been a pleasure to grow these plants. They all are a very healthy green and seem to be happy. Temperatures in the region may have unexpectedly slowed them down (I grow in a basement) because temps have plummeted from around 78 with the lights on to as low as 71! I don't think they like it either. Growth has slowed with it. Never fear, space heater is here. Everything thing needs to be dialed in for the next few weeks because I want explosive growth over the next 21 days. Going to try a SST somewhere in there. Parsing through all this bro science isn't easy but it sure is fun to experiment. It allegedly gives you good root growth and provides crucial enzymes. Almost sounds too good to be true but I'm going to see how it goes regardless. I heard you can use I wide variety of seeds but alpha alpha is the only one I have on hand. Wish me luck. As for the plants: Moby= beast. I'd be a fool not to attempt to clone her. Vigorous grower and responds well to training. Not a demanding eater either, at least so far. Loving this freebie from NASC. Highly recommend them if you're in the northeast US looking for a local seed bank. GZ 1 = steady. Probably the biggest back slide if you want to call it that. Spotted some yellowing on lower leaves but they are shaded by this ones thick canopy. May not even be an issue but we keep an eye on it. Probably the biggest critic of the lowering temperatures because she's slowed down in the past 2 days. Gz2= trooper. She had a rougher upbringing and she's got a far different shape than the other two because of it. But with a little work I'm sure soon both GZ will be indistinguishable from one another. Banana daddy= forgot to take pics of her. Man have I been growing autoflowers all wrong. I may have fed this plant once. Though it should be noted that the soil I put her in was amended with alpha alpha, fish bone meal, and guano. She seems to really enjoy it so far. Not a single yellow leaf. Droopy at times though which is odd. Also some tacoing on new growth that ends up correcting itself as the leaf gets bigger. Double odd. Next time I do an auto run I'm definitely doing much less in terms of feeding and maintenance. Loving your plants too much can be deadly. Starting to figure them out though so I'm happy I did at least one. I'll post in a few days when I water my photos again.

Esa familia, ya estamos a mitad de floración como quien dice finalizando la 4 semana , y es que están cogiendo unos tonos también, esos colores rojos y morados que están entonando😈 Tuve que tuitear las 5 plantas de un armario ya lo visteis y las puntas se dirigen hacia la luz. Cómo podéis observar en las fotos y vídeos. Algunas se sobrealimentaron porque no todas comen igual pero reduci la alimentación solo en esas y ya se está solucionando. Por lo demás , pronto empezaré aplicar el overdrive junto con el bud candy unas semanas más. Las temperaturas en estos indoors son perfectas y la humedad relativa es correcta. Hasta aquí es todo espero que os esté gustando, buenos humos y feliz navidad 💨💨💨

Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 9 May 18– 24 FLOWER 5 Nutrients : 3 gal GH Micro 20 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 15 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 15ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/23 PH 6.6, PPM 1570, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/24 pics & vid Since all 6 gals are getting frosty, I did some trichome pics. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. Week 14 Day 92 (13/11/2020)💧: Great start to the week with watering today and because all the girls are entering their 4th week of flower, I will again be increasing the BioBloom as per the commendations on the watering chart, but since the pH has been increased they are definitely looking great and have enough nutrients between the watering days. So today I gave the girls 4.5 ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5ml of TopMax for 1.5L of water. I think I will be giving the same nutrients for the rest of the week as well. Day 93 (14/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually. The girls are looking amazing as always Day 94 (15/11/2020): I wanted to check the trichomes on the girls today with a loupe to see how they are developing up closer but I have no idea where my loupe is :( Really wanted to look closer at the flowers but will have to find it first to take some close up pictures as well Day 95 (16/11/2020)💧: We watered the girls today and gave them the same nutrients as before. They were watered with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow and 1.5ml of TopMax. I think the TopMax is definitely making the buds fatten up Day 96 (17/11/2020): Took some lovely pictures of the girls today. Was finally able to capture on camera the redness of the flowers (or at least on girl#1). It’s quite difficult to the get the true colours because of the way the camera perceives the light. Day 97 (18/11/2020): Just can’t get enough of the smell of the girls omg they smell so great. It’s kind of a mixture of citrus and spicy at the same time. Cannot wait to taste them Day 98 (19/11/2020)💧: I keep wanting to measure the pH to make sure that it is still above 6.0 but I haven’t had enough time because it takes a while, but I will make sure to measure the pH before the next watering. So as mentioned at the beginning of the week, I will be giving the same nutrients. I watered the girls with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5 of TopMax. So far the girls are looking good and happy with the nutrients. I’m only noticing yellowing leaves at the very bottom because there is not enough light, other than that the leaves seem like all the nutrients are balanced well. Also it looks like have finally stopped stretching length-wise and started focusing on growing the buds because the height is the same as last week. But really amazing progress this week, I’ve included a video of all the girls in the tent as well so it’s easier to see how different they are!
