Keimungsbericht – Mango Cherry Runtz Automatic
Heute startet meine Mango Cherry Runtz Automatic von FastBuds in ihr neues RDWC-Abenteuer.
Für diesen Grow habe ich mich erneut für eine neue Keimmethode entschieden, die mich bereits nach wenigen Stunden vollkommen überzeugt hat.
Die Keimung erfolgte in einem sauberen Marmeladenglas mit Deckel. Das Glas wurde mit einer kleinen Menge Osmosewasser befüllt und mit zwei Tropfen 11,9 % Wasserstoffperoxid ergänzt. Anschließend wurde das Glas verschlossen und auf einer Heizmatte bei konstanten 28 °C platziert.
Die Bedingungen erwiesen sich als nahezu perfekt. Bereits nach nur 8 Stunden zeigte die Mango Cherry Runtz eine kräftige und gesunde Keimwurzel von etwa 1 cm Länge.
Ein derart schneller Start lässt die Vorfreude auf den gesamten Grow noch weiter steigen. Die Kombination aus sauberem Wasser, konstanter Wärme und zusätzlicher Sauerstoffversorgung scheint optimale Voraussetzungen für eine erfolgreiche Keimung geschaffen zu haben.
Nach diesem vielversprechenden Auftakt zieht die Mango Cherry Runtz nun in ihr neues RDWC-System ein. Dort wird sie mit dem Plagron Hydro Düngeschema versorgt und darf ihr volles Potenzial unter hydroponischen Bedingungen entfalten.
Ich freue mich darauf, diese neue FastBuds-Genetik von Anfang an zu begleiten und ihre Entwicklung Woche für Woche zu dokumentieren.

Germination Report – Mango Cherry Runtz Automatic
Today marks the beginning of my Mango Cherry Runtz Automatic journey from FastBuds.
For this grow, I once again decided to use a new germination method that delivered impressive results within just a few hours.
The seed was placed inside a clean glass jar containing a small amount of reverse osmosis water. Two drops of 11.9% hydrogen peroxide were added before sealing the jar. The jar was then placed on a heating mat maintaining a stable temperature of 28°C (82°F).
The conditions proved to be nearly ideal. After only 8 hours, the Mango Cherry Runtz had already produced a healthy taproot measuring approximately 1 cm in length.
Such a rapid start makes me even more excited for the weeks ahead. The combination of clean water, consistent warmth and additional oxygen appears to have provided excellent germination conditions.
Following this promising beginning, the Mango Cherry Runtz is now moving into its new RDWC system, where it will be grown using the Plagron Hydro nutrient line and given every opportunity to reach its full potential.
I am looking forward to documenting this exciting FastBuds genetic from day one and sharing its progress week after week.

Skipped a week in my journal due to travels.
Had my neighbor water my plants.
Having some minor early deficiencies with my photoperiod plants (particularly the chem brulee)... so I decided to go ahead and give everything a solid feeding of Foop Bloom 1, 2 and Sweetener. This is their first ever bottled feeding. Have been running on supersoil and a prayer.
Also top dressed everything and mulched with rice straw to help with the soil drying out a bit too quickly.
Leaves have been yellowing on all three. Mostly relegated to the interior of the plants.
Chem Brulee is looking a bit too yellow overall, as well.
French Macaron is a 66in. Chem Brulee is 56in. Pineapple Meatball is 45in.
I have a sneaking suspicion that my neighbor didn't water them quite enough while I was gone.
Will probably continue with the Foop feedings... probably at least once per week. Don't want to overdo it.
Also top dressed with my flowering top dress mix and mulched all plants with a thin layer of rice straw.
8/4 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap
8/5 Sprayed with Gravenstein Apple FFJ and OHN
8/6 Sprayed with Neem Oil and Castile Soap (this will likely be the last time I spray with Neem Oil, as I don't want residual oils as buds start swelling. Also fed 1/4 strength FOOP to ensure we head off any deficiencies.

😺 Week 4 of flower!! Everyone is looking pretty good but the mainlined plant seems to be locking out calcium again (and they're clawing slightly, this is on me, I was pushing it lol)..its early but we've increased calcium supplements by 3ml, cut all grow solutions and PK feeds consistent ..we'll update on this again midweek.. thanks for reading grow family and happy harvests!💡🌱 😽💨

‖ SHORT VERSION ‖
Some of the girls grew about ~12 inches or ~30 centimeters, this surprised me! Never saw that level of growth before. I gave them a bloom booster to help with their transition to week 2 - 3 of flower, this should kick in the bud development. I inspected the little ones and noticed signs of Thrips, annoying buggers. I treated them with neem oil and a time released pest fumigator strip (last 3 months). Overall I’m impressed with this week's progress so far.

‖ NUTRIENT PLAN ‖
Next week I will amend the soil with a little nitrogen, and focus more on pk for buds. I gave all the girls Flower Fuel a granular bloom booster I got off of amazon last year. I never had issues with it though I haven’t used beastie blooms or other common bloom boosters on the market. The week after next (week 7) I’ll add powdered amendments to keep them going till harvest. I may even amend at week 6 so they get a head start on breaking down all the organic materials.
Everything is ph’d to ~6.5, the girls are looking healthy and will be ready for feeding soon.
‖ PESTS ‖
Found a few thrips around, still managing the white flies okay but I’ll need to tackle the thrips immediately to prevent stunted growth and stress to the girls. I use neem oil, green cleaner (not the kitchen disinfectant) and a slow release fumigation strip that helps with most pest.
‖ FINAL THOUGHTS ‖
This week has gone well, again I was surprised with the growth rate during this week. The stretch period is still going for some of the girls so I’ll keep updating on their individual growth stats for the next couple of weeks. I’ll need to inspect my plants a bit more carefully so I don’t miss any signs of stress, pests , etc. I may be partially blind but I can still make a better effort in spotting these potential issues, I’m still learning :) Well, it’s been a great week, got some work ahead of me. The strech is over. Another very hot and sunny week. The buds are getting bigger. I started to add some Bio-Bloom because the bottom leaves started to turn a bit brown. It seems that this is a 3 leaflets phenotype plant. Overall it looks nice, I'm happy :)

Man another great strain from Divine seeds . The germinating was fast and they were into the soil in no time , within a few weeks I had a great looking female plant . She was topped and trained well giving me 4 solid main branches . The bud development was fast and by the end they were very dense and sticky . I was doing organics for the first 2 months and then synthetic just to go and finish it on the brand Dutch science "bloom" . I was so impressed with the smells and growth that I went and popped another strain at home .. The consistent results made me want to try a other one and so I did . I'm hooked now ..

FD 30 : 5L water with PH ~6.5 1ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l topmax, 1ml/l biobloom, 0,5ml/l calmag
FD 33 : 5L water with PH ~6.3 2,5ml/l biogrow, 1ml/l topmax, 2ml/l biobloom, 0,75ml/l calmag
The leaves of all plants besides the top right are turning yellow, the top right plants leaves are getting deeper red every day.
When opening the tent you get hit by this sweet, fruity scent :)
I think the yellowish leaves are comming from nutrient deficiency. Since the PH should be in a fine spot now, I guess raising the nutrients should be the solution.
If you have other thoughts on why the leaves turn yellowish, please tell me!

This week, we feed mycorrhizal fungi to the plants and it gets the excellent results. The plants grow extraodinarily.

Flipped on August 9. The strain likes to grow and fill in inside. Did a pretty big defoliation and stripped down some of the lowers. Added a net to help with the stretch. I removed the fan and filter from the inside of the tent in between grows. placed it outside to make room because I know it’s going to be crowded. Also having intermittent fungus gnat issues. Treated with mosquito dunks solution. Will be feeding a seabird guano worm casting tea for the next feeding.
Started silica supplement and fed seabird guano / worm casting tea this afternoon. 8/22. Also dropped the net down and spread out the canopy. Starting to stack up. Sugar to appear on leaves. Smell starting to come through. I love the strain but every time I grow it the smell makes me nauseous by the time I’m done. Super terpy sweet blueberry stank. By the time it comes out of the jars I’m ready for it again.

Second week of flower is done – no issues so far, everything’s looking stable and healthy 🌸
Cherry MAC Muffin is developing evenly and continues to thrive.
💧 Watering & Feeding

I’m currently feeding at least 50 % of the AN schedule, but since she's taking it well, I’ll increase to 75 % on the next watering.
No signs of deficiency at this point – nutrient uptake looks solid 💪
📏 Current height (Cherry MAC): 76 cm
Stretching seems to be slowing down – everything’s calm for now.

Day 65 since seed touched soil. Big disaster in garden !!! I added epsom salt and didnt phed , was in a rush to overtime, they dranked in 3 days , that was unexpected ....
AK has root damage as rest, but on canopy i found 5 spotted leaves too, reminds calcium .... Hate myself, ph test kit was on table too, prepared, i just f@cked up in rush ...
Running out of space. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is doing great job, two plants are like 5 cm away , still no signs of burn.
Try to keep humidity in 65-70 % range, temps around 22, nights 20. All works.
Will top up this week with next watering, want to give one plain.
Wrong Ph led to slow uptake, AK is in limbo, behind couple days by weight, if troubles are bigger than i see now - maybe even 3-4. So sad .... One time wrong ph and you can damage garden heavily ...
Close up bud photos were taken under max light, so colours are false.
Day 66. Damage is done, see calcium rusty spots around,leaf colour not the best ... At least drinking normally, loaded 5 liters yesterday eve. Hope to do watering and top up this Friday.
Day 68. They drink fast, 3 days were needed only. Loaded 5 liters again. Made top up. See bleaching, raised lights , have 10 cm left.
Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water.
All pots are 30 litres ( grams and ml , have in mind ) :

Growth exploded once I dialed in the water intake of the girls.
- Darkside cookies is a monster sprouted quick and has taken off growing to 4” in week two since potting. There are some yellow blemishes not really even spots I think my lights were to low (raised them so will update on progress next week.) She should be ready to top in 2- 4 day thinking about manifolding her as well she seems strong and resilient!
- Nebula punch my little shorty at 2”. Her nodes are so tight they’re almost touching (blessings later on in flowering; although moisture control will be paramount on her!) She’s symmetrical with a deep green luster.
- Blue Bourbon Smash is at 2.2” and seems to be the quaint even keeled middle child. She doesn’t seem to mind the watering conditions as much as the other two did as I understand watered for about 3-4 days and she was still progressing while the others looked noticeably lacking in something needed.
I will top/manifold Darkside cookies and maybe Blue Bourbon Smash! Also a trellis is in the pipeline for helping maximize that structure on Nebula!
* If anyone has any thoughts on the yellow blems on Darkside I would appreciate it want to catch it early if it’s not light burn *

Harvest done after a week of flushing, the result is always satisfactory. One of my favorite strains, after the drying and curing process I'm **updating my feedback! Thank you all for following the process. 💪👊
**Gelato 41 has a sweet and creamy aroma, with notes of vanilla, berries, and a citrus touch.
The flavor is smooth and creamy like a dessert, with lemon and mint on the exhale.
