despite the high summer temperatures the balckdog is proving to be a very strong indica variety!

Week 3 - Day 2: Id say she's about done stretching I'll see in the next few days, I can tell the plant is diverting more energy to creating bud sites. I absolutely cannot wait these buds are gonna be sum chunkers. Very tight internodal spacing which I like I am not too worried about budrot, since I can keep humidity fairly low and plenty of air flow. My only issue is it's getting so big that my light isn't touching to the bottom of the canopy haha. I defoliated pretty heavily (no more than 30% on day 1 of week 3) I am thinking of letting it bounce back then I'm going to do one more strip of the bottom leaves and bud sites. I noticed I missed a few. But I'm gonna strip the bottom 1/3 bc no way my light will reach there. So far very happy! Day 3: Looking so good, I stripped the bottom 1/3 of the plant removed 99% of the fan leaves and smalls/larf down there. Going to be the last time I do so, I am a tad bit worried as I just stripped a good bit of leaves 3 days ago, but I felt it wasn't enough and had to go back in on it before it got to into mid flower. Fingers crossed 🤞 hoping for the best. So far I'm so happy with this grow, definently my best yet! Day 6 : Looking so freaking nice. Already getting Frost on some of the sugar leaves here on week 3. I have a feeling it's gonna be a frost monster. Hopefully a great washer 🙏 The top nugs are looking more "tight and dense" I'm thinking because it's a bit intense close to the light. I'm gonna lower maybe another inch or 2 see what it does. The buds lower have long luscious healthy hairs still a tight structure but already looking very beautiful.

Lots of fattening up happening this week. The smell in the room is wonderful. I am battling Humidity a little bit but nothing major. Not much else to report. I used the FFJ I made which smelled exactly like a few bud enhancers I have bought before.

Empezaron a formarse nuestras flores y es que ya tenemos muchas ganas de ver como se ponen estos ejemplares. El ph está controlado en 6,5 regamos cada 48h , todos los riegos llevan nutrientes. Es predominante sativa y tarda alrededor de 9 semanas.

Hello. This is the end of veg and the first week of flowering, starting tonight. Man what a cold spring around here. We had a week of over 21* c through the day. But the last couple of weeks have been cold, barely getting over 13* c through the day. I didn't open the tent till noon because it was raining here. So, these plant will be going into flowering tonight. I'll be lowering my bamboo type of net later this week that will hold up the big BlackMoon buds. Got 2 males to work with this year. Panty Punch and Pinoal Kush (my own cross) These males should make some good seeds this year, they are "FREE" if you want to do a diary on them. I use a 3 dollar international stamp and a Christmas card to get them to you, I just want a diary done in return. The plants inside will be put into flowering a week after the ones in the greenhouse. I know it will take me a week to harvest the ones in the greenhouse. The plants in the greenhouse all got a big drink of rainwater last night and all had their first overflow into the reservoir. I'll be mixing up some flowering nutrient for the next watering. Well, that is the end of the FFFB comic book. Hope you enjoyed it. He's one of my favorite artist. Good week for this lady. I defoliated about 30 leaves on her to make room for the other buds sites that's developing. Is there a such thing as too many bud sites??😅😅

11-25-2024 - All three plants received 2000ml PH'd tap water with a dose of Recharge and Silica yesterday. These plants are in full on stretch mode now and they're growing rapidly. These three plants are already as tall as the last grow I had and we're not even into flower yet. My expectation is this week all three plants will go into flower. I'm seeing pre-flower on two of the three plants and would expect that all three will have signs by end of tomorrow. The Mystery Seed continues to be pushed in ways the other two have not. I top dressed the Mystery seed yesterday with 3 Tbsp Gaia Green Power Bloom and we'll see if that makes a difference or kills the plant. I suspect it'll be ok. If I do not detect any burning I'll probably treat all three with power bloom next week. Otherwise, things have been going exactly to plan. There are no blemishes on the leaves and they've been maintaining a healthy green throughout the grow. I'm going to be watering a little more frequently as we get fully into flower AND I'll be ramping up the lighting in the tent to between 600-700PPFD. Should top out between 900-1000PPFD within the next couple weeks. 11-27-2024 - At this point I'm the big worry for these plants going forward as I have a hard time not messing with them. Since these are Autos, I'm only performing necessary defoliation to expose bud sites. As these girls head into flower I want to make sure I have light getting to as many as possible. These plants look very healthy and two of three are in pre-flower while the "Mystery" seed continues to stay in veg but is also an inch or two shorter than the other two plants....and has been topped. All three plants right now are as tall as the last three plants when I harvested so I consider this a good sign. Happy Thanksgiving!! 11-28-2024 - Happy Thanksgiving. Today I'm thankful for sites like this where I've learned so much. This morning, my CO2 levels finally are getting over 1000ppm which can only mean that the exhale bag is working now....took about 3.5 weeks. This morning I watered all three plants each with 2 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. My tent conditions are OPTIMAL @ 75F/60%RH/1.1VPD/1000PPM CO2 and PPFD readings at the top of the canopy at 650 or so. The plants are growing vigorously now and are getting ready to go into full flower. I would expect flower sites throughout by the start of week 6 if not sooner. Its flower time! 11-29-2024 - Plants grew over an inch since yesterday and all three are stretching nicely. The Mystery Seed, which I topped, is a couple inches shorter but coming along nicely. All three are healthy, no bugs, no signs of anything except health. The conditions in the tent are still perfect and I'm feeling very confident in a good harvest. 11-30-2024 - Bumped up the lights this morning to 70% which should yield around 700-750 PPFD. Watered Granite Runtz and Frosted Cherry O's 2 liters each but the Mystery Seed was still a little wet so I'll water that one tomorrow. Its still not in flower so water uptake is a little less. CO2 levels continue to hover around 1000ppm and I've bumped the humidity down to around 50-54% since they're heading into flower. I also top dressed both the Granite Runtz and Frosted Cherry O's with Gaia Green Power Bloom.

Ok so I chopped her.... I had too.... as I found rot in Blue Gelato, I knew she could have some... and I was right. Sometimes I hate being right... lately more often than not. But on a good note. She really only had a little 2 or 3 buds I don't remember... Trimmed lightly and hung to dry... I have to run a dehumidifier due to all the rain.. I have only been getting 10 hrs of sun total, I realised now.. normally i use supplemental light in the winter and i grow autos usually. But I'm always changing crap... and forgetting what I should do when... so really fuck it.. I will keep flowering with 10 hrs of light. I will have to figure something out soon if I'm going to grow outside this year..

Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Can’t wait to see what we do this week ! Hopefully you all enjoy, and are ready for another great productive week ! my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 60 days and flowering stage was 70 days total (harvested tops at day 63th) the total weight of dry buds was : top buds 174 G + lower buds 55 G = 229 G my overview of strain with details: the seeds: unfortunately i only got 1 seed cracked out of 5 so i will not know how much this genetic can get different but at least i got the chance to grow once of this wonderful strain the plant : in every stage you can ensure that you are dealing with a high level plant , she will get big so you have to control her height LST and SCROG highly recommended , will grow very well with tick stalks and big fan leaves , has good resistance for stress and will respond very well to stress trainings , she really has gorilla power in herself , fresh buds on plant : buds are very compact and dense even from start , fresh blossoms smells like pineapple and mango , 2 different shades of sweet smells like you hold 2 junks of pineapple and mango in your hand and you smell them together, she is a trichome and resin factory , very very sticky , very oily , strong smell dried buds: very compact and dense , hard as rocks , has dark colors with purple hues inside it , it smells sweet smoke : very smooth and sweet like lollipop , pineapple , mango like , after 2 minutes it'll kick in and you'll get higher and higher with every breath , has a strange and especial high mind high mostly

Got on top of the Cal/Mag looks lush now an gave them a nice defol for the last time, got to be my favourite strain grown so far... In week 5 of flowering, the buds all over becoming thicker.😁 some new buds growing in new places like along the main cola. With buds blooming, the plants will get fatter every day. This is a surefire sign they are in full flowering mode. Really starting to have a very intense odour🧐🤓 Some of the plants’ previous white pistil hairs are now turning darker into a brownish or amber colour. At the same time, and the trichomes on the beauties ohh there starting to become opaque. The trichomes becoming milky white and the hairs turning darker, ooh man I cant wait 🤤🤯💚

total end end dry weight was 2453g very nice strain to grow recommend to anyone dried them for 9 days 68fh and 50-53rh

While we're not huge on autoflower plants, this one turned out really nice, not a huge yield, maybe just over an Oz dry but her bag appeal can't be beat.. we may actually grow this strain again but probably outdoors, our autos always seem to preform better in the garden. Took a while to get there but OMG little note quick! So I started her in a 1 litre pot and stuck her on top of a 1.5L Pepsi bottle with the top chopped off! And she yielded heavily for that amount of soil a whopping! 224.63 wet weight so can’t wait to see what she holds dry because them buds were like boulders! So dense! I will be back to document her dry weight and then a couple of weeks later with the update on the smoke report! But I know it’s going to be so loud! She has deep pungent aromas like gassy and sweet! She’s going to be a powerhouse! She was a little over as today a banana developed but that just tells me “well done” timing just right! She’s a little long for my taste of auto but I do suggest anyone grow her she’s amazing! In the end!
