This grow went by way to quick! This plant was an absolute joy to grow and nurture. She was extremely easy and hands off! She has an very strong pest and disease resistance and I had zero issues with any cannabis pests nor pm or botrytis! I will 100% recommend this strain and breeder to any grower who will listen. I just cannot say enough great things about this grow! I am very happy with how this grow came out. She came out as a heavy hitter with a wet trimmed weigh in at 7lbs 2.6oz! She has given me the biggest harvest I have had this far.

So she's grown a lot since last week! The mutation is looking a little crazy still and I attempted LST and messed it up totally. Im sure it'll all work out in the end but I really would like to start widening the plant and use some horizontal space while we're still in veg. This could potentially be my longest grow, in duration. So I'll definitely need to train ASAP anyway. Here is what I did this week. 10.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9 and containing the following nutrients; 💜 1/2 TSP Cal-Mag 💜 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A PH: 5 9 PPM: 1510. Frosty Frosty Frosty! To be a bunch of bag seeds I am beyond happy so far! Have not had very many problems, they have been great with LST and defoliation!

Whew!! That was a Hot Week just past. Several days in a row of around 40 degrees followed by 38 and 39 degrees. Today however is Overcast and much cooler with about a 60% chance of rain later on. The Wifi plant hasn't seemed to mind the hot weather in fact she grew another inch or three. During summer and high temps it's beneficial for your outdoor grown plants to be given some Seaweed or Kelp solution. There is something in it that is fantastic for stress relief in all plants. It can be used at any time of the day and growth stage of the plant and is simply watered in or applied with a foliar sprayer. I also added to the soil 1 smalll scoop of Great White Mycorrhizal powder and Azospirillum. These are root innoculants that will keep the plants root zone healthy and happy. all thats needed is to thoroughly water it into the soil and your good to grow. I used my Bluelab soil ph probe to measure the soils ph which seems to be pretty stable at 6.5 so all good there not much else to report for now so I shall sign off for this week. Total Days: 70 Flower: 31 Vege growth is stopped or very slow at this point. Might eke out another inch or two. I'll raise the lights as far as they can go soon (only 3-4" for the 650w light on right), but with the higher operating RH%, I've yet to see any pistil burn. The light cycle shift to accomodate the painters definitely stressed 2 plants. One was removed. The second i am retardedly going to keep. I stripped off lower weak buds that had the nanners. Pruned a few weak axilla, too. The nearby plant pistils are lily white, so it should be fine. The pistils will be changing color soon, so that will no longer be a good way to assess the risk going forward. Meh, I know it was caused by light stress, so any seeds not selfed I'll probably keep them. Overall, I'm relatively happy with development. Need to adjust some procedures in next cycle and maybe a few more tweaks in winter 2025-1. Second irrigation went well, but i did find a partially clogged emitter. Probably a plastic bit from hold-punching. With 8 emitters per pot, the overkill makes it irrelvant and the pot wasn't the slowest to finish. A few emitters has some roughly milled inlets. I'll inspect them all over the next couple weeks and replace some as needed. Just realized my new dehum was glowing in my tent the entire time. Luckily the display was facing away but now has a cardboard flap blocking it. If it was fine before, it's even safer now. Photons had to bounce of a wall and travel 5' before it could hit any plant. ----- Early update before end of week upday: So, I've been procrastinating replacing the irrigation setup. It's slowly gotten worse each year (3rd ongoing), but never had the dripper devolve into a dribble. I've been hand-watering 1 or 2 pots the last week or so. Replacing the mini sprinkler heads only fixed 1 of the problem-pots. Think the fittings are leaking on the one that did not improve. All the pvc is gone. All the 1/4" manifolds and tubing are gone. The per plant adjustable nonsense is the worst idea ever as all it does is cause pressure changes and endless tweaking of all the little sprinklers, because changing one impacts all the others, or a speck of dirt might cause a new imbalance that requires adjustments etc - Fucking nightmare of useless repetitive behaviour. Still have the 3/4" ID lead-in, heavy duty, 450psi graden hose with ball shut-off valve and pressure regulator. That is now connected to a 3/4" wye with two 1/2" irrigation tube adapters attached to each end. This forms a loop around the pots with a 1/2" tee per pot that leads to a gate shut-off valve and eight 2-gph pressure compensating emitters - 96 in total. Will do first test run on Sunday. The great thing is that this is all plug and play when I switch to injectors. That'll require some sort of pvc manifold and check valve at the utility tub, but otherwise just connect hose, and it's golden. That's the next step. I'll also re-incorporate the wifi-enabled solenoid valve at that point. Getting rid of the 55-gallon reservoir and pump would be nice. One less thing to maintain (rez) and less things that can break down (pump / powerhead). ------ Sunday Test Flawless first run. Time will tell if they are resistant to clogging, but optimistic at this point. 18psi operational pressure at the irrigation loop. Didn't even need the regulator. The mesh strainer at the pump intake doesn't have the typical, small air-bubble, so the last setup was letting a little air in. The last setup was fatally flawed. Pressure compensating emitters for the win. They didn't even squirt wildly as the air was expelled from empty tubing on first run. Took ~4mins or so. Some pots finished a bit sooner, but that's because they don't drink as much per 24 hours. I can live with that kind of waste. I'll get the timing down to reduce water usage even further. I don't need to wait for every pot to exhibit runoff as that is beyond 10% runoff needs. Might be able to get 4 fertigations before refilling reservoir instead of 3. We'll see. I don't like the minimum ~12-15 gallons sitting over night. It fouls the reservoir faster at low volumes. Anyway, super geeked. They better not clog easily, lol....

Week 10 for Black Lebanon by SSSC She's looking a lot nicer after she's adjusted to the training the previous week. Unfortunately its been way too hot😥 She did end up getting a little leaf burn here & there but not much. Its a little hard figuring out when these 250L pots need to be watered/how much water they actually need😅 I gave her 7L of water yesterday afternoon but the temps are staying in the low 40's this upcoming week so ill be giving her more water this evening too. She's really turning into a big monster😂 Really enjoying this plant.

I touched one of the leafs with trichomes on it. Smells VERY citrusy/lemony/fruity. Very excited for this strain! Buds are very solid. It's a hybrid with Durban Poison X Rainmaker (Citral Skunk x Mandarin) x Gorilla Glue #4.

Seems to be taking well to being moved to the 5gal pot. Growing a lot faster after the 2nd day in the bigger pot. Watered for the first time since planting in big pot after 5 days with 1L distilled water (Ph 7) mixed with 1/2 tsp. fox farms grow big and 1/2 tsp. big bloom. Since my soil is considered hot soil I wanted to use less than the recommendation on the bottle.

For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Week 2 of Flower 🌺 . Went a little heave on the nutrients smh burned some the leaves . But besides that she’s doing well . Going to give some plane watering in hopes of combating that .

Entering in week 4 from seed. Plant doing amazing after transplant. Blumats dailed in and put the girls on auto pilot. Sprayed some pure crop one earlier in the week and will come back with some neem oil for continued IpM later this week. So far so good! Plants are growing extremely fast. topped the plant on day 25 and trim of the bottom most node.

So it’s the end of Week 5, Day 35 for the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL auto flowering grow. I have come to the conclusion that these four plants are not going to be XL after their pre-flower stretch. Overall the plants are healthy but the prolonged low humidity and temperatures have robbed them of the vigorous growth documented in my previous Sweet Seeds diary (Cream Mandarine XL Autos). I am disappointed that this will most likely be an XS harvest but a tiny quantity of quality bud is better than nothing. I gave them their first feeding of GHE FloraNova Grow fertilizer at a rate of 1.25 ml/gallon and this is 1/4 of a full dose that would be given to a photosensitive strain. I am still watering every fourth day at a rate of 2.8 litres per plant or 0.7 of a litre per plant per day. I will only be using the fertilizer every other watering or every eight days. That’s about it for this update and on to… Mom’s Tip for Week #5- To Tuck or Take? The when, where, why and how to defoliate Autoflowers successfully…. Lets start with some basic Biology- Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants take in sunlight, water and Carbon Dioxide and transform it into energy in the form of sugars that feed the plant and make it grow. So essentially, every fan leaf on your plant is a solar panel collecting light and therefore valuable in it’s own right. I always try to tuck my leaves if possible before considering removal as my plants need all the energy they can get to power through until harvest. But sometimes tucking isn’t enough or just isn’t an option anymore so here are my suggestions for taking the fan leaves from your Cannabis plants if needed. When- defoliating Autos can be done anytime throughout the grow although it’s generally not done within the first 3-4 weeks. The plants are usually quite small and those early weeks are valuable growing time that these plants simply can’t afford to miss. This is when I find leaf tucking to be most valuable, allowing the plants to keep what few solar panels they have while also allowing the grower to position the leaves so that they are out of the way. I personally find that I defoliate my plants the most over the final 3-4 weeks of the grow as foliage is dying off on it’s own by that point and a few less leaves at harvest time is always a good thing! Of course anytime you see dead/dying or diseased foliage, it should be removed as needed throughout the grow. Where- defoliating Autos is a delicate balance due to their small size and short lifespan. If my plants are healthy, thriving and tucking is no longer an option, I will only remove fan leaves if they are covering/blocking new growth or potential bud sites. As the plants age and the foliage begins to die off naturally, I tend to remove the oldest, lowest growth first working my way up the plant as needed until harvest. Why- defoliating Autos is done for a few basic reasons but only as an extreme in my garden when all else fails. Removing certain large leaves will allow more light into the lower portion of the plant’s canopy reaching young branches or potential bud sites. As the plants age, it also helps with increasing airflow around your swelling buds thus reducing your risks for mold and fungi in humid grow environments. Removing any and all dead/dying or diseased foliage is absolutely necessary in keeping your plants healthy and the grow room clean and pest free. How- defoliating Autos is simple if you keep it simple. Only remove what you absolutely have to and use a sterilized set of sharp pruners for a clean, controlled cut. As the plants age and the foliage begins to die off naturally, just wait. What doesn’t fall off on it’s own will snap off with a simple twist of the leaf’s stem. If the leaves don’t come off with ease, they’re just not quite ready yet so be patient. Be mindful that removing the solar panels from your Cannabis plants is always risky business but Autoflowers are even more challenging in their own way. Smaller plants with a lower leaf to bud ratio and a short lifespan means less room for error so paying close attention to the when, where, why and how is crucial for successfully defoliating Autoflowers. Tuck if you can, only take what you absolutely have to and of course- never take more than 25% of your plant’s overall foliage at one time as this can be devastating or deadly to even the healthiest of plants. Allow your plants to take the lead and they will show you which leaves are ready to go- at what time, all on their own just as nature intended.

GMO Cookies Served with Extra Curiosity ?🍪 Curing & Smoke Review | Loud Garlic, Heavy Nights & The Story Continues And yes… once again 😄 We divided the reports. At this point I honestly think everyone following this diary already expected it. But the truth is simple: there was absolutely no way to properly document this entire journey inside one single update without rushing through details that genuinely deserved time and attention. So before anything else: thank you for following this ride with us. And even though this is technically the “final” smoke review and curing report… it actually is not the end yet. Because somewhere inside the freezer still rests: more than 700 grams of fresh frozen GMO Cookies waiting patiently for washing day. And when that day comes: * the ice, * the bags, * the machine, * the resin, * the separation, * the drying, * the pressing, * the final hash… all of that will absolutely deserve its own dedicated report too. So this is not goodbye. This is simply the end of the flower chapter. Now for the people arriving only now, let’s quickly recap how we got here. This entire GMO Cookies run was grown under a 12/12 from seed cycle from beginning until harvest. The plants were raised under the F.O.G. LED setup with environmental management focused on healthy development, airflow, resin production, and structure while allowing the genetics to express themselves naturally with minimal interruption. From the very beginning, these girls showed personality. Strong structure. Aggressive aroma. Fast resin production. And one very obvious characteristic: GARLIC. Not subtle garlic either. Real GMO garlic. The type of smell that instantly transforms the room atmosphere. During flower the room slowly evolved into this strange combination of: * savory kitchen aromas, * spicy funk, * greasy earthiness, * warm pepper notes, * and hidden sweetness underneath. And even now after curing for somewhere between one and a half to almost two months… it somehow keeps getting louder. Louder. Sharper. Deeper. The sweetness is still there, absolutely. But eventually the garlic takes control over almost everything else. And honestly? For GMO lovers… that is exactly what makes this cultivar beautiful. This is not candy weed. During cure, the flowers rested primarily inside Grove Bags, with smaller portions also stored inside glass jars for comparison and monitoring. And surprisingly? Both methods preserved the flower beautifully. The terpene expression remained extremely similar between both storage methods, which honestly tells me one important thing: we hit the drying point correctly. That slow 10-day drying process around: * 60% humidity, * temperatures between 18–20°C, really helped stabilize the flowers before cure without overdrying them or stripping away the volatile compounds too aggressively. And once ground up? This flower becomes absolutely gorgeous. Seriously. The grinder reveals: * greens, * purples, * silver resin, * orange hairs, * greasy trichomes, * and this sparkling dusty texture that almost looks alive under proper light. Even visually, this cultivar feels special. The trichome coverage remained beautiful all the way through cure, and the flower still leaves visible greasy residue almost immediately after handling. And the smoke itself? Oh man… This is heavy medication. Not racey. Not anxious. Not overwhelming mentally. Just deep. Warm. Heavy. Relaxing. This is absolutely the type of cultivar I personally recommend for: * evenings, * late nights, * movie sessions, * gaming, * music, * stress release, * appetite stimulation, * body relaxation, * or simply ending the day peacefully. Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week. It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.
