Hey Cannafam Happy Monday ๐Ÿ’š The past week has been one of stark contrast for my gal compared to the one previous, if theres one thing the UK weather can do with consistantly its variability! Its been raining everyday this week with only one afternoon of Sun and thankfully/gratefully it has also been Sunny this morning ๐Ÿ˜Š Tempretures have dropped significantly and for the 1st half of the week we were looking at 14c daytime and 10c at night, Friday - Sunday were all 16c Day and 10c night and today weve got extra warmth at a heady 17c ๐Ÿคฃ Daylight length is currently at 16 hrs 18 minutes. Growth wise shes doing really well, her 2nd set of leaves have a slight mutation and are webbed a bit like ducksfoot, which interesting but not a point of concern as the next tier has come out normal, and shes just started her 4th set, her side branches at each node are just starting to peek through. Shes not had any feed or great white this week due the free continous rain water. Shes also has a few markings from some sort of flys which were shoed off of her earlier today but nothing major, and considering shes been chronically overwatered for a week shes looking really healthy ๐Ÿ˜Š The weather from the reports is looking to be a bit better for the next week, so hopefully she'll have a bit more Sun! Thats all from me for now, thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ˜ŠโœŒ๏ธ

There was mixed weather again all week. She took some heavy rain and I therefore skipped the nutrients for a few days because she was soaked in water all the time. This caused a slight nutrient deficit that I hope to compensate the next few days with regular feedings. I had to take some leafs of that were yellow... But all In all she is doing fine and she is gaining flower mass. And she starts to smell really nice.

Nice buds, coated with frost. Lived through root wrought, so I will give this plant a good grade for disease resistance. I will continue filling in as harvest / curing completes.

Trichomes are ripening and she is definitely flushed out. Been using only water for two weeks now with some Flawless Finish once a week. Lowered light intensity from 60% to 50% and stopped supplementing UV maybe a week ago. She has gotten a very deep purple color and pistils have receded nicely turning a bright orange. Scent in the house has settled down but the scent on her when rubbed is still very pungent with the same smell as described before! Canโ€™t wait to harvest this one coming next week!! ๐Ÿคช

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...๐Ÿ˜‚ That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

My favorite method to germinate seeds is the 'SERIOUS' method promoted by Serious Seeds. I have almost always a 100% success rate with. Check out the video above for the process. If you hang up the seeds inside a wet paper towel inside a plastic bag, the roots will grow out STRAIGHT instead of being curled when they lay on a plate. Make sure the tip of the seed (=pointy end) is facing downwards inside the bag, so they can open up and grow straight down towards the floor. This makes its easier to transplant the germinated seeds into soil. When you plant the seed make sure the top of the seedshell still peaks out of the soil..this make an easier start for your seedling. They will grow right out of the soil the next day.

Haven't seen too much calyx formation yet, just a lot of stretching. Waiting on the purple too๐Ÿง I've been pruning out lower branches and leaves hanging close to the ground to help keep air flowing and humidity down, especially near her stalk.

3 weeks down and into the fourth! This girl has started exploding in the last few days. I've now started to tuck the bigger leaves under the new growth as much as I can. The Gorilla Cookies definitely is the healthiest girl in the tent. As for environment, today I've turned the ventilation fan on 24hrs with no breaks. I started getting paranoid that hour on hour off is not doing them any favors and I'm just gonna have to suck it up and bare the brunt of the power bill. This will also drastically reduce the RH, which I'm not totally sure of the effects it will have on the girls. Low RH has got to be better than RH too high, right? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

This week the plant is focusing on building and developing buds, they are stacking up nicely on the stems with nice internodal stacking. I believe we have stopped vertical growth now, and so the focus on bud building has increased. Here is what I watered this week. 14.7.25: I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 containing the following nutrients; ๐Ÿ’œ 2ml Ecothrive Trace ๐Ÿ’œ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.4 PPM: 376 15.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients; ๐Ÿ’œ 2ml Ecothrive Trace ๐Ÿ’œ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.4 PPM: 365 16.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.7, containing the following nutrients; ๐Ÿ’œ 3ml Ecothrive Trace ๐Ÿ’œ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.7 PPM: 360 18.7.25: I top dressed with the following organic dry amendments; As a base for the dry amendments I used: ๐Ÿงก Worm Castings - 1 Cup ๐Ÿงก Coco - 1 Cup ๐Ÿงก Perlite - 1/2 Cup Dry Amendments: ๐Ÿ’š Ecothrive Life Cycle 1TBS ๐Ÿ’š Ecothrive Bloom 1 TBS ๐Ÿ’š Ecothrive Charge 1TBS ๐Ÿ’š Diatomaceous Earth 1TBS I watered this in with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.7 with 2ml Ecothrive Trace. Tuesday February 28th I dropped 5 Exotic Genetix โ€œYikesโ€ in phโ€™d to 6 water. After 8 hours theyโ€™ll go into paper towels. Eventually ending up in rockwool. This is my first time running a RDWC system. I have to thank @budz_alot for helping me get this all together!!!

Hi everyone :-) This week, phenotype 2 and 3 were repotted just like phenotype 1 from the Zamnesia Spring Cup in the other diary ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป. Otherwise not much has happened this week. I'm curious how the two with Canna Bio will compare to the monster bud mix in the spring cup diary :-). I wish you all a nice weekend, stay healthy ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป and let it grow ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Ž

Start week 9 From the end of last week i feed Dolomite 9tbs per 1 gal of water to fix soil acidity(hope will help) and no fill any more nutrient. At this point seem to be all plant will ready for harvest in next 2 week. So additional nutrient should be not require on this period, just watering until harvest day. Over all bud of BCN looking good and Pineapple looking better from last week but still smaller than expect. I try to change light hrs. By 12/12(some local professional recommend i will try).

Bravo Genehtik! They did an awesome job with this strain! She has been extremely vigorous and resilient (only auto that didnt stunt from transplant) we began LST this week as she has enough spacing between nodes and strength to withstand the stress. I managed to get her main branch bent to almost 90ยฐ and exposed 90%of her branches( ones is stubbornly hiding ๐Ÿ˜ก) without stopping this is the best I could do๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ She is also starting the very beginning of a stretch she is drinking a bit more and her lower stalk is hardening up.She also popped flowers, earning her a name officially!
