8/2 Fed two gallons this morning and took some hurried pictures. Did SLIGHT defoliation of dead leaves. Didn't have much time to inspect things. I'll check things out later this afternoon. Need to go in at night and see what critters are about. Woke very late so it was a very hurried morning. Rained last night like I expected. It's 68 at 9:30 and looks like rain. 8/3 Nice and sunny and 80 at noon. Didn't water as it rained last night nor did I get a chance to defoliate. After seeing a comment about mites I decided to break out the ol 100x scope. I took random samplings of leaves on different plants. I found ZERO mites. Just because I didn't find any doesn't mean they aren't there but it brings my anxiety down a little. While looking I did notice something is munching leaves. I wanted to use something to continue treatment for WPM and any random bugs but I may need to use captain jack's. I have lady bugs and don't want to kill them but I might just have too. I don't know if earwigs are a big problem or the holes are from pillars or hoppers or whatever else. Observing the weather and the 40 degree mornings and the wind tunnel I seem to be in, I don't see mites setting up shop or sticking around too long in these conditions. Either way if I missed something the IPM will get it. I bought general hydroponics cool bloom that I'm considering switching from tiger bloom. My tiger bloom is from last year and it seems to be crystalized a little in the bottom. We shall see. This is the last year of liquid nutes I hope. 8/4 Watered this morning and defoliated dead leaves. Looking on the inside of the plants I've noticed what looks like small leaves by bud sites dying or being chomped on. Not a single fucking aphid anywhere. I think those earwigs got a taste for those sweet lower bud sites and may be causing damage. It kinda helped as all they did was lollipop a couple lower branches in spots. Still I believe it will become a problem if left unchecked. Plan is to treat plants tonight with captain Jack's. I have a little more research to do but I believe that's the route I'll take. I noticed some pillar holes and other assorted pests so I think now's a good time to hit them with the Spinosid. Plants are looking good though. I can see cola's forming and hairs coming together to make small buds. What a great time. I have so much to do but I'm so busy with the other things going on it's hard to keep up. I'll update as I progress. Plans are fluid. 8/5 Topsoil was dry despite the rain we had so I watered and defoliated what needed and pruned some inner branches I missed yesterday. I don't like leaving exposed matter when it's wet. It's not supposed to rain until around 1pm. I'm getting frustrated. I can't find the earwigs anymore and "life" had kept me from being the best gardener I could be. Last year I woulda been out with a spray bottle every night looking for them. I need to visit the garden at night. I think I need to lower my pH too. Hopefully the apple cider vinegar spray I plan to use will help some. The water going in is good so I don't get how the pH is higher at the root zone. I've seen random damage from different pests. Tonight I'm putting petroleum jelly on the stalks and anywhere the bugs can climb up. I also plan on spraying spinosid tonight. I will update as I progress. The traps I made haven't caught a single bug. A little frustrated this morning but the garden looks gorgeous. 8/6 Rained last night. This wet weather sucks. Found a couple spots where bud shoots had been eaten as well as other tell tale signs. It's got to be those earwigs. I've researched my ass off and have none of the normal pests I usually would this time of year. Especially aphids. I have lady bugs but no way they controlled pests this well. More likely the wigs ran out of food and got a taste for nice cannabis shoots and leaves. I can't seem to make it happen at night so this morning I liberally sprayed all plants with a gallon of captain Jack's dead bug at 2tbsp a gallon as recommended. Spinosid works good and I've used it in the past with BT. Should take care of whatever. I sprayed around the cage too but I couldn't find anything. I read Spinosid is good at controlling those fucking earwigs too. Did you know earwigs are 20 million years old and the only species in their genus. I certainly didn't. I see leaf septoria all over the foliage around. By around I mean just driving or walking in the woods. It seems bad this year. At least it hasn't gotten to my garden yet. Garden is away from most other vegetation. I have ONE plant In that 30 gallon tote at the back outside my cage that I can tell has leaf septoria 💯. I don't know if I should cull it or try to fight it. I'll pick up a copper based fungicide and try first. I'm at that point where this plant was just extra and neglected so maybe it would be better of somewhere else. I may just isolate it. Hurried morning. No time for defoliation not pictures. I will update as I go. I will start apple cider vinegar spray probably tomorrow after I feed. I'm researching how to check my pH with an indicator liquid. Maybe I can get a better idea of the pH at my root zone. Those soil meters suck. Update I went for a hike just to check out the foliage in the area. I'm lucky. Japanese beetles have stripped a lot of vegetation around here but have luckily left my cannabis alone. I've killed like four total. I also noticed tons of fungal infections in trees (different area from my grow but within a mile). Hopefully I can come to decision about treating or culling that plant. 8/7 Looks like it's going to be a good day weather wise. Like I said my tiger bloom has what seems like small crystals that rattle when I shake the bottle. I know it's probably better to use one line of products but I switched to GH liquid cool bloom 0-10-10. It came highly recommended so we shall see. Plants seem to be doing well with the transition to flower. They look healthy despite the little ones outside the cage and the one with the fungal infection. Even that has nice tops it's just the bottom that looks fucked up. I think I'll bring it away from the others and attempt to treat it. Luckily it was just an experiment and a bag seed. After taking a hike I realized I'm quite lucky. Local foliage has been skeletonized by japanese beetles. This relentless rain has brought about fungal infections in trees, shrubs and even fruiting plants like blackberries. Things could definitely be much worse. I'm picking up a fungicide today to treat that plant. PM seems to be in check for now but I'll need to stay on top of it. Also need to try to get litmus paper or something to test soil pH. Meter is junk. I have indicator liquid though. I'll update as I progress. 8/8 Its been raining almost every night. Another challenge for the outdoor grower. I defoliated more leaves this morning. I noticed previous damage on bud sites that appears to be from earwigs. Also dead sugar leaves on new bud shoots down low and inside. Glad I got the Spinosid treatment in. At least whatever ate it will be dead. Need to still figure out what to do with that plant and whether it has leaf septoria or just a more advanced powdery mildew. I'm in town now and I'm planning to pick up a copper based fungicide just in case. I may isolate the one plant and treat everything and go from there. It's a large plant but seems to have lost most of its leaves. Not sure if switching the nutes was a good idea as I read that tiger bloom doesn't really expire and it's made to go with the rest of the nutes I'm using. Next week I need to stay on top of treatments and continuing to monitor for PM or other damage. Other than that plants look healthy and are transitioning to flower pretty well. Sunny and Tempe reached 90. RH is stupid high

Start of week 10 am amazed at their transition, gave them a light trim last night to allow some light through. All 8 have pistils but we have 1 that is developing slower with only a few on it, the rest are covered in pre flowers. Have increased feeding to 3L per day and barely getting any runoff. Gradually increasing the volume to achieve 10-20%. It appears that once everything is dialled in they get hungry! Increased feeding to 4 litres daily 6 out of 8 plants had less than 50ml runoff, next feed will increase to 5L, the other 2 I will keep at 4L as they had good runoff. PH was on the higher side on the smaller ones so will do a drip clean mix to flush out the salts May have a male or hermie in there not sure yet I thought I’d seen pistils but not so sure now… while the others are covered in pre flowers this one just isn’t the same.. who knows maybe a late bloomer? Confirmed 24 hrs later definitely a rooster in the hen house. Chopped his neck! Started with 10.. now 7 remain. Silver linings is the girls have more breathing room now

Gorilla cookies and cherry cola are both hitting flower hard! The smells are pungent,the buds are sticky and the stems are strong! We’re getting nice fat buds on cherry already and gorilla isn’t too far behind her. They’ve taken very well to the feedings they’ve been given and all training done to them. Mar 7 (day 78): Start of week 12. Mar 11 (day 82): Chopped plant.

Sept 17th Her smell is amazing, you can smell she is a cousin of Sexbud but this one is much more fruity. Really has a specific odour to it, citrus but nothing like lemon or orange. Last time during sunshine I could even smell something like the bitternes you get from grapefruit, kind of amazing or just imagination. Can hardly wait for her to be cured and burp those jars. Today was a busy day, maroc got chopped because of mould infection. Outdoor grapefruit was also affected but this strain seems to be more resilient. structure of the buds is more spread over long branches and seems to be less susceptible to botrytis. Lemon kush on the other hand is getting real bulky and has mould pop up in some large main cola, I try to check them every other day and continue to cut off any infected parts and dead/yellow leaves. Hoping these babies make it all the way. 2 more days of rain, after that weather forecast predicts higher temperature and little to no precipation. Fingers crossed

June 30, 2024 This week is the end of mid flower. Next week we should be in the final stages of flower. Maturing as it's called. So we will focus on watering this week. Lighting doesn't need to be observed. So I'll be skipping that report unless something changes. Sour Diesel A is drinking next to nothing. Her reservoir is more than half full where the rest of the plants are nearly dry. She still looks good and has great color. But I think she needs to drink more. It's like the soil isn't absorbing much water at all. Maybe it's supposed to be this light. It's a new soil brand, so I'm not really sure what's going on. I think I'll top water her again tomorrow when the reservoir is less than half full. I was considering it today as it's a new week, but I'll be doing everything tomorrow when the rest of the plants are dried out. Sour Diesel B is looking really good. Her lowers look a little underdeveloped. No concern, it's to be expected. But I'd much rather see some development from the supplemental lighting. I'm not sure if it's working or not. I think I have them set up wrong. I need the bars. That's the only thing I can think of. I really don't want to install them so late into the grow, but maybe I will tomorrow. Or later today if I decide to clean out the reservoirs and start fresh. It's still really early. Sour Diesel C is swelling up more noticably now. I think it's due to the top feed. I'm wondering if this soil has issues with bottom feeding. Because I can tell you my previous soil would leave the whole top of the reservoir wet. And the soil would stay at a near constant 45% moisture level. Roots would come out from all over, but this is different. I might have to research the differences. Sour Diesel D has this massive baseball on top. Good side branch buds as well. She needs to be top fed as well. I think. She is a bit light, but doesn't seem to be having any issues. She's drinking just fine though. It's strange. Maybe she is more thirsty than the wicks can handle? The environment is a mess again today. It's really humid out and again it's showing in the tent. 67% humidity. Of course I'll be spending the day opening the tent to let in fresh air. Although, the airflow in the tent should be more than enough to keep air fresh and clean. Just humid. Once the AC kicks on it should drop to around 55%. Let's see how long that takes. I did rotate a couple plants to get light to the outer branches. Sour Diesel A had about 2 liters left in the reservoir. So I put it in the sprayer and top watered it. There was absolutely no runoff, so I know she is a bit too dry. That should help. The branches are also starting to sway a bit when I move her around. Sour Diesel B has these super dense colas. Great size and smells wonderful. I can't wait to see how she tastes. Very promising quality. And a decent yield for the size. Sour Diesel C is looking really good. Now that all the buds are swelling, they are connecting and making the branches look fatter. She is also starting to sway a bit with movement. Sour Diesel D looks great with her giant cola. Nothing really else to say. I took a leaf off that was just blocking everything. The humidity today is still about 60%. I don't know how to make it go down. Everything looks great! Sour Diesel A is starting to sway a bit. She is definitely packing on the weight in her buds. We are looking absolutely wonderful right now. Great leaf color. Beautiful buds. Nice bright orange pistils. Tons of trichomes. Nice and frosty. She is also holding on to that top feeding from yesterday. I may have to top feed her more often. I will most likely use some recharge when I have to top feed. Just to keep the microbes going. Sour Diesel B has these huge fat buds and some super strong branches as well. There's no real sway unless I jostle the plant, but she is also covered in frosty trichomes. Another week or 2 on her I think. Maybe a bit longer. Sour Diesel C is definitely starting to pack the weight on. Her tops are swaying without much touching. Solid buds and a lot of them. Definitely not a big as they should be. A friend of mine said it could be from a slight lack of water. It's definitely possible. My plants usually go through a gallon in less than 2 days by this time. Sour Diesel D looks great with her baseball sized cola. The side branches look pretty good as well. Lots of trichomes. Super dense. I've also had an idea. I haven't used base nutrients for this entire run as the soil is pre-amended and these are autos. However, I'm starting to think that was a bad idea. I don't think they got enough base nutrients to keep up with growth. It's probably why they didn't shoot up and most likely why 2 of them didn't grow super fat buds. Either way, I didn't have all three bottles anyway, so there wasn't much I could do. I should have used the micro and bloom and just worked with that. I don't have the grow bottle. Anyway, they didn't show any signs of deficiency, so I didn't bother adding them, but I'm starting to think they could have handled a hell of a lot more nutrients than I gave. There's still 2 to 3 weeks left. Maybe I'll add the flower and micro the next watering until flush. The environment is really weird. So it's a super nice day out. 72° and like 40% humidity. Just an overall nice day. On the other hand, my tent is stuck over 60% humidity yet again. So I have my heater turn on periodically to keep the temp up and try to pull some of the humidity out of the air. It's not really working. Even with the tent door open, the humidity is still high. Sour Diesel A is definitely the most frosty of the bunch. Her buds are swelling up nicely and are super dense. Another 2 to 3 weeks of this and we are gonna have some hefty buds. Sour Diesel B already has some hefty buds. Not as much frost, but definitely a lot. Her lowers are also getting fairly hefty. Big for lowers that I have seen. Sour Diesel C has super dense buds. Even though they are smaller, I expect them to continue swelling over the next 3 weeks. Sour Diesel D is happily doing her thing. The single massive cola seems to be getting fatter as expected. There's still a good 2 to 3 weeks left on her, so I expect some super weight on the cola. The environment is jacked up. I don't know how to fix this with what I have. It's picture day! Not a ton going on today, just some slight adjustments. Sour Diesel A looks good. She's getting heavy and swaying on the wind. Tons of frost, lots and lots of orange pistils. Sour Diesel B has massive frosty buds. They are super dense and look great! Honestly, there's a lot of leaves, but they are big. Even the sugar leaves are big. It should be pretty easy to trim. Sour Diesel C had light burn on one of the leaves that was way too close to the supplemental lighting. I snipped it off and rotated the plant slightly to get the leaves directly off the light. Secondly, she was super light, so she got a half gallon of just recharge top feed. I didn't use any of the nutrients, just the recharge. Hopefully that triggers some water intake. Sour Diesel D looks ridiculous with her one massive cola. Kinda looks like the main top of a huge plant that was cut off. Lol. She's drinking really well right now. The bottom of the container is evenly wet throughout. A great sign. She will be putting on more weight I think. Super frosty too. I checked the plants and watered D. Sour Diesel A looks really nice. Super frosty and her pistils are bright orange and shriveling against the buds. It's really pretty. Sour Diesel B is packing on more weight. I see the natural foxtails. I wouldn't call them foxtails. I'd call them buds that got too big for the cola. Hell yes. Sour Diesel C is looking super good. Her buds are still swelling and frost is still coming in. Sour Diesel D was bone dry today. Not the soil, but the reservoir. The soil was a little dry, but it will soak up the water and fix itself. If not, I'll be doing a half gallon top water tomorrow. I did the full nutrient regimen, but I used the rest of the half gallon for A yesterday. I topped it off and left the Recharge in. The environment is messed up like it is every morning. But it's noon now and the humidity is still at 64%. When the central air kicks on, it will drop down to 50% by mid afternoon. Day 77 from seed. I also did my weekly video. Sour Diesel A is looking quite good. Her branches are pretty stiff and that frost is insane. It looks like white frosting all over. Some is so thick you can't see the green beneath. Sour Diesel B looks great! Her leaves just started to canoe a bit. I'm not sure if she is reaching or coming to the end of her life, or has some sort of toxicity or deficiency. I don't think so though. Nothing has changed in weeks. However, tomorrow I'll be watering with Overdrive for the rest of the grow cycle. She's also foxtailing. Not entirely sure that's supposed to happen, but it is. Although, I read somewhere that the Sour Diesel strain tends to produce foxtails naturally. Sour Diesel C is a bit droopy. I'm not sure why. She doesn't seem to need water, but I may top feed her tomorrow as well as refill the reservoir. Maybe I'll water to runoff. I'd say a gallon of water should do it. Or 3/4 gallon. Either way, I think she needs it. Actually, I'm thinking the rest of the plants need it too. Maybe I'll just water all of them to runoff. Sour Diesel D is just doing her thing. Not much to report. A couple little foxtails here and there, but the buds are still super dense. Let's hope it's a natural occurrence and not some environmental issue, like the @#$&ing humidity being too high. I should definitely try to research this. The environment is back to what it has been. High humidity in the morning and then it drops down to 54% by mid afternoon and by evening it's down to 49%. The temp is perfectly under control. At a steady 75° to 76° all day. Night time is a bit weird lately though. 72° at night. Mostly because the central air kicks off and my room warms up. todo muy bien! esperando paciente el desarrollo de los cogollos, conociendo y viendo los puntos de maduracion asi como la fertilizacion ajustando a su maximo que creemos posible para incentivar que los cogollos engorden, ahora en adelante les hare segumiento de la grande principalmente, que es la que cumple con la edad del diario, ya que las otras como se explico en un principio venian recien cultivadas por eso tienen un par de semanas de retraso , tambien hay una hermafrodita, que al detectar como comentamos semanas anteriores aplicamos al tecnica vista de un cultivador mexicano, consistia en romper los brotes de machos las pelotas con el fin de que no vuelvan a salir, dejando solo los pelos estigmas de las hermbras, si bien el cogollo queda maltratado, al parecer se detiene el crecimiento, asi que estamos viendo como rinde ese experimento.
