Flowering strong on day 40, trichomes looking good

Ms Mia Wallace went to town and blew the f up. Lots of leaf growth but no sign of bud spots- I know it’s early days tho. Watered with half serving of bloom nutes. Not the ideal nute mix I think, but served me well last grow. Also, as I turned up the light to max power, I noticed heat stress so i turned it down and successfully installed the worlds most eco friendly trellis - one minute- hockey net - next minute - weed trellis. It’s called upcycling boys and girls. I know it’s shit, I’m gonna reinstall it one more 1/4 ass so it’s a full half-ass scrog. Point is, the canopy is flat, pushed that puppy down so there’s more distance. Light back to 100%. Humidity was a little higher under the canopy, even with the dehumidifier, so I put my inline fan back in (was just a booster in-line fan before) and the temp and humidity is dropping. Saw a little bug. Hit the top & bottom canopy layer with light neem oil spray then incecticidle soap. I saw a small critter so I put Diatomaceous Earth on a upside down Tupperware lid. Don’t know if that works. Last time I did a top coat of the stuff on top of the soil - something happened and bad nute burn. Anyone know anything about this? Finally, also tied down a bunch of branches to let the light hit the lower areas. Let me start by saying, I'M SO GLAD I DIDN'T CHOP! THESE BABIES ARE GAINING SOME SERIOUS BULK! I can not wait to see them finish out, It's really testing my patience, but I notice more bulk every single day! It's about time to get the chop, they are maturing really quick and I love it. The smells are absolutely insane!!!

Plants have been scroged and are almost covering the hole net , knowing that they are going to strech for the first three weeks of flower, I'll be switching lights to a 12/12 cycle on the upcoming days . Happy growing y'all !

Update : 01.06.2023 -I had totally miscalculated, apparently because the co2 is so effective and my system is great and the plants for the 3 bw day 1 or 2 are really big and already have good buds, the gushmints already had buds as big as others in week 5 had without co2 - i had marked may 9 in the calendar, and if you look at the day intervals of the weeks, you can see that i'm on the right track now, i can hardly believe it, 3 weeks of flowering and such good, beautiful, vital plants . normally the Buden starts now slowly. Overall seen on all grows! WATCH THE VIDEO I POSTED TODAY! I CREATED IT EXACTLY 3 WEEKS OF FLOWERING YESTERDAY. SORRY FOR MY MISTAKE PEOPLE, MY TANGERINE DREAM IS WORKING 😂😎 60/40 SATIVA YOU KNOW. My only problem this run was a nitrogen deficiency, 5 gallon pots 2 plants this big is was hard to plan ahead for nutrients when ur running 100% organics (trying at least) so I grabbed some 10 gallon pots and I'm switching to LED next run this is going to be excited after 10 years I'm hanging up my HPS I'm going to miss her it's like old habits die hard but seeing the nana glue stacked and happy with a low end one I can't imagine the possibilitys

12 day dry @ 58-63RH & 60-66F in blacked out dry tent | Glass Jar Cure Early taste test & this Bud KOs leaving you in major terp sweats! Hits like a Sumo wrestler sitting on you tickling all over! Flower bowls hitting like fat juicy dabs, with overwhelming squeeze & flavor like you're drinking a smoothie! Breaks down chunky and greasy with a vivivd dark purple color. LOUD N STANKY, opening a jar gives you the duck face funk face.

Added a scrog today, plants looking healthy. Ill be looking foward to see how they react being autoflowers. Bat guano also added to the coco as a top layer and mixed in about an inch. Upped the cannaboost and cannazym. Next week probably be adding PK 13/14

Topped & Sun-Kissed ☀️✂️ This week, I finally made the call—she’s been topped! 🌿 After a bit of back and forth, I decided it was time to give her structure a little boost and open things up to more sunlight. The side shoots are now reaching out confidently, soaking up every bit of that warm summer glow. ☀️ She’s had a golden week of sunshine and handled it like a champ—strong, vibrant growth and no signs of stress post-topping. 💪 Here’s what went into her care routine this week: 🔸 Fed with BioBizz Grow, CalMag and Alg-a-Mic 🔸 Followed by some homebrewed compost tea two days later for that microbial boost 🔸 Two days after that, a fresh round of Effective Microorganisms to enrich the soil life 🔸 And every 3 days, a light misting of silica spray to keep her leaves strong and resilient I’m super happy with how she’s shaping up so far—great energy, lush color, and the new growth is coming in fast. Curious to see how she responds to the topping in the next week!

Been flushing from day 70 (7 days) some nice purple and red showing as the plant uses its reserves up , I will chop tomorrow at 78 days of flower .

Well week 5 of bloom is complete, and this week brought a few challenges. Humidity in my area has been through the roof, close to 100%. My heavy-duty equipment was struggling to bring my tent to acceptable late flowering levels, sometimes reaching over 60% RH, especially at night when the plant was respirating more. Additionally, her pale yellow color, and leathery leaves didn't excite me too much. If you remember, we had a severe heat wave a couple of weeks ago, which contributed to that. But also, since I messed up the ScrOG training, and regrettably decided not to super-crop her, a fair share of the leaf problems were due to light stress as well, as I didn't want to sacrifice lower colas, so I let it go. My biggest mistake this grow, was not paying attention to her the one day she decided to stretch nearly a foot, and was unable to be weaved into the net the next day without being snapped in half. My second biggest mistake is NOT snapping it in half, and letting it repair itself. I wouldn't have had nearly as much bleaching of leaves I think. This week, and I'm assuming because nearly all chlorophyll was depleted from her fan leaves, I didn't notice much of any change from last week. Her buds seemed to be about the same mass, and the stigmas still had the same ratio of red to white coloration. I suspected she was dead, or dying, or just...done. Not all genetics will transform all of their stigmas from white, and not all genetics will have their trichomes turn amber. So, I did a few things to confirm that suspicion. First, I looked at her trichomes on various buds closely with a microscope. They were almost all cloudy, with very very few amber. That told me that she was at an acceptable level of ripeness, even if she could have went longer, assuming she was still alive. Next, I removed the pea gravel mulch I was using in the raised bed, so I could get a closer look at the soil she was growing in, and more specifically, her roots. The soil, although moist a few inches deep, was not at the level I expected, and I think I have not been watering her enough. I don't think I'll be using a gravel mulch again. On the plus side, it did help prevent fungus gnats, as there was zero the whole grow, apart from an early week when I placed some solo cups to germinate on top of the bed, but after removing them, the fungus gnats disappeared with them. Also while inspecting the soil, I carefully dug down to inspect some of her primary roots. They were actually dry, despite the surrounding soil being moist. This could explain why she wasn't drinking much if any for the better part of the week. So, given her dry foliage, dry roots, and ripe-enough trichomes, I decided it was time to harvest her, earlier than expected. Let's also not forget that I was frightened this week with some high humidity scares, so growing longer, and possibly for no reason if she was dead or barely alive, was not in the cards. I've dealt with my fair share of bud rot before, and I would rather try what I have of her now, than to wait the extra week or so for her to be fully ripe. So, that is what I did, on the last day of the week -- I chopped her down, cut off some larger fan leaves, and hung her upside down. This, of course, was after removing the raised bed. It took me a while to empty about 45 gallons of soil so I could move it, but in doing so, I noticed a lot of beneficial critters, and nothing bad. Such critters included small centipedes, which feed on other insects, and soil mites which eat dead organic matter. I set the tent to dry at around 72F and 55 RH. And now we wait for about a week before trimming. One thing is for sure -- I am very proud of this grow, despite all these flaws. She smells incredible -- like pure citrus emanating throughout my house. This is a very strong-smelling plant. As a bonus, I've included a time-lapse video of the entire grow from start to finish in the last media above. Check it out and let me know what you think. Hey everyone Slow and steady, she is getting a little thicker but not sure overall what she is going to produce. I’m just happy she grew and has been healthy besides the stress in the beginning.

START WEEEK Day 98 4/24/22 +With the exception of the cranky girl, the room is exploding with incredible sights and smells. +Lowered ppm just a bit to 800. I guess? that I will decrease to nothing and get prepared for harvest +Kolas are exploding with neon carrot pistols. Very Beautiful +Smell is average, and increasing +light is 12" away from tallest kola and up to 24 for the very shortest. I have 4" of lift left. Should I raise? +It's summer in the South. Temp and Humidity vary greatly, daily. Days in 80's Nights upper 60's. Humidity anywhere from 58% to +Each plant has developed at it's on rate so this week I will continue selective defoliation. +Almost forgot. I am going to try some Epsom salt in an attempt to get the cranky girl to feel a little better. THINKING OUT LOUD ?Cranky girl has been weird from day one. Maybe genetics might be me. I was rough on the girls to start with. She however, was always super green, slow to grow, squatty, huge fan leaves and now (according to growmies) now possibly has a magnesium deficiency. I am critical of myself but I am actually starting to lean toward genetics. Just a note. This was the only plant that I did 0 training to. Just defoliation (light).
