This girl was a treat to grow. A little scary when I first broke her branch but she recovered well. She is pungent and quick to stink up a room. Covered in trichomes. I have sifted her trim for kief and it was very flavorful through my vaporizer. She is a couple rh% points away from curing. Can't wait until I get to really smoke/vape and enjoy her. She was so delightful that I decided to do a really slow dry and cure. All is well :)

Start of week 3 blueberry is flowering and the stretch is almost over. The seedlings are growing nicely.the box got up to 100f this week during mini heat wave had to put ice blocks in rez to lower temp down from 80f. I look forward to the 3 other new strains I’m running. My GSC seedling is looking a little pale I should have waited longer to change rez over to bloom nutes. I have top dressed some organic fertilizer near drip line of nutes 4-6-4 one month release. I applied to all seedlings except blueberry. I reduced blumat on gsc, ww, and ch until surface dried a little bit as my gsc was showing signs of overwatering. Gsc is starting to green back up. My bb had to nanners i plucked them I hope these are all. It could be from the high temps or the one night I had a light leak. BB larger plant receving 1000 ppfd.i turn light back down a notch Gsc leaves started cupping now she’s getting just 550 along with other seedlings.will continue to monitor for improvement and ramp lights up a little later if needed as plants should grow into light.

It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

Looking very healthy leaves are green and there is no nutrient deficiency that I can see.. reeks of strawberry lemonade.. with honey

Plants are growing well , İ am just a bit sad that the sun is not so strong the last week. Hope for more sun

The top is at to starting to throw out pistils, (foxtailing, I'm not sure if it's due to stress. Or just invigorating) as the tops are starting to equal out and fill out. Funnily she's at to bulking up. Very frosty, bit of an earthy musky smell. Gonna leave her for a few more days under my SF-1000 to finish her off. Will hard flush in the next 24hrs with 4 others and they'll all go under my later stage ripening light "SF-1000" !!!!!!!HARVESTED!!!!!!! Edited, ( decided to add my harvest wk and merge it into this viewing week. She is a very odd duck. She just kept pushing out clayxs. Built on sugar leafs and very airy. But, I'm not at all put off by that. The buds are very frosty. (Foxtailing) due to heat and extra stress from a hard push at the end. Some FOXTAILING for a 2x trichomes production in the last week was worth it to me. I'm gonna hold off on rating for a few weeks after the cure, as it's not the most pleasant smoke atm. And after 3 days curing it has gotten a lot better. Bit dank earthy and musky.. have yet to get a sweet smell. I've only had a 1 skinner blunt and it got me high. But I had already smoked other an hr before. So, I'll give true rating in a wk r 2. HARVEST PICS AVAILABLE DIET Has been a mixed bag. But the past few weeks I've been pushing plagron natural line, and a few of their top products. Atami have been used at the end. As was plagron & Terpinator. So, I've nothing to compare it to. Edit Has just been on water for wk 12. Lights Spider Farmer SF-1000 / Viparspectra P1000 2 X 100watts Mars SP/FC 3000 SP used through most of grow. And then the FC 3000 was used for late stage of flowering & ripening.

Ultimately I want to go full organic but time is life's richest commodity, so it will probably be a few seasons before I get their. Also I don't have a drying setup which is a problem for this next run which is in week-1 rn (I go week one staring veg in my calendar). For drying / curing, I'm looking at fitting out a second hand wine fridge as I cant spend heavy on the Cure Puck or any of those auto fridge setups. Who knows maybe they come down in price. It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. This was the last time running this strain/retired and boy oh boy did she finish Strong. I never got her to be this colorful any other time and she tastes of a distinct orange🍊flavour.
