What else can I say. The transplanting resolved all of our issues. I was worried about her not making it as it was week 1 in flower. It couldn’t have been a worst time to do this. The new pot didn’t allow me to keep her held down so I had to improvise with some tie downs and duct tape. She is popping new bud sites everyday and she’s really thriving. I won’t go back to that smaller pot with a photoperiod. This strain is a breeze to cultivate. She’s really forgiving and isn’t too picky once she needs what she wants. I bumped up her feeding accordingly as well as gave her some molasses and a nice amendment feeding. Don’t tell my kids, but this closet freak gets more attention from me. 😂😂 J/K Have a good week you crazy cultivars.

Week 6 is done and everything went smoothly, using lst and defoliation will provide maximum light penetration and maximize bud structures, adjusting ph and climate and we are golden. Flowering stage is always a no brainer for me in fact i call this step cruise control. She will do her things and she is now strong so she wont react the same to high nutrients or even ph fluctuations as long as it stays near the range, her roots are strong enough to be completely submerged since she now drinks a lot more. The purple on this strain is beautiful, Not too dark and even, edges of the calix are red like whine and the pistils creamy white with a hint of salmon like pink in there. She is gorgeous and her structure is amazing, she might event yield the same as my previous grows even if she is on the small side because of her genetics. The resin is starting to fill the trichomes but still very low, this being said if i rub the top of a sugar leaf that is coated in trichomes iT will get sticky On my fingers and the smell will start with a very strong chemical/amonia like scent and 2 seconds later welcome to the damn blueberry field my friends . Amazing, that smell is just perfect, it literally make you want to much on that leaf. I’ve had blueberry before, yes it did smell a bit like blueberry But nothing compares to this one ,in my opinion hydroponic set up brings the most out terpenoids and thc production. Next phase we will start to see bud seriously stacking and resin production, after that the buds will get some weight and mature, im expecting it to be done by week 10 if i flush it by week 9 Until then happy growing and take it easy 👊🏻

Flushed this week with straight water. Bud is smelling like sulfer and orange. Bud structure was good but they don’t seem very dense. Nice color shift the last two weeks of growth. Chopping down and hanging for a two week dry.

Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. So this week is the start of flower !! Woooohooo finally get to show what I'm made of ! Step one ) take all the big fan leaves Step two ) establish a "light line" and take all small shoots that are unable to get the proper amount of light due to their distance from the top of the canopy. * These are the places we all wish would grow ! These are also the places that are at risk of - hermaphroditism - mold - waste of energy for the plant. ** These are also some of the best places to take clones ** Continue to tie and secure everything in preparation of massize buds ! I hope some people looked at this like " This took way too much off " I took ALOT. Yes I push , I push hard to know how much they can take . Yes I would say 60% of plants DO NOT like a massive defoliating. But, the ones who do , you will unlock a yeild like never seen . It's the risk we take . One thing I have noticed is when I'm gonna defoli , I don't combone high stress or toping + a bunch of other techniques . Should have some pretty huge plants by two months ! So great clonability . The end of week one I have seen very little stretching , in my opinion these could all be considered S1 . Gave it 3 days dark and dry. Cut it today to hang and quick dry. Probably get 2oz. Sadly the lowers are very soft. One of the main reasons iI hate indica grows. Very bushy even trimming fan leaves lowers still have no light and inners in the middle too. She looks like a bitch to trim hopefully i can use my silicone brush. Next time Ill ask for their most sativa meow strain.

Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. Some branches have such heavy buds they're starting to fall over and require support. Every week we think they'll stop getting bigger but they prove us wrong everytime. The whole growth was pretty straight forward. Good flying start and she had many healthy pairs of leaves after two weeks. Plus the pre-flowe phase also started just after two weeks. This strain is a bit of a ”lazy flower” buds getting big in no time, but feels like I could have ripen her easy for the next two weeks.
