Borberad Welcome to a new chapter in our Growdiary! This time it's about the Tropicana Cookies FF from Fast Buds – a strain that sounds like a beach vacation and cookies just from the name. Behind the sweet facade lies a feminized photoperiod Fast-Flowering genetic, bred from Tropicana Cookies × Tropicana Cookies Auto. So, it's not an autoflower, but it blooms significantly faster than classic photoperiods: just 6–7 weeks of flowering time – almost like a short-haul flight in the cannabis cosmos. The lady has a slightly indica-dominant ratio of 65% Indica / 35% Sativa and promises up to 28% THC. That means: Lots of power, but usable in everyday life for both the "creative boost" and the "cozy evening." In growth, she shows herself to be robust, can shoot up to 200 cm tall, but remains well controllable with training. Indoors, you can expect up to 600 g/m², outdoors even 350–650 g per plant – provided you give her the right mix of light, love, and nutrients. The terpene profile is particularly exciting: Fresh citrus notes combined with sandalwood, sweet-spicy, and a candy-like aftertaste. So more cocktail bar than grow tent. In the final stage, you can also expect dark, resinous buds – a real visual highlight. 🌱 Week 1 – Germination (Day 0–7) Goals: Successfully germinate seeds, unfold cotyledons. * Day 0.1: After soaking for 10 hours in 1% H₂O₂, it's time for germination in an Easy Plug. * Day 0.2: The first patience phase begins. We wait for the seed to crack its shell. * Day 0.3/0.4 Waiting, waiting. * Day 0.5: Things should start happening slowly. We carefully open the Easy Plug. The root is formed, but it seems the seedling is stuck in the shell in the plug. We transplant into coconut soil. * Day 0.6: The soil is rising. * Day 0.7: Finally done, the work was worth it. The cover has been removed. The relative humidity is now dropping to 60–65%, which should encourage the plant to build a strong root system. * Fertilization & Measurements: No fertilizer or water needed.

Borberad Week 2: Our Tropicana Cookies has wrapped up its germination week with some minor issues, and our caution has paid off. We will increase the DLI to 30 by the end of the week. The first true leaves have already grown, and as soon as the substrate starts to dry for the first time, we will give water with 2ml/l Calmag and 2.5ml/l Hesi Root, and possibly 2ml Hesi TNT until the soil is sufficiently moist again. * Plant Condition: The plant is vibrant and has unfolded its first leaves. The stem is strong and compact. * Important Events: Healthy growth, but slow growth. Start of watering with light additives. Further increasing the DLI to 30 by the end of the week. * Fertilization & Measurements: Osmosis water 20 Micro Siemens buffered with Xpert Nutrients Calmag 2ml/L and 2.5ml/L Hesi Root, possibly 2ml Hesi TNT conductivity approx. pH value approx. * Adjustments: none

Borberad Week 3 The foundation is being laid and repotting is on the agenda. The cookies are now in their 3rd week of life. The first true leaves are well-formed and the plant has grown healthily; it now has 2 nodes. It hasn't outgrown its pot yet, and we can still wait until the first repotting into the 3L fabric pot. On day 14, it was time, as the little flower made a strong push. This week, for the first time, we are using the standard nutrient dose, adjusted to the plant's condition: 2.5 - 5ml Hesi TNT for proper nutrients during growth, 5 ml/l Hesi Root for strong root development, and 2 ml/l Calmag to harden our osmosis water. The DLI was increased to 40 over the course of the week. * Plant condition: The first "true" leaves are fully developed and short internodes are forming. * Important events: Start of nutrient feeding. Increase of DLI. Repotting into the 3L fabric pot could wait until day 14. * Fertilization & measurements: * Watering: pH about 6.0. Conductivity about 1.4 mS. * Drain: We measure sporadically to maintain the deviation of +/- 500 S. * Adjustments: none

Borberad Week 4: Getting Used to the New Pot An important development phase begins. After the plants have survived the transplant stress, they receive a topping, leaving 6 strong shoots for the upcoming training. The substrate in the 3L fabric pot is now supplied daily with about 1 liter of nutrient water. The feeding schedule for this week includes 2.5-5 ml/l Hesi Root, 2 ml/l Calmag, and 2.5 ml/l Hesi TNT, with the TNT dose increased to 5 ml/l if needed. * Plant Condition: The plant is robust and shows vigorous growth. * Important Events: Upcoming topping * Feeding & Measurements: * Watering: pH about 6.0. EC 1.4 - 2 mS. * Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8. * Adjustments: none

Borberad Flowering Week 1: The Transition to Flowering The big event is coming! The light cycle was switched to 12/12 four days ago. To make the transition stress-free, we reduced the DLI to 30. The feeding schedule changes to 4 ml/l Hesi Bloom, 2 ml/l Hesi Boost (once a week), 1 ml/l Plagron Greensensation (once a week), and 2 ml/l Calmag. * Plant condition: Start of the flowering stretch. * Important events: Change of the light cycle. Reduction of the DLI. * Feeding & Measurements: * Watering: pH about 6.3. EC 1.4 to 2 mS. * Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8.

Borberad Flowering Week 3 Full Bloom The flowering is in full swing! The plant has stretched vigorously and is developing beautiful flower clusters. On day 18, it was lollipopped. The DLI has been gradually increased to 40-45. The feeding schedule remains unchanged. * Plant Condition: Strong flowering stretch, beautiful flower clusters visible. * Important Events: Increase in DLI. * Feeding & Measurements: * Watering: pH about 6.3. EC 1.3 mS. * Drain: We ensure that the pH does not drop below 5.5 and does not exceed 6.8, and that the EC maintains the +/- 500 µS deviation. * Adjustments: none

Wunderschöner pheno mit rosa Blütenspitzen und Bonbon Duft. Nicht Mehltau resistent. Aber einfach zu growen. Der größen Zuwachs Faktor 2- 3 sollte aber bedacht werden.

Borberad Great plant that has caused almost no problems. With a relative humidity of 35-40%, partly out of fear of mold, there was some powdery mildew found on a few sun sails, but regular leaf removal made it no problem.

This plant is looking excellent! Do I detect a slight hint of pink in the buds/pistils? That is quite unsual. Best luck for the rest of the grow!"
