This plant really established itself last week - possible 1/2 volume feed tonight 2.75L h2o/molasses ***Oct 8 is Lights-out. Plants go into the dark for 36 hours*** (northern lights finish is going to take toooo long, enough. Into the 2’ tent. small photoperiod GMG to take its place) 25th a.m. - fed half volume h2o/molasses - this plant has opened up and is responding to something -applied some fresh LST anchors, go 26th - carried out a good LST session to finish yesterdays organizing. Looking real sharp! 27th - plant looks ready for a big feed tonight, if the soil allows; 6.5L - with a flowering deadline approaching (Oct 8 or b4) its great that I’m able to get some bigger nutrient volumes into the mix. Working my way towards one 2 gallon feed before lites-out if everything lines-up. - photo uploaded of repair site from first topping. (Uploaded discovery photo as well) Sept 29th a.m. - waited till the Pot was actually lighter (extra 2 days) & fed (d)P 6.5L h2o / nutes - little clean-up on the LST, she is sharp looking and getting round - seeing the pot actually lighter confirms we are not drowning the plant and confirms we are working near the dry side. - 15 gallon pot stays right where it was, and looks like its gonna NEED THE SPACE 30th - last day week 6 - sister plants have indicated a build-up of Salts (n things) is happening in the Soil and I will be flushing the plant tonight as a bit of preventative Maintenance, ahead of any build-up issues going into Flower. - she looks strong and ready. Lites-out is a week away - Foliar misting has been reduced to ~ Twice a week - Flush and some Molasses are going to set this one in motion

Day 22 - All ticking along nicely...apart from a smart timer issue the last 2 days!!! :/ At least it was light stuck on rather than off so no early flower initiation!!! Got everything reset and all looks good so far. Will be using programmable timers for flower, JIC!!! Funny thing I noted while making the time lapse, the plants still "Went to sleep" at the time they should...even with the lights on and woke up when they should! Was quite interesting to see! Apart from that, just LST and plucking some bud covering leaves. Dropping the SCROG screen tonight and this will most likely be the last week of veg. As EC was dropping slightly by end of last week, have upped the EC by 0.1 Happy Growing all!!! 💪

Growing strong I think I'm going to up the nutrition its receiving. It seem thirsty all the time I water her at least 4 time last week.

Last week for these girls, I'm so happy the way they turned out , started a 10 day flush in the middle of last week , amber tricomes has just started to come in so in a week come harvest it will be around 10-15 amber which is what I was aiming for. The color between all 4 of them is amazing and buds are so fat. Did some light defoliation of the lower fan leafs yesterday and the colors came out even more today. My co2 ran out but got it filled up within 2 days .

Start of week 4 for White Widow Defenetely has that indica ciompact structure! Gave her an extra 25g of Bio Grow + 25g of Bio Bloom, as shes such a big plant for this pot size already. Not doing anymore defoliation as recommended by the greenhouseseedco team👊

This week was an absolute nightmare. For five days straight, our residual-current circuit breaker (RCD) kept tripping multiple times a day until I finally discovered—regretfully—that the dehumidifier was the cause. As a result, the ladies will now have to go without a dehumidifier for an indefinite period, which is leading to very high humidity levels in the basement. Besides that the Merengon looks awesome and healthy! Light hits with around 600 PPFD

4th week of Flower is over. Observing some darkening on the tips of the Yellow Orange. Checked ph of the soil and my nutrient plan again. They seem to be fine. My guess is that it is either some sort of light stress or just a genetic trait. I slightly increased the height of the light. I would hardly believe that it is a day-night temperature difference effect. Let’s see how it goes in the coming weeks. Target VPD is still set to 1,5 with 24 Celcius Target Temp. day 68, i know im a week ahead but whatever. She's chugging along nicely, kind of. To be honest she's looking a bit overcooked in my opinion lol, i thought the light may be too close but nope, light meters reading between 50,000-70,000 which is normal, plus the 70k is at the tip of those big colours. Super frosty, smells delicious, its mostly the 2 big colas at the back that need to hurry up, i've included photos. She's had 2 flushes now, last one was a few days ago. So hopefully she'll finish up nicely. No more nutrients, definitely looks like the leaves are starting to deplete themselves of food and may start dying soon. I'm guessing she may be done at day 75? hopefully. gotta remember shes about a week behind because of the time she was stunted. Just a quick update and a bunch of photos :) oh! and a video.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hey everyone! Another week has flown by for the Stickies, and as usual they haven't slowed down one bit. Flowering sites are multiplying nicely across all plants. Two of them haven't developed the thickest stems yet, but it's still early days and plenty of time to see how things evolve. On the feeding side, I raised the EC by another 0.1, as runoff EC was consistently coming in below input. Plants are handling it perfectly. The box has a clear boss this week. Despite topping, LST and even super cropping on some of the main stems to keep her in check, she's hit the 1 meter mark and shows no intention of stopping, making the canopy uneven. She's being watched very closely. VPD keeps dropping as the dense canopy pushes humidity beyond what the current dehumidifier can handle. If it stays consistently above 65%, I'll be adding a second unit for the final weeks of flower to ensure tight, dense and resinous buds at harvest. First pistils appeared over the last couple of days. Bud formation is officially underway and I'll be supporting it with Big Bud. I love this hobby. At this point it's a full-blown passion, bordering on obsession. Happy growing everyone! 🙌
