Although she lost a branch early on, it didn't stop her from producing big, dense and super frosty flowers in the end. She has a great calyx to leaf ratio, meaning she has a lot of nug meat (calyx's) and not a lot of leaf material within the buds. This makes trimming a lot quicker and easier! A higher and later lollipop will be given to this girl next time she's in flower, as she became very branchy, with an incredible amount of lower nodes shooting right up and becoming floppy. By lollipopping higher up and later on in flower, it should stop any stretchy, floppy branches from growing and will let her concentrate on her main cola's more. My pheno of Green Gelato is more of a creamy, nutty flavour with fruity undertones. She's a nice smoke with a hard hit. Her buds are dense and she has really big, swollen calyx's.

Reviews. Nutrient
A good Cal-Mag that performs just as well as any other when dialed in.
This is my very last run with General Hydroponics after switching to Remo Nutrients. I've been using the GHE base nutrient line for a long time. It has worked for me and I like the fact that this line is a 3 part, meaning I can feed at the ratios I wish to feed throughout a cycle and can control what is being fed exactly. Everything has always been super frosty and perfectly healthy so I can only put it down to the environment and what was being put in the coco!
Never had any issues using Growth Technology Liquid Slilicon. The plants are perfectly bendable in veg and strong in structure.
Bud explosion is a good PK booster, although it's quite hard to completely dissolve, it definitely increases bud sites, size and overall yield. I need to test the sweet candy does increase aroma and taste a bit.
Smells funky but is great for the roots.
Because this is the first time running this strain I can't say exactly, but there's no denying that the little microbes do their part when used in an already healthy grow. I'd always recommend it to anyone who is curious and hasn't tried it for themselves.

Thanks again to RQS for providing the genetics for another diary! It's been another fun run. Thanks to all that follow, like and comment. I appreciate every one of you πŸ‘ŠβœŒοΈπŸ€™ Once she was down, her fan leaves were cut off and each branch was hung in the drying box and left to dry for 8 days. It was left in a cool dark place to slow drying time. Once the outer leaves were dry her buds were given a close trim and jarred for curing. I put a 62% boveda pack inside to ensure the humidity is stable during curing, although it's not crucial. The jar is burped once a day for a few days and then left approx a week inbetween the next couple of openings. After 3 weeks or so, you don't have to worry about burping if you wish to store for a while, or you can tuck right in like I do! Because I have 4 seperate quarters for other plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 sections in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. If you multiply by 4, it gives you the average amount for a full tent worth. Happy growing! 🦊

I was looking at another GG diary and she stretched from 8.6 to 23.9. I’m with you I was going to let her go to 18” veg expecting 2x for a 36” Plant. I’ll eagerly be awaiting your update! I guess living across the big pond is an advantage because it takes me longer to get the drops I can reference @growdiaries !!!!!
TheFoxFarmer
TheFoxFarmer
@Tazard, 100% mate. I expected her to get a little bigger than average, which she has but the side branching is too much. Next time I'll be giving her a higher lollipop. That's very true mate lol definitely gives you a lil advantage πŸ‘Œ cheers man πŸ‘ŠβœŒοΈπŸΊ

Odd to not get a temperature drop. Unless you were already efficient at removing excess heat. Was it running close to ambient temperature during the day?

@Tazard, beautiful mate πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ I've not got an a.c. myself, so it'll be a challenge once I've got a bigger light, but I still expected a drop in temps in their day period at least. Regardless of the light. Cheers mate πŸ‘ŠβœŒοΈπŸΊ

@TheFoxFarmer, great consideration. Hadn’t even thought about that. I don’t know about 315’s but 1000hps is about 6700 btu’s. I use a 14k btu portable ac. And have 5 135w old blurple LED’s and 2 3000K LED’s for added spectrum and to fill in for the hps in the 4x6’ grow area. About 1900w. It runs 82-92 (92 sealed) 82F vented. I use 1500ppm CO2. I should also mention the cold air from the ac enters into an insulated tunnel on the floor and cools 3 5 gal hydroponic tanks before cooling the tent.

@Tazard, my thoughts are when they were on in the Day and off at night, the colder night temps kept it lower from the start of the day/lights on, and it took much longer to warm up throughout the day. Whereas now, the heat of the day is warming up their night cycle, so before the light comes on they're already hotter to start with. So once the light comes on it gradually heats up and becomes hotter than it would previously. My initial thought was that it would be easier to keep cooler when running lights at night, but I may have to actually upgrade a couple things just to get it down a bit! I'm still well within tolerance, but once I double the light power that can change. Cheers for dropping in by the way mate βœŒοΈπŸ‘ŠπŸΊ

That's the next strain I will grow after the bananas... hope to do as good as you did mate! What a lovely plant you have!!
TheFoxFarmer
TheFoxFarmer
@Magnetous, I wouldn't say she's a huge stretcher as she was a pretty big girl when she was thrown in there. She at least doubled her height but it was her crazy sidebranching that was more the problem. Had I known this before I would have gave her a later lollipop and a bit higher up too ✌️🐺

@Experimentgreen, cheers! All microbial products/brands are different, using different species and concentrations too, so simply follow what the bottle/pack says and you should be just fine πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ¦Š
