Hello colleagues! I have reached the end of the cycle, everything is going well. I like the obvious difference in the plant phenotypes, it is interesting to fully reveal each strain. Next week - watering with clean water, and we will be approaching the harvest. Thank you for stopping by, and be healthy! 🙏 To be continued... đŸ˜¶

She is taking her time, trichomes not ready. She has long thin formed bud/flower growth, long thin buds Her main top starts hanging side ways, must be under the weight....

July 6: peak growing season now and I expect she’ll be growing about an inch per day here for the next couple of weeks. Weather should be perfect and just have to dodge the thunderstorms. Started another lazy compost tea. Cheers to all growers. 👍 July 7: mild defoliation done over this last week to let light in to the growth tips. Water only as a light flush. July 8: definitely fast growth and looking very dark green but hopefully not too much N. Watered in evening with lazy compost tea. This lazy compost tea is just a 5 gallon (20 L pail) with couple handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, some humic acids and kelp, Dr Bronners peppermint soap as a surfactant (or wetting agent) and vinegar to get pH near 7. Then it’s all left in the shade for about 24-48 hours with the occasional stir. Alternately you could just use Recharge which is made from bacteria, molasses and humic acids. Super easy either way. July 10: added a couple handfuls of malted barley as a top dressing. This is a top organic growing tip from Clackamas Coot. Just get some from a local brew shop which should have a variety of malted grains. Cheap stuff is fine. I’ll add some Power Bloom next week but I figured the barley is good enough for now. Now 25 inches so she grew 6 inches in 4 days. Good times. Good times.

Great easy cultivar to grow, even with the pythium issues in the higher temp DWC. The harvest was very resinous, the terpenes are amazing. The final weight should be pretty good, plants are finishing dry, I'll post dry weight when known. Thanks for hanging out and watching this girl grow :)😎

Well this grow went well up till the end where i managed to get spider mites yet again. Caught it early and at the end of the cycle so there was not a large impact. Now time to scrub the tent and everything in it with bleach.

This week inside the tent felt like watching a scientific experiment slowly slip out of control — but exactly in the way we hoped for. Growth & Structure The stretch has officially calmed down. The plants are now pretending they were perfectly civilized all along. Instead of reaching for the sky, they’re now channeling all energy into bud production. The canopy has turned into a uniform green wave, aligned like a carefully arranged leaf array. Some defoliation was done earlier, though the girls have grown so fast that it’s barely noticeable anymore. But the big procedure is still ahead: Lollipopping Phase II – the surgical finale. Once the lower section is fully cleaned, only pure efficiency remains: stem, pathway, bud. Bud Development The flowers made a huge jump this week. They went from “We’re experimenting
” to “Alright, now we’re getting serious.” The clusters are evenly distributed, dense, and bursting with fresh white pistils — everything is signaling that the next weeks are going to be fun. And the highlight: Rub one of the sugar leaves
that crisp lemon terpene profile already hits you. Sharp, fresh, and almost stinging the eyes — in the best possible way. System Status – Running Like a Machine EC: steady at 1.5 Water Temp: 19°C – chiller performing like a fridge on energy drinks Room Temp: 25°C RH: 58–60% → ideal VPD for early bloom pH: stable and obedient Tech Showcase The under-canopy lighting now creates this “UFO glow” underneath the plants — looking like the whole root zone is preparing for lift-off. RDWC is crystal clear, O₂ levels are premium, and the Mars Hydro above is pushing photons like it means it. And then
the new gadget: Your microscope. A toy more dangerous than any nutrient bottle — because suddenly you want to analyze EVERYTHING: trichomes, leaf cells, stomata, probably even if the plants secretly wave back. Weekly Verdict Flower Week 3 brings stability, aroma, excitement, and anticipation. The stretch is done, the stage belongs to the buds — and they’re delivering. With the upcoming lollipopping operation and increasing light intensity, the setup is entering that phase where you start to wonder: “How full can a 120×120 tent get before it legally counts as agriculture?”

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Threw some videos in this week as well with some Queen's Radio GaGa, Beastie Boys' Brass Monkey, and a little hint of Arkells ....COME TO LIGHT on the short @ViparSpectraLED ..GET IT.. 😓 I thought the Red Poison had the streaks in the leaves but turns out it was the Purple Lemonade, My Chocolate Mint OG Auto just finished curing so I must have made that update during the test session 😎 Chocolate Mint OG Auto Diary: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/77696-humboldt-seeds-chocolate-mint-og-auto-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow -- Thanks for checking in! Plants transplanted into 30l final pots, with 1g/l Greenhouse Feeding BioGrow in it. They're doing nicely, and I'm starting to LST the top two nodes horizontally while those below catch up. Topping and re-topping. Two are showing a little sign of Nitrogen toxicity which I'll keep an eye on.
