Hi buddies im back to the diary Everything is going well, the girls drink a lot 3 to 5 liters of feed per day, the Ph and EC remain stable. I see new roots and buds continue to bloom💣 so I think they are fine and healthy. Sensi Seeds indicates Skunk#1 with 8 weeks flowering now i am at the beginning of week 7 bloom but I still don't see milky or amber trichomes and not even so many brown pistils, so i will repeat the week 5 feed as AN advice... maybe from the next one I'll start with overdrive .. who knows? 😁 I made some macro videos of the trichomes, in the next few days I will update the diary with photos. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn''t getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don''t know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3 months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not and will not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Still forming her delicious buds had a lot of heat problems can’t seem to keep them down below 34 reaching 36c highest! 😮 I’m trying different things everyday but I think if I don’t fit ridge vents or tile vents I’ll be having more dramas with this heat! Unless typical UK gives us rain then I’ll be happy lol I’ve added some examples of my heats in the tents the blue one (blue illuminate) is the bananan glue the first yellow one is the fast flowers second is the autos! I have 2 coolers an extraction fan and another fan to blow the heat towards the extractor but still can’t bring it down! I think I’ll go back to my old way until the summer passes on the next ones which are in germ btw! Looking to rotate a harvest every 4 weeks from when I harvest the autos! Wish me luck please buddies the struggle is real!

Maybe watered a little too much

77 days have passed very quickly, at the beginning of this week I was a little worried that something was wrong with the girl, but after talking to my Teacher, he explained to me that it is genetics that do not affect the general health of the plant and those dark purple leaves are not something wrong, this calmed me down and I continue to grow successfully, I have not had a purple variety yet :) this is my first lady like this :) from tomorrow - she will have more space in the growing box, which she will really like, soon she will face considerable defoliation, because there are really a lot of leaves and small branches :) good luck to everyone.

Flushed her with 30ltr and put her on dragon force and sumo boost. Going to give her one more feed then start a long as possible flush. Trichomes are just becoming Amber so I reckon by next week it'll be time for flush, if not I'll just give her another feed with the dragon force&sumoboost She's already fattened up a bit this week and the main cola is rock solid now. Lower branches are catching up on density too.

This is very first grow. Germinated with 1 inch taproot after 3 days in damp coffee filter in baggie brown paper bag. And then soaked in 5.8 ph cal mag bloom solution 200ppm Next placed in rockwool cubes then 5 gallon pot on 7th day inside 4inch rockcubes then finally transplanted into 5 gallon pots. Since I have given the plants bare minimum nutrients cal mag / and cyco bloom only 5.8 PhD. For their literal first days since seeds popped I’m going to treat day 7 as Day 1 of the weekly feeding chart by cyco and the week 1 will end on day 14, Day 15 is my start of week 2 feeding chart by cyco

She’s slowed down her stretching now and started to form her buds, you can tell there’s going to be some amazing colours coming from them as the pistols have some changing orange early (usually in my experience I’ve seen this in purple pink tones in cannibus plants) so be exciting to see how she progresses it will be a pretty garden with all these fastbuds 🙏🤩

During the third week of vegetation I started practicing Mainling's technique. To do this, I patched the plant at the third node and cut all the underlying shoots. ✂️🌱 I tied the two main branches with string to keep them down. The plant appears to be responding well and shows no signs of excessive stress. ✔️

Stretched vigorously once she started to transition to flower. Developed potency early in flower! She was LST'd weekly, starting week 2. She was also gently lolipopped a few times, to maintain growth towards 5-6 nodes only.

So these girls have started to explode , they were one of the first ones to get into their new home , so they are LOVING life right now. The goal for this week : Attach all shoots to the tomato cage , - get them ready for flower 🌹🌹🌺!! I'm still working on getting a better set up for pictures, although they aren't in the best spot for pictures they are EXTREMELY happy with they lighting !!! position.
