🌿 Mellow Jelly - Frost Factory & Full Recovery!? ❄️❤️‍? Let's go! Welcome to Week 16 for the Mellow Jelly. Hopefully, she is fully recovering from the thrips madness we had to deal with. Judging by how she is stacking up this week, I'd say she shook it off and is pushing hard to the finish line! 📈 The Details / Progress Report: Bouncing Back: She took the defoliation and pest cleanup perfectly. While you can still spot a few old battle scars on the older fan leaves, the upper canopy is completely focused on flower production. The airflow is dialed in, and she is putting all her energy into those buds. Extreme Frost: Just look at the macro shots! 🤯 The resin production is absolutely out of this world right now. The sugar leaves and calyxes are completely caked in a thick, sticky layer of white trichomes. Swelling Up: The colas are getting incredibly dense and chunky. We are starting to see a lot of those pistils curl inward and turn a beautiful fiery orange, but she is still pushing some fresh white hairs, which means she is still packing on weight! 🔥 Canopy Structure: Opening her up last week really paid off. The light is penetrating down to all those mid-canopy bud sites perfectly, ensuring we get solid development from top to bottom. 💧 Next Steps: We beat the bugs hopefully, so now we are officially in the coasting phase! The main goal right now is to keep the environment perfectly stable and start keeping a really close eye on those trichomes. We are getting into the final stages, so it is all about letting her swell up even more and waiting for that perfect harvest window. She is an absolute beast! Let's keep it growing! 🌱💨

16 days transplant to 3.5 gal Dutch bucket with perlite. Auto watered every 6 hrs with newts ppm 680 we will get some burn. It will be ok. Should be mild but strain depending. We She all see who gets upset. They are now in the Greenhouse. So it's up to the Sun and 2 - 1000 watt HPS ( for supplemental light ). Grab a chair and hold on. Don't forget the popcorn.

✋Wk12:Trichome Hunting and Changes in diet. 👉The week has shown to be not just the usual fun of having cannabis in the flowerings stage, but also the frustration of having cannabis in the flowering stage. The fun is the funky stank that hits me in the face as I open the tent each time, then gazing at the magical flowers as they get plumper and fuzzier. The frustration comes from the seemingly slow motion pace the plants are taking as I dream of harvest day. 👉The 3 gallon plant has reduced its volume of liquid it consumes. However, I have only slightly reduced the total volume of solution given each time. I have kept the EC around 1.3. The run-off has climbed quickly between fertigations, and I have done a couple of H2Only irrigations. The runoff EC spiked on the last day of this week. I did another H2Only irrigation followed by regular nutrients. I have seen issues on the upper leaves that could be nutrient related, or maybe light stress, perhaps its moody and hates me for not spending more time with it. I have been keeping the lights at around 17” from the top of the main cola. The lights driver is turned fully on (light is rated at 150W). Its counter intuitive to me that the light would be causing light stress since its only 150w. I would think a much more intense light would cause that or one kept a lot closer. So I have pulled the light to its max height. I may dial back the driver a tad. The buds are getting very bulky and are very dense. I hope they stay that way and not foxtail like its tent mate is doing. 👉The one gallon plant is starting to fade. Its larger leaves are mostly yellow. I take the yellow leaves when they begin to dry up. Some just fall off when touched. I’ve done some extensive trichome hunting and have only spotted only scant few ambers. Most are still clear, but there are lots of cloudy ones too. Very hard to differentiate if they are in the direct light of one of the grow lights (or any led light). The led light makes them all look cloudy, but indirect light shows most are still clear. I will continue checking each day for the status of the trichomes. I will harvest when almost all are cloudy with only a few clears remain. I have kept its solution volume at 1.5l at the low range EC of nutrient solution. I have also given a couple of H2Only irrigations to lower the EC runoff. The buds are sort of fox tailing but look very much like the breeders picture on the product page. The cola are long and getting bulky, but probably not very dense. They are super frosty and the calix’s are getting very large, much like the gorilla glue I grew was. The aroma of the funky stank is strong enough to be smelled outside (I vent outside). The up close smell is different than the tent smell…still creamy sweet caramel…so weird to me…I can’t wait to try it…in like 8 more weeks…sigh. I will harvest the plant when it says its ready. Almost there.😷

All I can say is wow for my first time growing one of their strains from start to finish it was an amazing experience .. The team at divine seeds have me the opportunity to try out some of their strains from the best cataloged seed collection they have . The fist thing I would say was the germination was fast from about 6 hours Into the soak in ph 6.5 water they were sprouting a root allready from the shell . One of the fastest to root I have ever seen in a auto flower was this #moonrockauto by divine seeds . From start to finish this strain has proven to be a fighter no matter what I threw at it as a young grower . I tried to honestly not use to much nutrients with this grow I wanted to see just what the plant could do and take with stresses . The first week was indoors and then I transplanted her outdoors I to garden soil with some promix as well .. This was when I added some mycorrhizae to the root zone and gave her a good watering .. I also used extensively every two or three weeks the miicrobial mass to help stimulate good bacteria in the soil .. week 4-7 she was just exploding with new growth both upwards and horizontally .. The plant had more internode gap distance then I would like at times but it was also lacking a full sunlight location so that doesn't surprise me . The buds were forming around the same time weeks 4 and up with the whole process just flying by . I wish that I had been able to put her into a bigger pot and more open space because she had the potential to be a monster of a plant . This plant would have been a heavy feeder and the amount of dense buds I could have gotten would have been so much more then I got now .. looking forward to what I get to run from their company again they do have some awsome sounding and looking strains . There opium and CBD crosses sound good as well . There will be an up graded page next week with the dried buds and maby a little smoke report ..so I include a small smoke report to this page .. After being hung dry and left to burp in a ziplock bag the buds were dark green with small orange Hairs .. The smell is great I love it but because of the high humidity and rain I lost my top bud to bud rot and was not going to risk smoking anything that could harm me so that was lost . The smaller buds were fine and gave me an extremely big head high . It reminds me of a sativa high with a lot of anxiety . But it was a clean white ash with great taste and smooth smoke just a early day time smoke , this was made into butter as I enjoy eating this more so ..Divine seeds has some amazing strains can't wait to harvest and smoke Some more soon !!

The plant on the left has definitely developed quicker than the other. Not quite sure why the right plant is curving all sorts of ways. Currently dealing with fungus gnats which could be the reason but I'm glad one plant is showing strong signs. Trying to avoid harsh chemicals that may deplete microbial life so I'm hoping the plants can withstand gnats. I'm also sparsely watering to avoid further life cycles for them. Enjoying watching them grow. So far so good I hope.

Harvest done after a week of flushing, the result is always satisfactory. One of my favorite strains, after the drying and curing process I'm updating my feedback! Thank you all for following the process. 💪👊

Not so much to say about this week. The condition of the plants stayed the same. Buds are starting to fatten up and smell is very noticable. This I gave them this week: Day 1 → Dry Day 2 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.5) Day 3 → Dry Day 4 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 5 → Dry Day 6 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.45– ph 6.5) Day 7 → Dry The cobs are now at 45 cm (17.7 inch) with 296 watt → DLI 41/PPFD 949 Temperatures stayed between 21.9 – 29.1 °C ( 71.4 – 84.3 °F) and humidity levels between 46 – 68 % Till next week! The combination of these two exceptionally strong parents has resulted in a premium strain that delivers a fine balanced aroma and an insane high. Foster’s high is deceptively slow at first and creeps up, but after a few minutes her outsized potency unfolds with dizzying energy and euphoria. The mind is suddenly full of motivation and a feeling of lightness spreads. At the same time, the body is flooded with tingling, warm effects and greatly relaxed. The strain clears your mind for new ideas and concepts, lets you dream and makes you feel really happy. Due to her high potency and measured THC levels of up to 35%, she will delight and challenge those with a high tolerance with ease, while certainly beaming away novices for several hours. Because of this, she is not recommended for beginners and you should not underestimate this fragrant beauty. Growing Foster Foster is a resilient and vigorous strain that produces excellent results indoors, outdoors and in the greenhouse. She tips the scales in yields of up to 550g/m² or 1000g per plant, grows quickly and forms many strong side branches with large heavy buds. Towards the end of the flowering period, the buds are covered in a thick layer of glistening resin and emit an intense sweet, fresh and floral scent. She is perfect for growing in a SCROG or SOG and has a very favorable calyx-to-leaf ratio, making manicuring easy. Her terpene profile is complex, offering an aroma and flavor reminiscent of coffee, caramel, freshly baked cookies, and vanilla. It’s a seductive treat that shouldn’t fool you with her mind-blowing potency. She is among the strongest strains on the market and has enough THC to blow your head off. Therapeutic effects Due to its complex terpene and cannabinoid profile, it has a similar wide range of uses in the therapeutic field as in the recreational field. It helps to reduce stress, has a mood-enhancing effect and is extremely helpful for pain and inflammation. https://anesiaseeds.com/product/foster/ ________________________________________________________________________________ SETUP: 80x80x180 cm Zelsius 240W Full Spectrum LED IR UV dimmable DW240H-A6-HS Heatsink color red LED Chips: 512pcs SAMSUNG LM301H + 24pcs Osram 660nm + 8pcs Osram IR 730nm + 8pcs UV 385nm Color mix: 2700K + 4000K 2,8umol/J Driver HLG-240H-C2100B Coverage: veg 5x3ft / flower 4x2ft Product size: 628x205x68mm Green Buzz Nutrients Shouts go out to my sponsors @GreenBuzzNutrients, thanks so much for your support! 💚 💚 💚 If anyone would like to try their amazing organic products, use code GD42025 for generous 25% discount (for orders of minimum 75€) ✨ https://greenbuzznutrients.com/ Biobizz Lightmix custom exhaust fan 320/270cm³/h Carbon Active Granulate 240cm³/h tab water pH 8 - EC 0,25 with Calmag to 0,5 Advanced Hydroponics pH minus Grow + Bloom to pH 6.2 🍪 😍🍪 😍🍪 😍🍪 😍🍪 😍🍪 😍

Very sad looking little friend... Young leaves do look better, but she's gonna stay looking like this because the damage was done! Underwatered and underfed for over a week over new years' plus the tiny metal pot, can't be good for a lil bean just trying to make it in the world. Even the plant of the same cultivar next to it (as you can see in video- but is my housemate's baby so no diary) is still recovering from the same fate. Will spend some time checking out other people's grows of the same bean to see if she's particularly finicky or if we've been particularly neglectful 😂 still fun though!
