Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Got myself some new genetics for the next run after the badazz og and Bubba cheesecake. Both Ethos Dip n stax and Capjunky x Endgame #3 special limited edition 🙏🙏 Once the Pyschoberry cheese is ready ill scrog 2x Bubba and 1 Badazz Og in the 3x3 should be within the next week or two 💪

My Grand Turismo plant is one of the smaller ones, but it's definitely a favorite. The leaves are so short and stubby with these cool ridges that make them look really unique. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Conclusion: Apple & Bananas from Kannabia fully delivered – 454g of wet, premium-quality buds, plus extra popcorn buds for later use. While not the largest in size, the intensity of flavor, density, and resin production make this strain a true winner. Photos are wet buds. Once they are dry, the smoke report will follow!!! Another week done. Hard to see progress day to day but just looking back at photos it's easy to see her moving along. It's my weekly ritual, photo, measure, smoke then update diary! So... She is still getting 1.5L each time i feed or water every 2 to 3 days. Increased the bloom nutrients further and decreased the grow to minimal. Removed a few leaves blocking sites again. Also a couple poking into the fans. As for lst, i slighty tweaked the 4 middle stems. The rest would snap with any bending below the top 40mm. Temperature spiked to 34 degrees in the tent for a few hours today but luckiky was watered last night. I think that helped her through those tough times. If she was almost dry and then had those temps i think she would be a bit annoyed! I was helping my brother move house and was a sweaty mess! Bet she was too and definitely appreciated my lights out being 1pm til 5pm. If it happens again and im home i will treat her to some ice packs by the intake again. :D All seems good overall. Can't really complain about anything. Last week i mentioned how she didnt smell. She did smell if you rubbed her trichomes and smelt your fingers. But just putting your nose to her was only a plant smell. Now, she has just started to have a smell of weed. I have a water pump and another timer to water her while i am away. All tested and after a bit of playing around i can feed 1.5L in 1 min :D On to another week that i am as excited for as the last. The girls are packing on weight and smelling really good, I’ve got 1 really nice pheno that has an amazing cookie smell. One of the girls has faded because I forgot to order more food for them but I have got some now and re-amended the pots last night, hopefully she’ll get her colour back soon.

I accidently snapped the main stem at the base during the first week of flower essentially super cropping her. Electrical tape and lint roller tape on the inside was used to hold the main stem up straight. she healed very well and then took off into a monster. I would have liked to take her further but she could not support her own weight and used that as a sign she was ready. At that point I had already been using electrical tape to hold the the steams together for the previous 2 weeks. Would be interesting to see how this strain would grow in my bigger 20 and 30 gal fabric pots as I struggled to keep up with organic dry amendments, especially calcium and magnesium, almost every watering calmag and lime dust was used for the last month of the grow. Currently harvesting 2 other think different strains and have been preparing 3 smaller pots for either some RQS Titans or a competition strain if I receive something in the post in the next 2/3 weeks. I have been growing for 5 years now from Chronic Nerve pain and I did not get past the flowering stage in my first grow, necessity is the mother of all drivers and if you want good bud, don't stop trying.

here already a little more grown and applying the techniques lst apical pizzicato experimenting, Seeing how the techniques are manifested, some were done poorly, so their results were somewhat strange or curious, if they did, you judge, errors such as not cutting the apical trying to do the pruning, poe error from fmi and only cut the tiny growing leaves that's why you will see those rare leaves

Grape Ape Cake ! Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba Kush X Burnt Toast (from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape An Exciting New Collab from Katsu Bluebird ! Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings.
