🌸 Woche 5 der Blüte Die Early Skunks sind jetzt mitten in der Blüte und entwickeln sich richtig stark. Der Stretch ist so gut wie durch und die Pflanzen haben ein schönes, gleichmäßiges Blätterdach aufgebaut. Die Blüten werden von Tag zu Tag sichtbarer und setzen schon ordentlich Harz an. Das DWC-System läuft stabil: frische Nährlösung, klare Werte und die Wurzeln strahlend weiß. Genau so soll es in dieser Phase aussehen. Die Pflanzen nehmen sehr gut auf und zeigen keinerlei Mängel oder Stress – Farbe, Struktur und Wachstum sind voll im grünen Bereich. Das Klima bleibt konstant und das Setup arbeitet sauber zusammen. Licht, Luft und CO₂ greifen perfekt ineinander, wodurch die Pflanzen richtig Tempo machen. Fazit: Sehr starke Woche. Gesunde Pflanzen, satte Farbe, stabile Blütenentwicklung. Alles bereit für die nächsten Wochen, in denen die Buds jetzt richtig zulegen werden. 🌱🔥

Topped her at day 24, some LST at day 27. At day 27 each lady got 2 l water + 0.7g/l BioEnhancer lets see if they like it…

Start of week 10 am amazed at their transition, gave them a light trim last night to allow some light through. All 8 have pistils but we have 1 that is developing slower with only a few on it, the rest are covered in pre flowers. Have increased feeding to 3L per day and barely getting any runoff. Gradually increasing the volume to achieve 10-20%. It appears that once everything is dialled in they get hungry! Increased feeding to 4 litres daily 6 out of 8 plants had less than 50ml runoff, next feed will increase to 5L, the other 2 I will keep at 4L as they had good runoff. PH was on the higher side on the smaller ones so will do a drip clean mix to flush out the salts May have a male or hermie in there not sure yet I thought I’d seen pistils but not so sure now… while the others are covered in pre flowers this one just isn’t the same.. who knows maybe a late bloomer? Confirmed 24 hrs later definitely a rooster in the hen house. Chopped his neck! Started with 10.. now 7 remain. Silver linings is the girls have more breathing room now

Still growing strong here. I am going to give them another week, then time for a flip to 12-12. Not gonna get caught out with a massive plant again! Growing patterns seem very similar to before which is a good sign that the genetics are stable. Good show RQS!

Plants rebounded completely, no deficiencies to be seen. Leaves were twisting from excess blowing air. Positioned fan higher, instantly solved the problem.

the plant has built an incredibly strong trunk that with great difficulty you can even shake the plant a little.The cold prevails unfortunately but the plant seems to cope with it and produ flowers

Invested in Green Planet 1 Part Nutrient System. Going to see how it finishes my buds in these last few weeks, also will use it to start my next girl. D60 - There are some amber Trichomes, but on the part of the leaves that will be cut off when I manicure, going to give it another week at most to ripen more. End of the week - Flushing down to 150ppm and hopping the buds put on a bit more size in this last upcoming week. Side note, I should have put more space between the bud sites, they are too compact and the bud sites near the middle are not able to push up through the canopy, which is limiting its growth.

Super easy week, just watering the ladies when they need it. Still concerned about the humidity so I’m going to start using my dehumidifier outside of the tent. I’ll monitor the humidity each day and set my humidifier on a schedule based upon the data collected. Soon I’ll be adding in another layer of netting to help support the branches and space them out more for better airflow and a more “sea of green” look. I usually vegetate for longer but I wanted to see if I could shorten my grow times and produce about the same results. Time will tell!

I will make a guess at the males in this bath based of the fast growth and experience. Time will tell I love the progress thus far.

Moin moin, In dieser Woche habe ich mich hauptsächlich darauf konzentriert die Pflanze Triebe auf eine Höhe zu bekommen. Das tue ich indem ich die Segelblätter immer wieder vorsichtig nach unten biege. So kommt mehr Licht an die Triebe und sie wachsen dadurch schneller. In den letzten Tagen habe ich dann die 2 unteren Triebe mit den jeweiligen Blatt entfernt. Das sorgt für eine bessere Zirkulation unter den Blättern.

Not too much to report here . Added 3 new pieces of “equipment” 1. Plant watering saucers 2. Small electric dehumidifier 3. Even smaller non-electric dehumidifier Anywho , still only watering when dry with PH’d water & LSTing . The growth rate I would describe as moderate . One of the 3 GDPs have thrown preflower pistals at the very end of week 3 which is disappointing but I’ll trudge on & try & get 5 minimum 4 solid weeks of veg out of the other two . That’s pretty much all to report , another week in the books 📚 here at the GreeneScene

The plant in the foreground has really has started to change from white hairs to orange, the second lady who was stunted early on, still has very platinum white hairs, but her buds are fattening nicely. The smell went from a beautiful sweet and earthy smell to a very heavy sweet and skunky smell. I absolutely love it. Two more weeks to harvest, and I am very excited. I made the mistake of brushing my arm against a bud while filming this, even after washing my arm with soap twice i still smell like dank bud!

P-Boost, a phosphorus booster, is a soluble wonder that not only enhances blooming but also contributes to improved water pH. It's like giving our Cherry Cola a backstage pass to a nutrient orchestra. Moved to tent and topped with some low stress training as well nothing crazy so far just waiting for the bottom nods to stretch out for more training. Feeding is just Ro water ph'd between 6.5 to 7.0. Will feed nutrients if I see a deficiency so maybe in 2 weeks.

All going well, consuming a lot of water compared to my previous 2 grows, which I expect is a good sign. For my first grow I just used Blumat cones. This caused the roots to congregate on the cones and they subsequently got nutrient damage, the grow went okay but water consumption was low as blumats can only deliver 200ml per day and I only had 3 in place. For my 2nd grow I manually watered top down and consumption was around 1l in the mid to late stages. With the autopot used in this grow water usage is a lot higher. I've noted 2l a day but it's possibly higher as it's harder to measure. Perhaps it's purely the genetics but anecdotally it suggests I was under watering before. I very much recommend the autopots for the lazy gardener!

Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load.
