*ADVISE NEEDED* The day before yesterday I discovered a huge error in my system. I placed filter material in the feed-throughs of the breeding boxes. This is to prevent the roots from growing together over time. However, what I caused with that is very difficult to explain. The bottom line is that the distribution of food and circulation was actually not good at all. This also explained the differences in the water temperature, but also PH and EC values. That is now completely under control because it now runs stably for 2 days. However, you can see that the records have had a bad start. I am thinking about starting over. Week 3. Week 2 was looking for the correct settings for my system. I found out that the temperature in the bins is quite different. When I set the water chiller to 19 degrees, it all flows fine into the first container. There it rises about 0.5 degrees per bin. The margin of the chiller is about 1 degrees, causing too many fluctuations in the system, with tray 1 becoming too cold and the last one too cold. I solved this by shielding the box at the inlet of the tent with heat-protective foil. I also put a fan on the water chiller. If that catches on, the entire loft heats up, whith more fluctiations. However, I have enough space to measure very precisely and I am getting more and more control. I think the brown leaves were the cause of much too hot water. Since I have the water temperature under control, I see that the new leaves are growing nicely. Moreover, since yesterday (13-5) I received the nutrition. 10 days late. I just finish the root scheme I think. That is still 3 days a 70 mm per day combined with BioBizz Heaven. I tried to take some pictures of the roots and some close ups. Sep 27: did a Final Flush in preparation for harvest next weekend. Oct 1: I’m not sure if the buds would be described as lacking a calyx but this phenotype does not have nice buds. She has put on weight lately and smells nice so it will be good harvest that will be made into a concentrate. I’m going to be busy this weekend harvesting all three of my remaining cannabis plants. Oct 2: colas are getting heavy and one stem actually split leaving one side hanging down. The scrog nets were still holding it together. Decide to start harvest with colder weather forecast for this weekend. Holy crap. The buds on this phenotype are not good, but it is producing way more resin than my other three plants during hash washing. Harvested 2171 g of wet buds and sugar leaves. When dried, this would be about 435 g and there is another chunk of about 600 g wet still to go. From that 2171 g I got 125 g of wet resin (most of the water pressed out on 25 micron mesh), or 5.76% from wet. That is better than other recoveries so far this year were about 3-4%. With this resin production, she has earned back a couple of reviews stars. Update: on my other grows I wasn’t letting fresh buds freeze in ice water for long enough so I got poor recovery. Oct 4: harvested final of three chops. Was 880 g wet today which went for ice water hash. Total wet is 3051 g which would be equivalent to about 640 g of dried buds. Got better recovery this round using more ice to make it all colder before starting the wash. oh well, didn't maximize hash recovery off another huge plant. Live and learn. In 2025, in Edmonton, Canada at 53 N latitude, I got just over six (6) pounds (2780 g) of dried bud equivalent off of four outdoor plants. Lol

Been giving her plain water for the last two weeks. Started chopping on her Sunday. I’ve taken the the biggest colas first hoping some of the lower smaller buds may fatten a bit. I’ve been trimming for 3 days. She’s super resinous! Wet trimmed the first half of her and will be dry trimming the rest. I’ve left a few buds on the plant. Experimenting a bit going to see if I can get the remaining buds to hermie and get some seeds. I know the seeds could carry the hermie gene if it works. I was thinking of using them for some gorilla grows the summer.

D22. First day of the fourth week, one week away from the automatic flower switch. Strong grow, 28cm high and more than 30cm spread, they made 10cm stretch the last three days since last watering on day 19, today the leafs were pointing down and the digital tensiometer was measuring 71mbar in the bottom of the pots. Today I watered again, this time instead of the usual 500ml each I went closer to 5% of the pots giving em 1L each pH to 6.0 and kept EC in 0.9 from base of 0.4 cal-mag, used biobizz grow, hygrozyme 1ml/L and bactohemp, lowered pH with phosphoric acid. I'll start to LST anytime but today I just cut off everything in the first floor to clear the base since it's already in complete shadow. Next step will be to guide them in order to achieve a flat canopy. The lazy plant is getting stronger everyday but leaf color is diferent than their sisters being same strain, will see how she end up next weeks 💪 D25. At three days from fifth week and official flower switch they keep growing strong like 35 to 40cm high and 35 to 40cm spread but after some leaf anomalies and after watering yesterday I saw something weird in the yellow sticky traps, they were full of black pigment and after check em under microscope they seem to be thrip infestation that I gonna treat with foliar phyretrine and neem oil on the soil but meanwhile I put four more sticky traps. On yesterday watering I made leaf juice mixed with cal-mag, fertilizer, bactohemp and hygrozyme, the reaction when aerating the mix was huge! I got the lazy plant higher to be able to receive similar DLI as her sisters but it still keep growing lazier than the others. I hope the fertilizers arrive in time before flower switch!

☀️ // Day 8 🌱 First week is over and it was a kinda good one. We see that she made big progress and looks just how she is supposed to with 7 days on the clock. The first three-fingered leafs are coming. But let me tell you, she was soooo mad about the transplantation on day 3 from the EazyPlug to the solo cup! 💀The rooting in the EazyPlug was good, I used a normal red cup like in my last grow just to not directly plant her into the 19L (5gal) end pot. But she instantly responded with decoloring of the leafs from the tips, which fortunately got better after 2 days. Now she is completely stable again with a lush green color. She got some scars from it tho, as you can see on her leafs. It was just a shock I guess, so I am not particularly looking forward to her repotting into the final pot. I mixed all the 20L of soil at once, just to have the end pot already prepared. I used the normal BioBizz Light Mix and spiced it up with 50g/10L Startrex, 50g/10L Silicium Flash and 1 tablespoon of Mycotrex for the transplantation hole. I didn't use an organic fertilizer tablet for the solo cup since it's not really needed and also didn't use Bactrex and Orgatrex yet. That I'll do in the end pot because the solo cup should have plenty of nutrients for the first 2 weeks. I watered the solo cup till saturation with tap water, root juice and epsom salt because of the bad CalMag-ratio of my local water. The soil is still moist, so I think that watering to saturation is even in a small cup like this not needed in the beginning. 💦 Watering: 0,2 L with pH = 6.2 💊 Fertilizer: Startrex, Silicium Flash, Mycotrex, Root Juice, Epsom salt 💡 Light: 200 PPFD at 30%

Well I made a few upgrades since last week. First I went ahead and invested in a nice A/C unit. I also, improved the exhaust setup. I went ahead and took a plant out and germinated another ( I wanted to add a different strain. Lol). The ladies seem to be doing pretty well. They are all on their 4th or 5th node.
