Two weeks Update on week 3

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

It was a great nine week flower, there were no issues during growth and was solid all around. The Spliff genetics is great with there signature colas.. the plants took to the nutrients very well, I thought I was running a little high on my ppm on beginning of grower but it all leveled out and nothing burned the leaves or bugs. I used general hydroponics flora pro series, with fish sh!t all the way threw!!!

Die letzten Wochen vor der Ernte waren echt noch ein auf und ab der Gefühle. Das Wetter, sehr feucht und kalt, hat es mir leider echt schwer gemacht. Budrod in einer Cola der Pineapple Express 😮‍💨 Die Cola stand deutlich im Windschatten, deshalb hoffe ich, dass sich die Pilz nur in dem Mikroklima ausbreiten konnten, die Sporen sind ja aber überall... Jetzt hängt alles zum trocknen und ich muss die Buds genau untersuchen, später bei trimmen werde ich ganz genau jeden Bud mir von Innen anschauen. Außerdem ist mir die Lemon Orange deutlich abgekackt. Die krasse Geldfärbung kam innerhalb von zwei Tagen. Ich glaube es kam mit einer trockenen Phase mit hängenden Blättern kurz zuvor, in der ich 1-2 Tage zu spät gegossen habe. Hat das Bodenleben wohl garnicht verkraftet. Die Pineapple Express hat aber echt von allen den intensivsten und süßesten Duft. Update nach dem trocknen. Wirklich mit Abstand die schönsten Buds aus dem Grow. Der Geruch ist wirklich sehr intensiv, wirklich krasse terps. Süßlich, fruchtig, ein Schlag in die Fresse. Und high macht es auch echt ordentlich 🙏

I'm hoping the 3 sativas on the right will be able to fill space quickly enough to flip before Lois takes over the entire tent.

October 6th! Got the Gorilla Zkittlez transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pot. Now to do the Diesel Berry! See you guys next week!

🌸 Week 5 Flower – RollerCoaster Haze 🌸 The RollerCoaster Haze girls are thriving in mid-flower, building structure and stacking buds at an incredible pace. Both phenos are stretching into the canopy with strength, white pistils everywhere, and flower sites developing beautifully. The plants are balanced, vibrant, and showing no signs of stress, just healthy, determined growth. 💧 Nutrition & Feeding This week we’ve adjusted the recipe, stopping the All-in-One Liquid completely as the soil and pellets still provide plenty of slow-release nutrition. The focus now is on a lean, targeted bloom feed, keeping the roots active without oversaturating. Current recipe (all at 1ml/L): • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Plagron Green Sensation • Plagron Sugar Royal • Plagron Power Buds Solution runs steady at pH 6.0–6.1 with EC balanced to complement the soil’s reserves. The results speak for themselves: stalks, roots, and leaves are thriving, and the flowers are coming on strong. Environment • Soil Temp: ~24°C • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa Airflow, extraction, and monitoring keep the conditions stable. Despite the size of these girls, they’re handling the environment perfectly. 💡 Inner Canopy Lighting – ICL300 This week I want to highlight the role of the ICL300 inner canopy lights. These lights are designed to deliver light where traditional overhead fixtures can’t: deep inside the canopy. Why does this matter? • As plants stretch and leaves overlap, the lower branches and bud sites often receive far less light. Without supplemental lighting, these inner flowers stay smaller, less dense, and less developed. • Inner canopy lights like the ICL300 solve this by pushing photons directly into those shaded areas, ensuring the lower and middle buds get the energy they need to bulk up. Spectrum: The ICL300 units provide a balanced white spectrum with a red push, tailored to maximize flowering response while avoiding heat stress. This means not only are the tops getting stacked, the inner and lower flowers are also swelling, making for a more even, consistent harvest. The difference is visible already: the RollerCoaster Haze girls aren’t just top-heavy. The mid-canopy sites are developing beautifully, with structure filling out in layers instead of just one dominant top. 🌼 Pistils: White Hairs Everywhere At Week 5, pistils (the fine white hairs that emerge from each calyx) are one of the clearest signs of flower development. They serve two major purposes: • Reproduction: pistils are part of the female flower’s reproductive system, designed to catch pollen if it’s present. • Growth indicator: the color, abundance, and orientation of pistils give us a direct look into the maturity of the flower. Some genetics push out bright white pistils, while others lean slightly toward cream, yellowish, or even orange tones earlier in bloom. This variation is completely normal and tied to the plant’s lineage. At this stage, the RollerCoaster Haze girls are full of vigorous white pistils, standing tall and reaching outwards. This shows they are actively building flowers and pushing energy into new calyx formation. It’s also a reminder that this week is about observation: watching how the pistils evolve will tell us not only about maturity, but also about how each pheno expresses itself. Later on, pistils will darken and curl inward as the calyxes swell, but right now, their abundance and brightness are a clear signal of healthy, strong flowering. 🌱 Observations • Bud sites are stacking with strong pistil production. • Inner canopy looks healthy and productive thanks to the ICL300. • Plants remain lush, green, and full of energy. • Root systems are still vigorous, visible at the soil surface. ✨ Reflection Week 5 Flower shows how balance in nutrition, environment, and lighting can work together to create truly explosive growth. Well let me start out by saying DONT LISTEN TO YOUTUBE BULLSHI** .. LOL almost lost all of my plants to nutrient burn it completely ate my Blueberry #1 and took out one of my washing machines.. I have my (WM) chilling out in the 2 gallon pot still and probably will flower it in there.. good thing is I got more space now for my other babies!! We flushed the 2 gallon pots completely and transplanted as soon as we could to stop any more damage from happening. Thankfully saved 8 of the 10 girls and brought them back to full health . I can definitely tell how much it slowed them down because now that they have the right climate and feed they’ve been exploding in growth ..///I wanted to do my own thing when it came to training so I had a couple experiments 🧐 I honestly can’t wait for this grow to finish because I’m bringing in an auto pot system for the next run I’ll be running some fire (Wet Betty seeds from exotic genetics) well anyways here they are!!

Going good so far. I am shocked how little water I have had to feed them honestly. My preperation has paid off very well. 6/13/2024 Day 22 Temp: 82 F RH: 70% VPD: 1.17kPa I went ahead and chopped the middle plant. Mycelium is appearing below and that’s rad! I lowered the plant off the crate I had it on and went ahead and raised the light power to 10/10 because my PAR was good. All plants are showing pistils now. Bloom/Flower has begun. Light distance 18 inches now light power 10/10 50kLux 6/14/2024 Day 23 Temp: 87 RH: 65% VPD: 1.48kPa Plant #1 11 inches Plant #3 8 inches Light to plant 12 and 14 inches KLux at 10/10 65 & 45 Water good, mycelium growing all over. By the time I get back on Sunday the water should be gone, the plants will be huge and I’ll have to hurry to move the light lol. I don’t like how hot it’s staying but I’m afraid to turn it off because how cold it gets at night. 6/18/2024 Day 27 Temp: 75.6 F RH: 58% VPD: 1.25kPa Plant #1 height: 18 inches! I disconnected the humidifier and plugged in the heater into the UIS plug so that I can start controlling the heat at night.

Its finally harvest day.

Day 60: Using LST and FIM Lemon's canopy looks great all the sites exposed to light. Orange is getting taller.. so we'll see how it'll end up. The yellowing leaves might actually be light burn they're pretty close to the light, but the sugar leaves are a bit more protected. I might go back to 20:4 in terms of light schedule or lower the shelf. Smell wise even Lemon's non sugar leaves have a very lovely scent. I'll get back to the scent profile another day.

Day 8

Eventful week for the girls... threw in another 95w LED to finish out flower and to grow an extra plant or two next run. Checked the trics on the leftmost plant and they were almost all cloudy and even starting to turn amber in a couple spots, so I decided it was time to chop her. Probably gonna take the other smaller plant down soon as well. The tallest plant is still looking larfy as hell but I'm hoping she'll thicken up a little over the next week or two.

Plant two is doing a little better color wise. Something is going on with the leaves of plant one mostly. Maybe it is because i was using overflow water straight from the air conditioning unit instead of the tap? I'm having to pull a lot of dead leaves off

end of week 4 I have finished heavy defoliations, now just plucking one or two loose fans here and there. Stretch has totally stopped (finally whew!) and stacking has really begun on the colas. lots of new pistils at bud sights, very few but early signs of some orange pistils, but majority still all white. the smell has gotten outrageous. Nemo smells literally like a blueberry patch! after I defoliate her my hands smell like i was smashing blueberries all day long! V has a more distinct lemon scent, with undertones of mint, basil and spicey peppers. Occasionally the mix smells like a gasey pinesol, but I'm not sure which one the petrol smell is coming from, I'm guessing V, she's a unique boquet for sure! I am not sure if it is heavy 16 full line, or because I have been religious about getting lots of compost tea feeds, but I've NEVER had a run smell so strong, and so distinct this early! I'm stoked to watch these buds fatten up!
