Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. Day 1 of week 4. Decided to do some LST on her. First time using dry amendments for Nutes and I must say I definitely recommend. Added them to the soil before I planted her and she’s shown no signs of deficiency.

All in all this was an amazing harvest I usually have around 8-10 plants and harvest anywhere from 24-36 ozs per harvest with the 8 plants I had this harvest including the biscotti mintz and cookies USA I ended up with 898g total dry weight with all top quality flower. I’ve learned some things with all my previous runs when it comes to dialing in my quality and yield and definitely watching for those herms because I like to push my plants to the max when it comes to training ! Week #9 of flowering is done, great week this week, still inching closer and closer to harvest day, all of the ladies except for the largest will start their flush today, I’d like to push that out to atleast 10-14 days if possible, this will insure I get a beautiful fade into harvest as well as mouth watering tastes and aromas coming off this flower, however with using final phase I’ve learned I can execute a proper and tasty flush in just 7 days if needed. Everyday I feel the smells are getting more and more intense becoming a hassle for my 4” carbon filter to keep up. Hopefully we continue to finish strong this last week or two! It will be exciting 😍

Week 3: Since this is my first grow, I love to see how quickly the cannabis plant grows, and it's accelerating rapidly. They are thriving and healthy. This week, I used fertilizer for the first time, starting with half the amount recommended in the feeding schedule. 0,5/ml per liter.

Plant is 6 weeks from seed tomorrow, I have upped nutes to 3ml per litre of both A +B Canna coco nutrients for a couple of waterings but she's soon started showing nute burn again so i've lowered to 2.75ml . Stretch has slowed right down and I'm hoping will stop very soon

4 days after repotting the plants have started to take in nutrients. The Fan leaves are looking healthy and the roots are starting show at the bottom of the pots. I’m hoping to keep them in these pots for another 10 days. The Alienz seedling is approximately 2 weeks behind the other two, it seems to be following the same growth as the others so I’ll probably repot it in a few days. At the moment it’s a little overwatered

Tonight on growfessor theatre, 4x4 edition, 4 ladies get fed and defoliated! Green Crack, LSD and Mandarin dreams are in the home stretch, this is their last feeding before flushing. So the increase in feed is going well and the plants are drinking more and more. I measured the heights of them and adjusted the lights as one of them was not level. might have been that way since last adjustment, I kept hearing some poping noises coming from the tent so could have been that as well. #1 33cm #2 28cm #3 27cm #4 18cm #5 38cm #6 43cm #4 is much shorter then the rest of its peers, but we will see how it goes long term. As I though some slight yellowing on leaf tips but nothing crazy, PH going in at 6.2 coming out at 6.49 not bad, matching the trend in EC difference. EC going in at 1.4 coming out aorund 1.0 So might want more food but more frequently vs more at one time. I could try and get into a new watering routine but I really don't want to. Something easy maybe to mix up a jug that I just give them between normal watering that has light feed in it and will not get runoff with it. The runoff to prevent salt buildup can come from the main watering. Also found a weird looking something growing on plant #3 medium. Took some photos of it. Looks alien. going to let it grow, that plant is doing fine.

I initiated the germination process using coco jiffy pods, which provide an ideal environment for seeds to sprout due to their moisture-retaining properties and good aeration. After three days, when the first signs of germination were visible - likely small roots emerging from the seeds or possibly the first cotyledons - I carefully transplanted the seedlings into larger pots. For this next phase, I used living soil from 'Couple of Plants'. These soil contain nutrient-rich teeming with beneficial microorganisms, creating a natural ecosystem that promotes efficient nutrient uptake and healthier plant growth, setting the stage for robust development in the coming weeks.

Hi everyone :) girls are in 52nd day today. They showed some more cal&mag deficiency on the leafs last week but ph is fine, just over 6.5. I check it every day with apera ph meter. Every day looks bigger so that’s good sign too :) good experience on the beginning my adventure to look after ph :) every second day when I’m watering I’m cut a handful of leaves. It’s so tightly that’s why but I’m trying to be gently how it’s possible :) I made usefull all space But I can see with bigger tent I could take some more from baby’s :) but that waste goal 😝 screen of the green :) take care guys, will back soon with another update! **Wednesday 4/21/2021 - Tuesday 4/27/2021** This week I dropped my A+B nutes from 9ml/Gal to 6ml/Gal and CalMag from 5ml/Gal to 2.5ml/Gal. This is also the one week of using Top Booster. From here on out I'll be using Top Shooter to finish. Overall this week has gone pretty good. I did some medium defoliation on Thursday and Saturday, and took a leaf or two here and there in between. I've been able to keep my humidity in pretty decent shape overall. You'll notice I started taking pictures with my light off later in the week. They do look better that way for sure. I don't have the greatest camera and I'm certainly no photographer. I can't really think of anything else to say really, just keep on trucking to the finish line!
