Why RQS Strains Underperformed The 7/10 rating and "needed a lot of power to switch to flower" comment is classic for some RQS genetics, especially certain autos or hybrids. its day 35 since sproud and surag black rose is looking very good. grows the fastest looks the healthiest. Also trained her with the bending clips to make the branches stronger. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

This is week 2

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Hello beautifull people! These are the final weeks. Started flushing this week. Strictly water! Im having a hard time keeping the humidity low... So i placed two passive dehumidifiers. 1 in and 1 outside the tent. And i have a fan blowing air over the buds. Lets hope that will suffice. Dont want to use high power using equiment. Power here is hella expensive. Added a vid displaying juicy nugs.

day 1 - flower week 6 has now started and i want to H²O stress her in the next 2-3 weeks in hope to get her metabolism to work faster. it works by fakeing that the plant has a dry year and might not have enought water to stay alive till she can reproduce. so she starts to work faster and goes turbo (bro science explainaition). thats what i want to try here so dont expect it to work out perfectly. i watered her every day before this week and i will reduce by about 40%. i will still spray the soil every day a little bit when the light turns on but only every other day she will get her usual water dosage (about 600-700ml)

This girl is growing amazingly and she stinks you Thai Mint 😍 She’s definitely my one of favourite strains. Most of her pistils have receded and once they have all done I’ll start checking her trichomes. I think it’ll be around 2 weeks before harvest and a bud wash. Happy growing 🤙🏿

6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year. 6/23 WATERED EVERYTHING. USED FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS. EVERYTHING GOT AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. Despite the rain we got and the bags still having some heft I decided to water. It's 80 at 9am. It's supposed to he in the upper 90's today and coukd break 100° tomorrow. I hate that the grow bags are black. That's way to hot for the plants. I should find some empty soil bags and wrap the black fabric for a couple days. A sunscreen might help but I doubt much. We'll see how it goes. 6/24 It's 90° at 9am. It's supposed to break 100° amd stay there a while. Up to 106°. Plants looked awesome this morning. I wasn't sure what I'd find. Today is the worst of the days. If it didn't break 100 yesterday it was damn close all day and the girls look GREAT. I WATERED AGAIN TODAY. I USED 6.5 GALLONS TO WATER THE GARDEN. It was nice cool well water too so they should like that. Branches are getting longer and I'm training as the get bigger. I need to put up the trellis but I'm not doing it in this heat. EDIT: 90° @ 6PM WENT OVER AND AS PREDICTED THE TWO TENS WERE DROOPING. IM WONDERING IF THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH IM THOSE TENS. LAST YEAR I HAD ONE THAT WAS HUGE IN A TEN BUT IT JUST DEVELOPED INDIVIDUAL CALYXS WITHPUT CONNECTING. CHECK IT OUT ON LAST YEARS DIARY. IM LOVING MY STRAIN CHOICES RIGHT NOW. 6/25 It's super humid out but much cooler. I think it's like 80 at noon time. I had to water the two tens this morning. I didn't really HAVE to but I did. I filled up my watering can that says it holds 1.5 gallons (but it seems like more) and watered the two tens at least a half gallon and focused the rest on the 10th planet in the 30 and the other one up front that gets lighter than the rest. I was fully planning on watering EVERYTHING this morning but I could feel moisture in the soil and they had weight. I'm pretty sure I made the right decision. Especially with humidity so high. Either way I'll check tonight. EDIT: WENT TO THE GROW AT APPROX 2:30PM. I HAD BO IDEA HOW HOT IT WAD OUTSIDE. IT WAS 87° BUT THE HUMIDITY IS DAMN NEAR 100%! I HAD WATERED SHIT A KOT LATELY AMD WANTED TO WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING. THE TWO 10'S (WITH GIANT PLANTS THAT IM NOT SURE CAN FINISH IN TENS) WERE DRY AND LIGHT. A COUPLE SPECIFIC PLANTS WETE A "LITTLE" LIGHTER THAN THE REST. I MIXED UP THE WATERING CAN WHICHVIS 2.5 AND ANOTHER GALLON. I USED THE WATERING CAN ON THE PLANTS IN THE FRONT. THE CHEMDOG #4 WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LIGHTER THAN THE REST SO I GAVE IT MOST OF A GALLON. THE PLANTS THAT ARE STILL HEAVY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT LONGER BEFORE I WATER THEM. 6/26 This morning I came over to substantially lighter bags. I watered everything but the 50 with 5.5 gallons of water. Plants amd roots are getting heavier. My intuition told me to water that 10th planet but it was still wasn't TOTALLY dry. This happens a few times a year during hot stretches. It will be fine by the time I'm back. I've also noticed that the pink kush in the 50 (the only one that didn't use ALL new soil) is a substantially lighter green than every other plant in the garden. Boy I'm glad that heat wave is over. It's 67° at 9:30 that's much better. I'll update as I go. I'm still thinking about light depping the 10s. EDIT: HASN'T BROKE 70 YET AS OF NOONTIME. I THINK I MAY HAVE GONE A LITTLE OVERBOARD WITH THE WATER. TH8NGS LOOK ALRIGHT AMD THERE'S A GOOD BREEZE SO EVEN IF I DID THEY'LL DRY OUT QUICK. SO MUCH GROWTH SO FAST! ITS PAST TIME TO GET MY IPM GOING ANYWAY. DURING ONE OF THESE COOLER DAYS IM GOING TO HAVE TO PREEMPTIVELY TREAT MY PLANTS. EITHER BT, CAPTAIN JACK OR PLANT DOCTOR IS WHAT I HAVE ON HAND AT LEAST. I HAVE CITRIC ACID AND K BICARB BUT HOPFULLY NONE OF THAT WILL BE NECESSARY. THE WIND IS FAR TO STRONG FOR A MITE POPULATION TO GET OUT OF CONTROL WHICH IS AWESOME. IM MAINLY WORRIED ABOUT THE PATHOGENS. 6/27 Rained last night but I don't think very much. Its much cooler. Went from 100 to 70 in a day. Plants did good to take those fluctuations. They are still SLIGHTLY overwatered with the mk ultra with the big fan leaves being the MOST over watered. There's a breeze today though and it's sunny blue skies. I think showers ate possible tomorrow at 4a.m. and it says showers throughout tomorrow to which sucks. I was hoping to get a couple nice days to dry the plants out. The 10s are light again but the soil is still moist. It's hard when it's so hot to water the correct amount. At least it is for me. Killed a couole moths and a pillar. I noticed the first sign of pest damage so it's time to get out and start the IPM. I'm hoping for no pathogens. I'll update as I go along. EDIT: IT'S 75° AT 11:30. That mk ultra with the massive leaves still looks overwatered. One of the plants in the 10s looks the same but that one is light but the soil is moist. The MK ULTRA is still holding some weight and the soil is still damp. It's not the AMOUNT of water I've given them that's the problem it's the FREQUENCY that ive HAD to water that messed me up. Going from 70° to 100° overnight for several days kinda messed me up. It's improving though. I lifted it and it doesn't seem TO heavy. The soil is still slightly moist. I hope that I don't get so involved with thinking the plants are overwatered that they are actually under watered. I think I need to increase volume when watering and treat each vacant differently (which I have for the most part). I'm usually very measured and careful but it is what it is. No more water for a little while. Other than thecshowers at 4a.m. and the showers expected tomorrow. Surprisingly the small time I was away allowed the plants to show a pretty drastic improvement. EDIT #2 WENT BACK DOWN AT FOUR TO CHECK THINGS OUT. THE MK ULTRA I WAS WORRIED ABOUT IS DOING MUCH BETTER. EVERYTHING (SANS ONE IN 10) IS LOOKING MUCH BETTER. I DUG DOWN AND CAN TELL THERES MOISTURE IN THAT SOIL IN THE TEN THATS A LITTLE DROOPY. THATS WHY ID RATHER UNDER WATER TGAN OVER WATER. UNDERWATER AND YOU JUST GIVE THEM A DRINK AND THEY PIP RIGHT BACK. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GET SHOWERS TOMORROW EARLY MORNING. HOPFULLY NOT MUCH. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO HOLD OFF ON WATERING THAT PLANT IN THE TEN. THE OTJER IS THE SAME WEIGHT AND LOOKS GREAT. WASNT PLANNING ON GOING DOWN SO UNFORTUNATELY I DIDNT HAVE MY PHONE ON ME. 6/28 Rained hard last nightcand showers all day. Plants don't look to bad off though. I think I wad watering to frequently with not enough volume. That AND the fact that we are having 35° temp swings. That has made it hard for me to keep the plants on any k9nd of a schedule for watering. I believed that plants were overwatered but since we've gotten all this rain some seem to have slightly improved. These are resilient strains and will probably be alright. I took a quick video. I'm REALLY CONSIDERING light depping the two tens.

We have arrived at the time of harvest for our two Runtz I divide them respectively in the last two weeks to help you distinguish them and because having shot a lot I would like you to look carefully at what we are talking about and please deepen the vision of the trichomes that characterize each plant. They seem similar but you can notice differences and in the macros also look at other details such as the surface of the leaves, really very beautiful. The plants are not giants by definition, this is a very stable strain with not very high heights, the yield is always medium high but the strong point is certainly the quality of the flower: density, hardness and above all scary resin combined with a super romantic purple shade arrived with the cold in the final. I must say at this point I will definitely grow another photo period again , it startet very slow but it has some nice big buds now 👍

This week I transplanted them from the AC Infinity Seed Starter to their 5 gal grow bag or their final pot! I like to make my own super soil out of Root Organics Formula 707, Coco Coir, Perlite, Vermiculite, and amendments. Then I placed a hole in the middle of the 5 gal grow bag, for the plant being transplanted, and placed the young seedling into the hole. Then I lightly covered around the base of the young seedling. Then I watered with 250mL of pH balanced H20! From there that's it just checking on it daily and watering as needed daily with plain pH balanced H20. Then I amended the soil with 4-4-4, 4-6-3, Blood Meal, Bone Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. Then I gave nutrients every other day. First General Hydroponics MaxiGrow then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then amended the soil as noted above. Then plain pH balanced H20 the next day. Then I would feed The Stash Blend and then plain pH balanced H20. Then the General Hydroponics MaxiGrow and then plain pH balanced H20. Then Real Growers Soil Recharge and finally plain pH balanced H20 to finish the week off. I always pH at 6.0 for nutrient solutions and 6.8 for my plain pH balanced H20. My temps for solutions were 72° and ppm was 800-850 with EC 1600-1700. I always use my oxygenated H20 that is monitored by a professional meter and so are it's levels! I have oxygenated H2O with a pump ready to go at all times! This way I can just scoop up the water and go on demand without having to worry! All and all they're growing well and gaining a ton daily!!

12/22/21 - The plants look great! We have taken some fan leaves off. Keeping the airflow moving to avoid any powdery mildew. We are going to make topical salve with trim and popcorn nugs. We usually make butter for edibles but we’ll try something new. 12/23/21 - They look really good. Today we have fresh water for a semi flush. We will begin with nutrients and then flush 10 days before harvest. 12/24/21 - The humidity is finally on our side, ranging between 40-50%. We are very happy and excited as the buds continue to grow! 12/25/21 - Merry Christmas! The plants look great! Lots of neat colors in there. Each strain is showing off its own color. Check out todays pictures. 12/26/21 - They look really good today. Humidity is at 45%. Harvest is coming up pretty quick and we are excited. 12/27/21 - Looking good today. Just feeding them and letting them flower away. The buds are getting pretty big and dense. 12/28/21 - They look insane. Week 14 from Seed – Week 3 of Flower – Full Bloom Ahead The garden is shifting, and so are the vibes — we’re now stepping into the serious stages of the Eternity Grow Cup. Week 3 of flower, and what a beautiful time it is. The girls are officially locked into bloom mode and starting to show their power, stretching with grace and stacking flowers that promise magic. They’ve filled up the SCROG like it was meant for them — one look, and you can feel the energy radiating off the canopy. We started this week a little on the chilly side, with temps dropping down to 16°C, but we found the rhythm. By the end of the week, we had it all dialed in: 24°C with 60% humidity, giving us a clean and steady VPD of 1.22 kPa. CO₂ is rolling at 1107 ppm, and let me tell you, the girls are loving every part of it. They’re responding like pros — strong, healthy, compact, with early signs of dense flower sites setting in all over the canopy. The ICL 300s are fully in play now, and they’re doing a spectacular job. Light penetration is even, and the plants are soaking it up. We’re still holding off on UV, just letting the full spectrum and reds do their thing for now. We’ve updated our feeding too — we’re now into Week 4 of the Aptus Holland Clean Program, and we are about to introduce Plagron Green Sensation into the mix. A little booster to spice up the bloom and get those flower stacks rising to the challenge. The water temps were a struggle — stuck at 14°C — so we dropped in a classic aquarium water heater, and now we’re sitting at a comfy 20°C. Small changes, big impacts. You can see it in the leaves, in the way they pray up toward the light. This week’s visuals? 7/18 Plants are looking great. I was able to rearrange the plants so they have a little bit more space and so I can get around every plant. I have small random pest damage (i.e. I caught a four lined plant bug while hunting jpn beetles) but not enough h to warrant treatment. I will probably spray before flower. Sun's out amd plants were praying. I rotated a couple and it only took a few hours for them to "straighten out." I went to look again rhis morning and made the final determination to expand the cage. I'm looking for the 2x4's and the wire in the next couple days. The work that ive done now will but me sometime. I wonder how this rain impacted my soil. 7/19 Plants are looking fantastic. The stretch is starting. One purple punch looks like it's beginning to flower. I think I'm entering the transition period. Jpn beetle damage is evident but not significant. I defoliated a leaf with a a leafminwr or something in it. It's so much easier to get around the plants now. I'm seeing some chunks missing sporadically though. Went to the roses out back and found TONS of jpn beetleson top of each other reproducing. They destroyed that rose bush. I'm going to keep it as a trap plant. My dad's girlfriend wanted to spray it but that doesn't make sense as theflowers are all gone. Dad's grabbing the materials to extend the cage today I think. Right now I can get around every plant but the two big ones in the back. I just cant get to the backs of them and they are huge. Almost reaching the top of the cage. A 4'-6' extension will do wonders in flower. Can't wait. UPDATE: Dad got the 2x4's and we assembled the extension and attached it. He's grabbing the wire as I type this. This worked out beautifully. I had no idea how big the blueberry cheese in the 50 gallon was! This extension (4ft i think) is PERFECT! Then I can get a little extra wire and pull it out if I wanted to. I think I have another 2x4 that I'm going to use in the middle. Lots of great pics and a video I'll upload tomorrow. Hot af today and humidity still super high. Even the commercial dudes was surprised I don't have wpm l and that judging by some of my plants structure that I may do better than I think. I certainly hope so. I WATERED 3 GALLONS OVER THE WHOLE GARDEN. The blueberry cheese in smart pots were drooping. They drink far more water than tje others. I would've given more but we are supposed to have thunderstorms. I left my back tarp off for the night. It will increase airflow and wind is down. I feel like this is going to be my year. 7/20 I updated and loaded everything on the app but notjing would save. Did it again in the website hopfully this saves i didnt put it all up. Didn't water the plants today. Bags seemed okay weight wise. Good thing I did the extension yesterday because those three plants were drooping they were so thirsty. I focused most of the water yesterday on those plants that needed it. The others were somewhat dry but still had some weight. Like i said the blc drinks much more water than any of the other plants. I'm impressed with the growth I'm seeing. Especially since I have been being very stingy with the water and I've only fed like twice and that was just the kelp me/you and big bloom in negligible amounts. I'm watching for deficiencies. I'm just not seeing them. I'm picking up the wire and finishing the extension and then rearranging things. I'll update. UPDATE: WATERED 4 GALLONS CONCENTRATING ON THE PLANTS THAT WERE DROOPING THE MOST. FINISHED ENCLOSURE AND INCREASED PLANT SPACE. TRELLIS WILL GO UP THIS WEEK. VIDEOS WILL BE UPLOADED TOMORROW. 7/21 I should've watered more volume last night. I noticed two plants that seemed much lighter than the rest. After some deliberation I gave them each a half gallon of water. One was the purple punch in the 10 that's huge amd the other was that huge blueberry cheese. I think I'm going to swap places with them, take out a pallet and get some other way to elevate that ONE plant and I'll have even more room. Then I'll add my supports. It's a dream working in there now. I noticed some small interior leaves being used up and dieing. I defoliated them but it was only a couple. I'll need to start nutes at some point. Doesn't need it yet though. I'm going to add some kelp me/you for the heat stress. I need to get the watering down better but it's more difficult when they each have different needs. I kinda have to read the plant. I'd rather be overwatered than underwatered. I tried to upload what I could but some won't. UPDATE: I went over to clip off some fencing that was doubled up AND just to check on tge girls. Found two caterpillars (small but hairy so they were older not the inch worms and possibly what has been contributing to damage on those plants. Things are spread out so it will be harder for insects to move from plant to plant and I have better air flow. I worry that leaving my tarp off might lead to high winds and plants not able to take it buf I digress. I'll add supports later. Plants are huge and drinking far more water than I've been giving them. When I got there several were drooped right over and dry as a bone. The bags are essentially all roots now. I mixed up 8 gallons of water and split it between the plants. I gave less to the two Co trainer plants that weren't drooping and the 10 I watered yesterday that wasn't drooping but for the most part the ones that needed if got at least a gallon or more. The others a little under a gallon. It might rain A LITTLE tonight too. Oh, and since it's been so hot I added 1/2 tsp per gallon of kelp me kelp you to help the plants deal with heat stress. I also noticed that some of the very bottom interior leaves are being used up. I have a feeling ill need to switch to nutes pretty soon. Plus I need to suppirt those plants if I'm going to leave that tarp off and Gove them air. Took a video. But it won't upload here. I'll have to wait till tomm. 7/22 Didn't have much timevthis morning bit I dod a video. Boy those plants loved that water and that kelp. This morning everyone was standing straight up at attention. Supposed to get rain last night but didn't. Good thing I watered. I think I'm going to up the water next watering and then again to the 10% mark if necessary. Especially with the Blueberry cheeses. I'm noticing that a FEW INTERIOR leaves are showing nute deficiencies so I'm probably going to have to start feeding soon. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back over and cut off the extra wire. I'm going to need to water more volume. Specifically on two plants. The two huge blueberry cheese in 20 gallon smart bags dries out much faster than the rest. I'll have to out that on a different schedule or increase the amount given. Next watering will be 1.5 or 2 gallons a plant and it might be tomorrow from what I was seeing. It's super hot and with the added airflow the bags dry out faster. I also went through EACH plant looking for pests and defoliating old leaves that needed it. Plants are still nice and green but a VERY few older interior leaves are showing deficiencies. I know this is Normal especially since they are trying n g to transition to flower. I also saw pest damage on a couple plants. Four lined plant bug. I already found the one on the other plant and killed it but I'm considering doing a spray before flower. I'm thinking either captain Jack as a "catch all", BT which works great but mostly just on pillars or the organocide bee safe 3 in one pesticide. I also have pyrethium and other things. Thus far picking things off manually has been good enough. At the very least they will get an application of BT very soon. 7/23 Held off on watering this morning. Supposed to get thunder storms I DID split a gallon with two blueberry cheese that were the lightest in the 20 gallon smart pots. Thet drink way more. My water volume is going to need to increase. We haven't had nearly enough rain. I'm going to bump it up to 1.5 to 2 gallons each plant which will be 10% for the 20s and a little less for the others. I'm still seeing various pest damage. Nothing bad but I found another couples leaves that were chomped on by a four lined plant bug so I'm debating applying something tonight when I water. I'm also noticing old leaves being used up and some interior leaves showing slight deficiencies. It will be time to start nutes soon. I'll update as I go. UPDATE: GOT THE FEELING I NEEDED TO CHECK THE PLANTS. SOMETHING DODNT LOOK RIGHT ON THE CAMS. WENT OVER AND EVERY PLANT BUT THE TWO I SPLIT A GALLON WITH AND THE PLANT IN THE 50 WERE DROOPED RIGHT OVER. LIFELESS. I SHOULD'VE WATERED THIS MORNING BUT I DIDNT HAVE TIME. I FIGURED THEY COULD WAIT UNTIL NIGHT. EACH PLANT GOT 1.5 GALLONS AT LEAST. I USED SIXTEEN OR SEVENTEEN GALLONS ON THE GARDEN. I GAVE EACH CONTAINER PLANT ONE GALLON AND GOT RUN OFF FROM BOTH. IM NOTICING SKIGHT FADING IN LEAVES BUT IM NOT INTRODUCING NUTES TO UNDERWATERED PLANTS. I THINK 10% IS GONNA BE TGE MAGIC NUMBER. 2 GALLONS EACH. EVEN THE 10 GALLON SMART POT. ALMLST AS BIG AS THE 30S BUT DRIES OUT QUICKER. 7/24 Plants looked fantastic this morning. Defoliated a few leaves that needed it. Showed my commercial buddy and he said things looked fantastic. Since the soils still holding nutes and I'm not seeing many deficiencies I may hold off on feeding. I'm starting early flower now. I will be using nutes soon. I think ive got the watering schedule pretty much down.
