So I found this elastic SCROG wasn't doing for me ... so I just took it off . Lucky I'm working with a VERY resilient strain as it was cloned from a mother whom in which was the survivor of my 75 plant loss. So this this was burnt to a crisp without water for a little over 14 DAYS . So I wouldn't try this with anything I wasnt sure could "take the heat" . With it off the buds just kinda flopped a bit but still retained alot of resilience; the beautiful things . Now I could name about 100 things I could have done better . But if you think your "the best grower ever " that's a pretty used minded way to look at it . But am I proud of myself . Yeah :) - slow down feed to leave terp at end . Trimming started after day 12 of drying and took about 5 hours to compete. The final yield was 508g dried flower and another 8 grams of dry sit from the trim bin. I pressed 5 oz of flower into rosin at about 22% yield for a total of 30g of rosin.

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's supposed to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furthest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear. 8/29 Everything was dry this morning. I could see the soil pulling together away from the bags. My late flowering special kush was good though. It was good to let things dry out from all that rain. We are supposed to get an inch of rain with rain tonight. I didn't want to leave the girls high and dry so I WATERED THE GARDEN STRATEGICALLY WITH 5.5 GALS. USING IT WHERE IT WAS NEEDED MOST. That way if we don't get as much rain as we are supposed to the girls will still be OK. Didn't do a video today. I decided to leave everything out and let it get the natural rain. I'm sure it will be fine. I'm going to need to stake those buds as they swell. They are getting pretty big. EVERYTHING is getting substantially bigger.

Added 7 mL of the 5 additives. PPM is 1,590. Plant is 47 inches tall. Day 49 - Checked PPM 668. Plant is 50 inches tall.

Honestly not much to say about the dry and trim, which is definitely a good thing. 12 days hanging in the tent, and the plants were ready to trim. me & the Mrs. absolutely sailed through it. Stores like a dream, and smokes the same. Not a crazy amount of flavour, but the aroma that it has is lime and cream. And the taste is more earthy and spicy. Loving and savouring every bit of it. Sorry I’m very late with this, but I’ve been busy getting my next plants started! You should see them come up soon, as I’m quite behind in my posting. I’m very happy! 🤟💚

So they dried over 16 days, they came out nice and solid some airy but all covered in fruity smelling trichomes. Very uplifting with a great fruity taste, nice day starter flower. This is a one I'll grow again and have thoroughly enjoyed growing and vaping.

Not sure how I’m doing but they look to par…. Advice is welcome. Stems are starting to purple a bit. ???? Not I see o have a pest problem. Mites or thrips. Going to get it as dry as possible. Plant seems to be doing fine

Day 50. Its last day for Autos outside, tonight indoors will be a bit less crowdy ;)) They stretched like hell, but i hope to take under control indoors. Whiteys are smallest, but fastest to flower, Diesels are huge and in full bloom, Lemonade OG still in preflower mode, but they will be massive ;)) RQS pot is pure pain. Cookie is duckleafing, curling, now fading, they didn't liked that training for sure ;))) Even Gorilla bit unhappy and still very bright. Day 52. Change of plans again... One girl indoors went hermie, so till all run is finished and tent properly washed, can't bring any plants in . Cookie is started to make leaves like rocket not weed ... pure pain in the @ss......

The Black Devil's OG is trucking along without issue, while the Northern light is a tad on the droopy side at night and is likely expecting earlier night hours. I will likely adjust my light schedule to reduce the stress. The videos posted came out pretty well, considering they came out of a cell phone camera. 400x ends up being really blurry as the phone can't focus properly to compensate, but you can still see all the bacteria dancing around. Some nematodes and ciliates there too.

Buds are getting huge and extremely frosty. Looks like growth is starting to taper down a bit which is good because the temps and humidity outside have been rough. I think shes only going to go another week or until the weather starts getting bad because i don't think she can handle another round of storms like we had last week with all these fat juicy buds.

Starting this week there will be a Mars Hydro VG40 at the bottom to boost the lower buds, they will not be as dense but will be good for some hash that's why I leave them be. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. On the first day of week 4 I did topping on the plant at 6 node. Up to this point the plant has been growing very strong and healthy as fast as Autos I have grow before. Day 22 the plant doesn't seem stressed out at all and in fact is pumping New Growth right away I thought it was going to be sad for a day or two but no way the genetics are very strong the plant is very vigorous and their leaves are starting to smell very strong to the touch and just growing by themselves. Day 24 I did some minor defoliation to allow the light to penetrate everywhere in the plant. I will continue to update thank you for reading and have a happy grow.
