Gorilla cookies has grown a lot. She is 18 inches tall! I took a picture so show viewers how much growth she has up under the main cola area. I decided that I needed to do a LST on her and tie down 4 of her stems. If you look at the pictures, you can see the LST really opened her up a lot. Looking at the weather this week, we are going to have a lot of bright, sunny days. That means I will have to water and feed my plants regularly. It will be nice to have a break from all of the rain that we have had. I bought some "Fruit Fly Sticky Traps Fungus Gnat Traps Insect Trap for Plants Kitchen Indoor Outdoor White Flies Mosquitos Fungus Gnats Flying Insects Houseplant Gifts" off of Amazon that I really like. I don't know if anyone else has a buggy problem, but it seems like every time I get a new bag of soil, there are little gnat like bugs flying around. I tried to show my viewers how many bugs the sticky traps caught. I am very interested in how my FBA Gorilla Cookies is going to grow --I usually buy 3 containers of FoxFarm nutrients but for this grow I am using Miracle Grow. Week 10 This wonderful plant is going wider (and bigger) than ever thought. Flowers are coming at a fast pace now and making a vast surface of different side branches. The skeleton of the plant is clearly visible at the pictures taken from below. The other plant is doing just fine, but rather smaller than the other one (the one that is topped). Flowers are also more abundant and the pistils from both plants are getting really fat (but slightly brown at the tips). Not really any trichomes are found and smell is still very low, more to the "plant-ish" smell than a banana smell, but that is still coming. Both plants are scheduled on 12 weeks, so we'll wait it out.

Pretty easy so far haven't feed any nutrients just plain water and great white mycorrhizae mixed with molasses. Gonna be moving them by next week to my tent and start training and topping them by the fifth node so soon 😁.

The big Potter of Gorilla Glue is doing well under the Spider Farmer G3000 light. She is starting to flower, and looking pretty healthy. Everything is looking good at thr moment. Week 6 - Transition to Flower (First Bloom Week) The Donutz squad has officially entered the bloom phase, kicking off the first week of flower in style. The upgrade to 7L pots has gone smoothly, and the plants are thriving in their new space. Monday marked the start of the flowering cycle, and everything is set up for an efficient and productive Sea of Green. Setup Adjustments: Canopy Leveling: The taller plants in the front row are left as-is, while the shorter ones in the back have been placed on top of the empty 3.7L pots. This ensures an even canopy for maximum light distribution. Defoliation: Everything under the net that wouldn’t develop into usable bud — based on past experience — has been trimmed away. The focus is now entirely on the top canopy and cola production. Nutrients & Care: Flowering Nutrients: Greenhouse Feeding Bloom is in play, with 30g applied per 7L pot (following the recommended 3-5g per liter). This should carry the plants through the stretch phase and provide a strong start for flower development. Watering: Still cruising with reverse osmosis (RO) water, keeping things clean and steady. Light Intensity: Slowly ramping up the light week by week to avoid shocking the plants, aiming for full intensity once they’ve settled into the flowering phase. Plans for the Stretch & Beyond: A second net is ready to go for after the stretch, ensuring the canopy remains supported and those fat nugs don’t collapse under their own weight. Continued monitoring of canopy height and plant health as they shift their energy into flowering. Observations: The Donutz are responding well to the flowering transition, with no visible stress. The even canopy and clean lollipop structure are setting the stage for optimal bud production. Everything is lining up perfectly for a strong flowering run. The Donutz are about to shine, and the tent is poised to deliver a heavy, uniform harvest. The Florida Gang energy is real — time to watch the nugs stack!

🗓️ WEEK 4 / DAYS 22-28 (flo) 💧 The fourth week of flowering is marked by the introduction of a PK 8/9 booster, Green Sensation, into the nutrient solution. This joins the Power Buds flowering stimulator already in use since the transition phase, precisely following the Plagron feeding schedule. Consequently, given the plant's current needs, we are increasing the concentration of phosphorus and potassium in the nutrient mix. The pH is oscillating between 5.9 and 6.2, and she is consuming approximately 3 liters per day. 🌱 The plant is now entering the full flowering stage and appears to be in great condition. She is still stretching, having grown from 54 cm to 65 cm in height this week, although this is expected to cease shortly. Encouragingly, several side branches have almost reached the same height as the central cola, which is excellent news for uniform light absorption (look at day 27 flo). Towards the end of the week, I performed another substantial defoliation, 13 days after the previous one, and also removed the lowest branches that were not receiving sufficient light. Having already undergone several defoliations during the vegetative and transition phases, the plant is responding well even to this significant intervention during this delicate stage.

Finally a sunny day in the midst of our insanely wet spring. Rain, rain and more rain, and rain in the forecast. The Japanese beetles have shown up, so I’ve made giant canna-condoms to keep the girls safe from the insatiable munchers. The girls look good, one is much smaller than the other, I call her Minnie.
