She's really starting to take off now I've corrected the lights height and strength, you'll see in the next week that I'll start having some pH issues, I'm usually an outdoor grower. This is my first indoor grow so I don't have all the stuff you need yet, I should be getting a pH pen and PPM metre soon.

I let the girls spend the whole week getting used to their new home and recover from their transplant shock before I began Low Stress Training (LST). Everything looks great in my opinion. A little on the smaller side for being so far along but I think they will burst in growth in the coming weeks. Don't forget that they will double in size during the initial flowering period. I plucked a few leaves off and tied down 2-4 branches on each plant and will continue to tie down more throughout this week. I want to keep a nice even canopy from here on out. Depending on how fast these ladies grow, I think I will be able to start super cropping soon. I'd like to get my SCROG net up so that I can start weaving branches as they continue to stretch. This is the key to getting a good yield when working with a small area such as a 5x5 tent. I expect anywhere from 28-36oz which is around 2lbs. Of course good lighting, nutrients, and good genes go a long way but sometimes you just need that extra boost to get you there and these techniques are what has worked for me (LST, SCROG, Super Cropping). The only thing I think I am lacking is Co2. I have read that I could increase my yield by up to 40%. That's incredible! I'm going to have to do some research on pricing and see what I can work out. 22cm vertical growth this week!! Now 62cm tall She's very bushy. I tried some stuff this week, bent over some branches etc, trimmed off all leaves on the main stem and some from the lower branches. I don't usually defoliate this early or this intense, but but sites were being blocked from the light, so they had to go. lets keep an eye on the results (if any) of that over the next few weeks.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Have some deficiencies or ph imbalance still troubleshooting. The pH was off but now everything is back on track. I have some amber on the watermelon, the northern light is milky from top to bottom but no amber yet The smell is pretty strong I do not feed the plants at all besides watering them with water from fish tanks. Made some live soil and added horse manure, homemade bone meal from fish bones, compost from vegetable scraps and black soldier fly frass. I do not use chemicals on any of my grows.

This week was the beginning of my L.S.T. and some defoliating in order to open up the canopy and allowing more light to and Air flow. About two more weeks and we will be flipping into flower can't wait.

Así que justo hoy comenzamos a contabilizar las semanas para ver de cuantas semanas son de floración. Hoy hice una desfoliación. El riego intercalado entre los dos bases que uso, foliar 3 veces por día de cannaboost, hoy inoculando trichodermas, y mañana el riego con el mismo ec que he venido regando, ya que desfoliamos, y esa subida de EC que siempre aconsejan las tablas de cultivo, no será necesaria, ya que la energía producida se distribuirá entre menos hojas, y lo restante se va al desarrollo de las flores. Solo usaré el feeding grow dos veces mas, una mañana y otra para la siguiente desfolación. Eso ha sido esta semana de encierro, la ventaja dedicarle tiempo a esto y obviamente compartir con la familia. Se les quiere a todos, que mi Señor Jesucristo bendiga sus cultivos y sus vidas.
