This week was all about training for The Tropical Ice Cream One. After having great success with a second SCROG net on our Permanent Marker, we decided to use the same approach for this grow. We picked up a new SCROG system at Mary Jane, and this week it finally got its first real job.
Setting up the net was the easy part. The real work started afterwards. Branch by branch, we carefully tucked every shoot into the second net and repositioned it. Our goal was to create an even canopy so every future bud site receives as much light as possible and can develop to its full potential.
It took several hours of patience, but the result was definitely worth the effort. The height difference across the entire canopy is currently only 2 centimeters. That is exactly what we aim for when building an even SCROG canopy.
Now it is time to keep our hands off and let her do the rest. She handled the training exceptionally well and can now settle into her new shape over the next few days. We are excited to see how the second SCROG net will influence flower development and yield during the coming weeks.
After all the stress from the training session, she was rewarded with an extra serving of Bio Heaven and Acti Vera as a little treat. 😁

Diese Woche stand bei der The Tropical Ice Cream One ganz im Zeichen des Trainings. Nachdem wir mit der Permanent Marker sehr gute Erfahrungen mit einem zweiten SCROG Netz gemacht haben, wollten wir dieses Konzept auch bei dieser Pflanze umsetzen. Auf der Mary Jane haben wir uns dafür ein neues SCROG System gegönnt, das nun endlich zum Einsatz kam.Der Aufbau war schnell erledigt, die eigentliche Arbeit begann aber erst danach. Trieb für Trieb wurde vorsichtig in das zweite Netz eingefädelt und neu ausgerichtet. Ziel war es, eine möglichst gleichmäßige Verteilung der zukünftigen Blüten zu erreichen, damit jede ausreichend Licht bekommt und sich optimal entwickeln kann.Das hat einige Stunden Geduld gekostet, aber das Ergebnis spricht für sich. Der Höhenunterschied über die gesamte Zeltfläche beträgt aktuell gerade einmal zwei Zentimeter. Genau so stellen wir uns ein gleichmäßig trainiertes Blütendach vor.
Jetzt heißt es erstmal Finger weg und wachsen lassen. Die Pflanze hat das Training hervorragend mitgemacht und darf sich in den nächsten Tagen in ihrer neuen Form entfalten. Wir sind gespannt, wie sich das zusätzliche SCROG Netz in den kommenden Blütewochen auf Ertrag und Blütenentwicklung auswirken wird.
Nach dem Stress des Trainings hat sie eine extra Portion Bio Heaven und Activera als kleines "Leckerlie" bekommen. 😁

The ICE is almost done; the NL doesn’t even seem close. Interesting since ICE sprouted a day later than the NL.

So like I said. I don't follow directions to the T. Some said wait until 3 sets of true leaves come out to transplant, but I went ahead and just moved Ting 2 from plastic cup into 2 gallon cloth pot, using Fox Farm Ocean Forest. There's some leftover coco that I had from P4Ps blend that she is nestled in.
I noticed her growth slowed down just a tad compared to Ting 1, but Ting 2 is still showing healthy growth with a great color and additional leaves still coming in. Remember, Ting 2 was sown directly into the medium without paper towel since OG Ting 2 went down the drain on accident. So I'm not concerned that she's just a bit smaller than Ting 2.
They sit on the windowsill where they can get some tropical sun, but I do use supplemental lighting from a $35 4 head, 200 watt, LED grow light from Amazon. No high dollar lights over here. I'm just starting out and want to harness nature as much as possible for my indoor grow. I keep lights on an 18/6 schedule. I know some people do 24 hours, but IMO, plants need actual darkness to do their biological processes, and reach their full potential.
For watering, I use a spray bottle to mist and keep top soil moist, and I water directly around the seedling.
I'm impressed at how the Pot4Pot plant is quickly growing. For those unfamiliar with Pot4Pot it provides you with everything you need to grow autos. It came with coco, jiffy pellet, soil, diatomaceous stuff, and some growth hormone powder to mix into top soil. I picked the small 1/2 gallon kit. This plant already looks better than the one I tried to grow in December and officially died today. I am VERY curious to see how Pot4Pot grow will compare to some good old Ocean Forest.
Also wanted to note I've placed the pots in front of a window that gets fed tradewinds that have touched lush mountains and ocean spray. Totally romanticized what is just a breezy window, but for real, it's a mountain breeze which could contribute to a great tasting bud.

Well, those in the catalog died or did not germinate well, apart from that, the 6 seeds without breed that we have saved from good buds that came into my hands germinated well. here I share a little of what could be recorded, as you can see there is a bigger one that was the attempt to germinate the cars with an approximate age advantage of 25 days, with that criterion I will comment on this one in particular and the others in your set.
The largest in age also has the largest pot of all of 11 liters approx 3 gallons
The 2nd largest is for having the 2nd largest pot of 7 or 8 liters approx 2 gallons
The remaining 5 are in pots of 3.5 liters or 1 gallon
We also started fighting with the high temperatures due to the weather, which will go down as the months go by in our favor, we turn on lights at night and turn off the lights during the day to compensate, which we will manage just as well as the plants adapt, as will be seen until 3 o'clock 4 week of flowering, which is the one we are currently going through when this diary is being updated

Both phenos coming out nicely, super tight this will be absolutely rocket fuel, super sweet smell.
Reduced RH to 55% and running 1050 ppms starting to rundown from 1250.

All have taken well to nutrients, will probably keep at same ratio throughout flowering. Will also be using 1ml/l of b52 from flower week 3 and then ripen before flush. A few seem to be fattening up before the others but all are doing OK. Will update every 1-2days.

Had a lot going on this week so the plants didnt get any care or maintenance at all other than just checking on the water level a couple times. They need some major defoliation which I wanted to do this week but procrastination is the vibes currently. Will probably get some done next week.... the plants are looking good and most of them are bushing out pretty nice. They dont seem to be stretching as much as they normally do by this time, but they are transitioning to flower. Will probably do a flush and water change soon since they haven't had one in over a month. I'm just anxious to see some frosty buds at this point.

Her grow was super easy, no deficiencies and absolutely loved water all the time. Big stalk with large branches to hold her weight. She really enjoys heavy light and feeding ☀️💉. Recommend for an easy grow💯

This girl is looking Amazing! I am so excited to see what this plant produces. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do with this plant as far as should I defoliate or "lollipop" it? I've never gone this far before in a grow of photoperiod!?

Day 18
Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊
While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant.
Day 24
Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants.
I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days..
I hope they have a quick recovery 🤞🏻
Day 27
LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches.
Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. 🙌🏻
In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress.

❤️🌱💡😽💨Week 9 is here!! We reduced light hours from 20h to 18h..I know being this far in flower it sounds idiotic but we're trying to give them more down time to recover because we (well I did lol) burned the ever living crap out of a few of the babies at 18 inches, lesson learned..the SP-3000 is no joke, it's very intense.. we raised the light to 22" as well.. using autoflowers to dial in wasn't one of my brighter ideas but live and learn lol..besides, we have some killer photoperiod strains immediately on deck and this yield is still looking pretty good considering.. everyone is getting a (very) little bit of P,K and cal-mag with every watering..we're also adding a few ml of grow too.. all new growth has a great color...thanks for reading if you chose to do so and happy harvests everyone! ❤️

Color looks great on all new growth! I'd really like to try this strain again now that we've got distance set..despite the mishaps they still look like they'll give up a pretty good yield but I suspect it could of been bigger if we got that week and a half back ,but I can't be upset, at our row of good sized colas that look and smell fabulous! ❤️😽💨

Bonjour a toutes et à tous bon dimanche à vous.
J ai juste vite mus quelques photos et vidéo pour faire un tour de tante (j ai malheureusement pas trop le temp cette semaine , je me fais opérer mercredi donc si tous ce passe bien ) je vous mettrez dès photos dès plantes en dehors de la tante histoire que vous voyez les différences entre les différentes souches..voilà voilà à très bientôt (enfin j espère;)

So I had a little burn from overfeeding but it has since corrected itself and am only using water ph to 6.6.
