Sejnik After 24 hours in a glass of water, all the seeds cracked and could be moved to pots. The soil composition is currently 1/3 Florganics soil from the previous grow and 2/3 coco+perlite. Once they get bigger, I will start growing them using Bio tabs and their instructions, where you just need to add water and occasionally some of their products without measuring pH and EC. In my case, I will be watering using Blumat drip irrigation.

Sejnik The girls got a topping. I left each with 4 nodes. One (Florganics substrate) will be trained using Main-line. I'm watering them all with tap water that has been left to sit, without adjusting the pH.

Sejnik It took them a while to recover from the topping (3-5 days), but now they are all growing beautifully. I did a second topping on one and it now has 4 tops; I plan to have up to 8 tops but still keep the plant compact just to fill the space. When I was taking photos, I was a bit high and thought it would be funny to take them like this to show the development of the side branches. All the plants are healthy and have lush side growth. I think this will be the ideal strain for my SCROG. Every day they get 200ml of standing tap water without pH adjustment.

Sejnik I let them grow for a week without my interference, then I did some LST and removed everything that would never get light (lollipoping). The Blumat irrigation works as it should and the plants love it. I'll wait a few days after training for them to recover a bit and then I'll change the light cycle to 12/12. I'm a bit worried about how I'll handle the stretching phase. It looks like 3 different phenos and I'm not sure how I'll manage to weave them into the net since each one is growing its own way 😅. In 3 weeks, we'll see how it turned out.

Sejnik 3 days after the last training (53 days from germination), I changed the light cycle to 12/12. I set the SCROG net to its final height, and now I just have to wait for the girls to grow 😍 hopefully, I can create an even canopy. The Blumat watering system works great, and the plants are very happy with it. I've noticed springtails multiplying in the substrate. I take this as good news indicating enough organic material for them to feed on. But still, I will keep an eye on their numbers and reduce them with a substrate spray using neem oil (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water + 3 drops of dish soap) whenever their numbers seem too high.

Sejnik The girls have grown a lot over the last week and filled the entire SCROG net. Training is now complete. They are healthy. Very healthy. The bio tabs fertilizer did a great job here.. I'm very curious to see what the bio tabs can do during flowering.

Sejnik At the beginning of week 3 of flowering, I made them tea according to the instructions from Bio Tabs, and each plant received 0.5L of this tea that I "brewed" for 26 hours. At the end of week 3 of flowering, I performed defoliation and played around a bit with the branch placement. All the plants are lush, and you can see they are thriving. Using the Blumat drip irrigation, they drink about 1.2L of water daily.

Sejnik The girls got tea again. This time I brewed it for 36 hours. The buds seem a bit small considering they finished the 4th week of flowering, but hopefully they'll surprise me 🙂 I have faith in them. 🙏🙏 A very pleasant scent of sweet lemon is starting to appear 🤤 The Blumat irrigation is working as it should. Springtails are happily hopping around in the substrate, and the plants show no signs of stress, so I have no reason to harm them 😉

Sejnik The girls got tea from biotabs again. I brewed it for 34 hours and poured 500ml of this potion for each plant. The girls' aroma continues to develop nicely and the flowers are slowly gaining volume 🙂 I'm curious how this will turn out.

Sejnik Last week I didn't manage to do my weekly update before I left. But that's okay because the difference over the last 2 weeks isn't that big. At the beginning of week 14, they got their last tea from bio tabs. Now I'm just waiting for the harvest 🙂 I might take off the big leaves to help them ripen better (I'm still deciding).

Sejnik Today I was at the hairdresser with them and removed a large number of fan leaves to let light reach the lower buds. At the same time, I wanted to support airflow because I found gray mold in one of the top buds. I see a harvest happening next weekend 🙂

Good luck! Do you know what pH the water in your tap has? I heard that you still may need to lower the ph if it is pretty high like 8 and above.
Sejnik
Sejnik commented2y ago
@CannabisKlaus, the pH is around 7.8. However, the soil microorganisms that the bio tabs are based on don't care about pH at all. This is new to me, and I trust the bio tabs. Time will tell 😊
Mia_BIOTABS
Mia_BIOTABS commented2y ago
@CannabisKlaus, hi Claus, normally you dont have to care about ph if you grow in soil, because soil buffers very well. only if plants look bad you may check ph. iam growing now for a long time and only in my beginnings i was measuring ph, and i totally messed my grow up, because i tried to balance out the ph..... so long story shirt- forget about ph if you grow in soil.. greetings

@@Hortibro, hey 🙂 thanks for the response. In week 11, you can see that I have 1x blumat maxi in each pot. I use the water that comes from my tap at home. I don't treat the water, I just let it sit for 24 hours to let the chlorine evaporate. Ec 0.38 ph 7.8
