FBT2402 had a rough life. She had mites the whole grow. She was already flowering when I figured it out. So I could not treat the flower then. She has a strong piney, citrus, and sweet smell. It looks like it will be a few ounces once it is all done. So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

Начал применять LST технику на 19 дне и продалжаю применять её через день, а 18 августа добавил ДЕФОЛИЗАЦИЮ С 20.08 ДЕФОЛИЗАЦИЮ делаю каждые 3,4 дня С 20.08 LST технику делаю каждые 4.6 дней На сегодняшний день влажность 54% 5.09.2023 заметил высокий Ph 7.9 С 48 дня Ph не ниже 5.8 На сегодняшний день Ph 6.0 Начал кормить с 60 дня Canna Terra Vega PPM 550 Погладитель влажности хорошо справляется со своей задачей. I won't say it was a perfect growing experience, because i kept running into problems with keeping the lights a good distance away, but that was the most difficult problem I faced. It was definitely a very successful do-over. Both of these plants easily were 2 times the size (width/height) of my 1st sour stomper attempt, they yielded at least double and in Plant A's case...triple. And all by the few simple changes of using LEDs earlier in the grow, larger pots, being in a tent and having one tiny duct fan. My nutrient regimen stayed pretty low and for the most part the same as previous grow. However in my opinion one of the most crucial differences was having them in the 3 gallon pots. They didn't dry out as quickly and they were able to be soaked more effectively than the 1 gallon smart pot had been. For me this was a very important grow on grow diaries as this was basically Part 2 of my first indoor, man made grow. Learning these minimal differences in how to have plants turn out enormously better was essential to any future indoor grows I might do, even though I'm sure i just skimmed the surface on potential problems that could occur and how to fix them. The buds from this grow were not only dense enough to be worth smoking, but every piece of the plant including its leaves will be useful for pressing. The couple presses i did on this plant so far had a beautiful golden color, an amazing smell, and had zero plant byproducts inside it from using the 90 micron bags. The only downfall with the micron bags and the pucks are they retain a fair amount of the pressed rosin, the only solutions I can think of would be to add them to an edibles mixture or to stack them all up and continue repressing. All in all this was a fantastic grow, and I'm very grateful for all the support and for mephisto for making such a solid strain.

8/31 I harvested Auto Opium today. This is 7-10 days early. I intended to grow her inside the tent, but when she stretched quickly i had to take her outside. This did not give her time to harden off before going fully into flower. Then my area went into extreme heat over 110 for extended weeks. High heat and humidity. She couldn't handle this. Then Hurricane Debby whipped her back and bent her main stem in several places. Repaired with chopsticks and electrical tape. Her limbs were thin and spindly, I tried to support with garden hoops but many stems just bent regardless. One bent and cut off its water & nutrients and died. All in all Auto Opium did not transition well from tent to outside. If I had understood her structure before her grow was underway, I would have done some topping or mainlining. I'm watching several growers demonstrate training techniques that I will try. You know you you are. Many thanks to you. We had some cooler nights in the last week or so which allowed leaf color changes from lime green💚 to purples💜 and some reds. I see some lavender in her buds. Trichomes are mostly milky white, so a bit early. Harvest shows, many long, hollow stems which couldn't support her own weight. To be eco-friendly, you could use these for beverage straws 😅. Wenn der Name hält was er verspricht, ist das genau das richtige für eine Naschkatze wie mich. Für den Grow wird ein 20 Liter ROOTiES Stofftopf verwendet. Und die Bio Hanferde von Sonnenerde wird verwendet mit der Bio Faser zum Mulchen. Die Bio Hanferde habe ich noch mit Monster Bud Mix für Living Soil von BIONOVA und Zamnesia angereichert. I cut another part of the girls, and the total is even greater than the first part! We wait another week for the final sums, but right now the flavor is unique.

Today is 11/7/18. Watered GDP #1 and bagseed #1 today with nutes....... I am going to post these pics as a reminder for myself and as a leraning tool for anyone that like visuals. I am learning that these babies can be thirst buckets...I was making sure I don't do the newbie mistake of over watering...well, underwateringcan be just as bad. I been watering apprx. every 2 days...but this is what happens when I don't ...they end up frowning and hugging the pots. But I was informed, the smaller the pot, the more frequent I will have to water. They are in 1 gallon pots...The roots are not visible through drain holes; therefore, I haven't transplanted into 2/3 gallons. Today is 11/8/18, I decided I will be transplanting GDP #1 and Bagseed #1 into 2 gallon pots. They did fully recover from dehydration. GDP#2 will remain in the 1 gallon pot for a lil while unless roots start appearing through drain holes. This plant has been tempermental from day 1. I don't understand why one side of the plant responds well to any training I have done (lst, manifold, topping, etc): howerever, the other side seems to have problems and take awhile to recover. It was suggested to throw it away long ago....I am a new grower and I felt I should keep it as a plant I can LEARN from, which I have learned a great deal. Today is 11/9/18. watered thoroughly because I didnt when I transplanted. Defoliated Bagseed #2. Today was photo day. Today is 11/11/18, I did a moderate defoliation. Today is 11/12/18, watered w/nutes only. Today is 11/14/18, watered with cal-mag only. Today will water with nutes and after tonights lights end their 18 hour light cycle, 12/12 will begin.

This week I did a final bit of defoliation just to channel the energy to the buds. I upped the EC to 2.1. I got a well priced pkm boost powder from my local hydro shop, wich I added to get the EC levels a bit higher. I will start flushing at the end of this week with a flushing solution. I have also been making use of a dehumidifier to reach optimal RH.

We’re back! 💨 Finally was able to get some picks and do an update on these girls. Pushed them 11 weeks into flowering and we cut them down. Took 4 days for me to trim it all! She’s drying in my rack now so I will update the harvest info shortly. I pulled 1 of these already about a month ago that I was growing alongside my peyote cookies and it was some decent buds, not spectacular at first but after a few weeks cutting its coming along better. Ended up with about 11 oz off that one girl and we cut her at the 9 week flowering mark and she had about 2 weeks less veg time as well. So we pushed these 2 girls to the extreme the other way(partially because I just didn’t have the time to cut them…lol) and hopefully we will get some more intense highs from it. I kinda just let these girls do their own thing and really only bent them down over my screen once and tucked a little to fill the screen but other then that she was just blowing up all over and I had a hard time actually containing these 2 girls In my 4’x8’ tent. We also got a good heat wave again that pushed my temps way up in the 10th week of flowering and these girls grew closer to my light then I wanted or could keep from happening. Lol so we got some major foxtails in the center of my tent but we still ended up with some huge buds. Cheers 💨

Hi Growers. Day 21 Flower So this week I decided to defoliate as they are super leafy. I took that pile from each plant. I also took off any branches that I thought would be under the trellis. It’s being pushed up so it’s hard to tell. They are pretty happy regardless. The leaves I left are already quite big after 3 days. I did 2 hydrogen peroxide flushes around the defoliation to combat any possible pests and nutes weren’t gonna help in a slightly stressed state and they won’t hate some extra oxygen to the roots. I let them dry for 3 days and fed today. The Vipar Spectra XS2000 is growing these plants nicely, heating the tent a prefect amount. It’s so powerful in my 2x4, I’d love to see it in a 3x3. They’re happy with it up at 22-24” until I know they’ve stopped stretching. Pretty easy week. Just trying to keep them happy and growing big. Happy Growing 🌱

Week 11 for Moby Dick by fastbuds She's also starting to fill out quite nicely wayyyy too leafy for my liking. Also caught a little caterpillar munching on a bud today glad i found her before she gives me bud rot 😂 Quite surprising how little water these girls drink... still only got fed once this week with a bit of (WCA) Water Soluble Calcium & (FFJ) Fermented fruit juice for its last few weeks of life now. Got a few yellow leaves after feeding the WCA wonder if its related...

Day 71, 29th of November 2021: Here we gonthe first day of the week 5th of flowering! Nice group like the different "personalities" and "styles". Hopefully not much left I guess 3 weeks and we will be very close to the end :) Let's go then Happy Growing Guys! The only changes I made is the ventilation and the extraction fan is off at the same time with the lamp so only switches on when the lamp does. So this is the set up and and operation schedule now: ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: As I mentioned it is off when the lamp is off so 12 hours. When the lamp is on it switches on in every hour and off for one hour. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it takes a rest with the lap together lol ;) Watering pretty much remains the same. Humidity quite is approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.
