It's been a big week for these girls and I have a LOT of photos as well as a video. It's a lot to rearrange because I should have uploaded them in better order. Maybe I'll fix it later, but for now most of the content from 8/5 is before 8/1 On 8/1 I purchased some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a local mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled them around the base of each plant. My main reasoning was because of the Night Nurse that's been having some problems, but in the end I think all the plants will benefit from the added mycelium, especially during this flowering phase. The mycelium will spread through the root network allowing a greater uptake of nutrients in trade for sugars, which I'm supplementing in the form of molasses. I also defoliated the fan leaves on 8/5 since we're only a couple weeks from harvest. I think it was a good sign that those leaves were strong and weren't easy to come off. We got a lot of rain that day!

This first week in flower was a bit more exciting than previous weeks. I decided to put in a scrog net to help spread and even out the canopy. So naturally, I 3D-printed one. (Yes, I can be that nerdy.) Besides, it was the quickest and easiest solution as I don't like the stretchy-net kind so need a frame. Much easier to download a file and press print :D Installing it was a breeze and I also cleared away most branches and leaves below the screen. The stuff that won't make it above the screen and will just result in a bunch of larf. I'm still seeing chlorosis (which I suspect has to do with her transitioning into flower and stretching), so I gave her a bit of Orgatrex and Bactrex. Fast and SIMPLE patio grow, perfect for an impatient grower. 72 days from seed to harvest. Could have taken some of the branches at 68-70d. Responded well to pinching back growth to encourage branching. Tested yield by leaving one plant natural and pinching back the other. Pinching back produced way more bud and the plant didn’t seem to mind. The smaller plant only produced 8 bud clusters and those were fairly airy, but showed amber hues a little sooner. Maybe she got less light than the bigger plant. They were both LOW on sunlight. The last 3 weeks of the grow were non-stop rain and storms, very little sunlight. So the girls didn’t stack ‘em up like I wanted. Gotta have light to make bud!! Vegetative growth the first 8 weeks was phenomenal. It wasn’t until the rains set in that progress slowed to a crawl. They were a few feet apart and both facing the equator with daylight to dark exposure. The sun itself wouldn’t cooperate though. Both plants were fed and watered the same. Soil was the same etc.... Only used commonly available garden center nutes. Wanted to demonstrate that a person could take the leap with their first patio grow without having to invest in a lot of special grow stuff. You can! but you at least need decent sunlight. I didn’t weigh the fresh harvest very accurately. I took whole stems to hang them by, and my good scale isn’t that big. I used a bathroom scale and weighed myself holding an empty box and the box again with the harvested plant difference was about 3 lbs. Once I trimmed off the fan leaves and cut it off the roots and trunk it was under a pound. I won’t trim them super tight because very little of it will be smoked, most will be used to make infusions, but I’ll remove as much stem as possible. Curing and storing in C-vault with 62% Boveda packs.

This week did not go too well. The plants started being more and more droopy and barely grew, which you can clearly see in the time-lapse. I initially thought they were sitting in coco that was too wet, but drying it out did not help their case. I had already wanted to transplant them at this stage, but didn't have the right pot size available yet due to a late delivery. Then, at day 13 from planting the seeds, I received the pots and immediately went on to transplant them into wet buffered coco in 1 liter pots. They instantly recovered and have been doing great ever since as you can see in the last picture. Starting from the transplant, I have been feeding them with 0.5-0.7 EC water, a bit more than half of that made up of calmag, the rest coco A+B and rhizotonic. One is showing a slight calcium deficiency, weirdly enough. Especially as the coco was buffered in a 1.2 EC calmag solution for several days before use. Will keep an eye on this and might give some extra calcium as a mono nutrient. For now, next week looks promising. This update is a little late, so I can tell you that by next week's update they will look much better.

Comenzamos la floración con estas chicas, estoy muy encantado con ellas la verdad para que les voy a mentira, muy ansioso de empezar a ver sus flores, pretendemos fertilizar solo hasta la semana 5 por ahora. Estamos solo con 1 riego diario estuvimos de 1L ahora lo subimos 2L y lo recibieron muy bien. Algo en particular es que estamos probando cannaboost folear, se lo estamos dando 3 veces por día a la planta hace 10 días y no vamos a parar hasta el día 21 de floración para luego cambiar a dosis radicular, estamos haciendo esto para economizar cannaboost y comparar resultados con su dosis full que ya la eh testeado. A las nenas se les hizo super cropping (en mi instagram pueden ver un tutorial @chocolopeison) hace 7 días a las cuales también le agregamos unos soportes y hoy ya la pasamos a floración recuperadas con una gran defoliación de bajos. Ahora esperaremos día 14 para hacer otra defoliación, super cropping y guiado de malla que pronto estaremos instalando. La iluminación estamos con 540W de qb (2 @heavengrowlight y 1 @meijiu)

Hi everyone I chop her down day 86 and let her dry in 19° temp and RH 65 % I'm going to slow drying for best results 7 to 8 days She is very dense and sticky bud and so heavy too I think she yield over 150g plus but the bud are not 100% purple its mix with light purple and green ass you can see in pic or video but still I'm very very happy and already germinate another purple lemonade 💜 next week I will update smoke reviews and final dry weight 😀
