Veg week two. Everything seems to be ok at this point.

4/30 one of the plants has actually visibly stretched more in the last 48 hrs. Starting to impress me with the pistols. Still way smaller than their projections online but whatever 🤷🏽‍♂️ 5/4 end of the week and I’m pretty okay with their size now 😂 they went through a sizable stretch. I’ll have to get my measuring tape back in the tent because each time I’m adding to this diary, I question whether I’m on the right week or not because they look like dwarfs compared to the end of the week

I cannot talk up wicked genetics enough man,they are strong and stable plants and honestly since the temps have been continuing to drop these suckers have been LOVING IT!!! I am going to start some boston kreme pie S1s very shortly for my indoor grow. I have so many amazing strains from wicked I can't wait for this winter it's going to be insanity 🤯😵😵‍💫😎

Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hey everyone! Week 7 is here (2nd of flower) and here's what happened this week! 😃 - Both of my girls look very different from each other. Many things could've lead to this! - The one that's on the "front" is developing faster, her leaves are darker in color and they look long and thinner (more Sativa in her DNA?). Besides that? Not so much besides this was a very, veeeery hot week compared to previous ones and that one of my girl is no longer showing Magnesium deficiency, which is amazing! I'm really impressed how things are going so next week I'll start adding some extra PK and see how things develop. I want some biiiiig buds! 😍 Anyway, that's all for now. Now she only needs pH-adjusted water until flowering day 60 then the cut comes. She smells so strongly of lemon which makes me look forward to the first test, generally what her taste gives me on the tongue. She is now at the peak of her purple leaves, and her buds have also really grown again. The light green buds are covered with tricomes which are now all milky but not yet sufficiently amber-colored. But there are still 7 days to go so look forward to the next update until then stay high. May all your ladies grow healthy and splendid and provide you with tasty stuff 🍀😋

Hace un día nublado (29 ºC de maxima) y NO es necesario regar Elimino la malla de sombreado de la cara sur, ya que las temperaturas son más suaves después de la canicula Día 88 (27/08) Riego con 500 ml H2O pH 6,5 Empiezan a bajar las temperaturas a 29 ºC de máxima, y se nota en la demanda de agua por parte de las plantas! Banana Guava Auto – Week 5 🌱🍌 Week 5 is underway and Banana Guava has fully settled into flower mode. The stretch is still ongoing, with multiple tops developing evenly across the canopy and plenty of fresh pistils stacking at each site. The plant is showing strong vigor, healthy green foliage, and has responded well to the Plagron feeding schedule so far. Its quite packed in there but still managable, Light intensity has been increased gradually to support flower development, while maintaining a stable environment. A little LST and selective leaf tucking have helped improve light penetration and airflow through the canopy. The structure looks promising, with good spacing between bud sites and plenty of potential for some chunky flowers in the coming weeks. Also installed a new icl light to compensate those lower branches, the ucl i had before didnt cut it ;) this new think grow icl is super awesome

Plants seem to be growing ok, seeing some fade on the leaves. Not sure if this is a bit nutrient deficiency or not. Plants are drying out faster than usual, probably the temperature. Struggling to get it lower anlong with the humidity. May need a dehumidifier and to crank the a/c.

Wow in der Zeit ist sie extrem gros geworden, hat aber wenige Triebe. Ich bin extrem zu Frieden und denke, dass sie nich gut wachsen wird. Durch ihre höre ist sie zwar ein bisschen wackelig, aber ich werde sie bald ganz raus stellen und sie ein bisschen Wind aussetzen 👌🏽👌🏽

Como mencionaba en el 1er video por intensas lluvias y vientos, la planta más grande se ha partido, intente "repararlo" pero será cuestión de días para ver si ha sobrevivido o no. Por las dudas he regado( a pesar de la lluvia) 1ml x litro de agua. La cantidad de la misma fue de 3litros con flora booster.

At the end of week 6 the buds are bulking up and the trichomes are going milky with red hairs pulling in will wait for more amber trichs before harvest which I anticipate around week 8-10.

Hablando mas del cultivo en si, coseche al día 64 de floración, es decir, 9 semanas completas. Saque 307g de cogollos grandes y lindos, y además otros 120g mas de popcorns y manicura fina que irán para hacer extracciones. Por lo que el peso final total es de unos 416g aproximadamente. Para el secado, puse a secar las colas luego de una leve defoliación (solo hojas satelite grandes), en un espacio ventilado, oscuro, a temperatura aproximada 20ºC y humedad 55%. Tardo 10 días en secarse completamente. Si bien en mi opinion las condiciones optimas son 60%H / 15ºC, no cabian los cogollos en el espacio que tengo preparado para mantener esas condiciones. Para el curado, luego de manicurar los cogollos se pasaron a frascos grandes con termo-higrómetros dentro. Se fueron abriendo en principio 3 veces por día, y a medida que la humedad fue bajando, se fueron abriendo menos, hasta llegar a la humedad deseada, que a mi gusto es 62% de humedad. Siempre se van rotando los frascos para que los cogollos rueden y vayan tomando forma. Espero que les sirva esta review. Saludos!!😘

To be honest overall this strain done good so as the others. Reflecting back on how i started with just a tent and light, and slowly buying the fans and filters whiles the plants were growing. But i did want these plants to grow naturally without topping and Low Stress Training. I regret not removing the lower branches becuase i did get alot of small airy buds down there. But it was all trial and error. All i done was remove some fan leaves when good to do so every now and then. Not on a mad level tho, i did have alot of sugar leaves which i will be making some stuff with! At veg the plants had deficiencies due to out of date Biobizz bottles. But that got sorted with the magic of Algimac and Calmag. Overall Next time I will definitely train the plants and maybe top a few. Final Yield: Plant #1 21.88 Grams Plant #2 33.36 Grams Plant #3 56.06 Grams Which yield exactly 110 grams! Ounces come out very fat with these light buds Not bad for the conditions they were brought up in, and with no training! Thanks for everyone who has followed this diary throught out the journey!
