The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Day 69. She’s is coming along amazing. Got her ph under control she is in her bulking phase the pistols are just now turning amber. She’s beautiful. I’m very pleased with her. Can’t wait to grow the others. Really excited to she her progress.

Phew!!! Not going to lie I’m really glad the week is over. After chopping on Friday, the wet trim race was on. My girlfriend and I were stuck inside until 4am Monday morning getting Blueberry OG trimmed! Sooo grateful for her help though. It was long, but well worth it. Set up an AC Infinity 2x2 with a drying net and my AC unit kept the room at about 17c for most of the time. Friday (yesterday), after a week in the net, the smaller buds were feeling a little crispy so I knew it was time and after checking the other buds and doing some other finishing touches I threw them into some grove bags to cure. Wow! Such a beautiful plant! Literally glazing, shining leaves hunger for light photons. So far really low effort to keep, does not drink much, will stay one more week in this pot before going to her final soil mix. Also I decided not to top her, avoid stress and see her true nature and main cola.

Hey everyone! So this week has been pretty good, no sort of issues really as I've decided to incorporate kelp meal into my next grow. With 4 weeks left of flowering, I feel this won't affect harvest too much considering my last group was showing cal/mag deficiencies before even going into flowering. Anywho, this bad boy is a monster and the buds are getting fat. I brushed up against some sticky leaves and all you can smell are literal blackberries with a skunky pungent smell to it. Exciting :) Buds are getting fat by the day, about toonie sized and getting some vertical growth to them..nice pine cones ;) Smell is incredible in the tent...sweet, skunky berries. Well pretty good week I would say, the only issue is we dint really see the total amount of our stuff but it was still great.

Here we are in week six of flower and not a lot has happen this week other than the usual watering and letting her do her thing. Only trouble this week was updating GoPro had to try a few times. Other than that we got some rain in my home town and collected about 60 gallons that I'm going to use to finish the rest of the grow. Also, got my new AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, Quiet Inline Duct Fan System with Temperature and Humidity Controller, 4-Inch. I was really hoping this two plants would finish before the year ended, however, it looks like they got others plans. See you guys next week.
