week 7 first flowering week when I finally discovered my princess was actually a prince. 12/12 flowermind ferts (6ml + 0.5g) LST + defoliation started seeing some thrips again, but just a few, nothing to worry so, the plant stayed for 4 weeks in the tent, under COB LED 200W.

Día de cosecha y la verdad estoy muy contento con lo que veo, son hermosas estas flores y su fragancia exquisita. La planta tuvo una deficiencia de Cal/Mag, la que se corrigió a tiempo pero de igual manera afectó en su crecimiento y rendimiento, más allá de eso estoy feliz por las flores de calidad que tendré para degustar más adelante.

WEEK 6: LST & Defoliation every 2-3 days. Botanicare pro bloom: increase to 14 ml/gal. Golden Tree: increase to 2 ml/gal. Cal-Mag: kept at 5 ml/gal. Hydroguard: 2 ml/gal. Thirst: 1 gal (nut sol) every 3-4 days. Take this to be Transition Week 1, not officially in flower yet.

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. DAY63 WEEK9 = Impatiently waiting till harvest time 😘 Beautiful to enjoy the plants ripening and finishing 😍😍😍 Congrats to BIOTABS, because their tablest are really superb 🙏 I'm super satisfied 😁😁😁 Wedding Gelato, Triple G, and Cookies Gelato are completely ripe.👍😃 All their buds are rockhard 💪😖 👉 Cookies Gelato have become completely purple with beautiful piled buds and orange pistils, and looks delicious. Smells of berries and 😵 👉 Wedding Gelato has round buds (easy to trim) with mixed colors : gold, brass, brown, yellow, red and green colors with orange pistils 😊 Fine and accessible smell, pleasant and no overbearing 😄 🙏 👉 Triple G will be the hardest to trim, because of her quirky shaped buds. She has big internodes and big buds scattered across her tall sturdy stalks. Beautiful buds, a pleasure for the eyes. Her smell is pungent, sometimes narcotic even. She will get you stoned in no time 😋 👉 Liberty Haze could have another week. But she lacks some nitrogen; watch her leaves turn yellow, and make her taste sooo soft 👻 She hasn't any purple or red colors, only green and yellow. Her buds are leafy, not that firm, but volumineus. She's soo sweet, with hints of lime. 😘 I defoliated the plants in week 3 because I had to treat the plants against spider mites. Because of this, the plants had fewer leaves, the light could penetrate much deeper and now the lower buds are ripen as well 🙏. I will continue to apply this technique in the future. 👍👍👍 These will be the last pictures before harvesting 😍

Am Wochenende haben wir das Netz gespannt. 2/3 der Blütezeit hat sie jetzt ca. hinter sich gebracht. Nach dem ausharren und dem neutralisieren des gekippten Wassers, trat sehr schnell auch ein Mangel sehr vermutlich ,,Schwefel,, am Haupttrieb im obigen Bereich auf. Da wir aber so oder so in der ersten Woche mit erhöhtem Mineralien bedarf (Top- Max) uns befinden, ist dieses nach dieser Situation ein absolut positives Anzeichen, da es bedeutet das sie die Nährstoffe benötigt und somit auch verarbeitet. Auffallend und auch nicht mehr zu ignorieren sind die Thripse. Um diese kümmern sich aber ab Paketeintreffen die neuen Florfliegenlarven. Ansonsten haben wir beim Netzt Spannen noch kleine nachwachsende Stins weggenommen um wirklich alle benötigte Kraft in die Cola´s zu bekommen. Wir Gießen im Moment ca. alle 24 Stunden 4 Liter Nährstofflösung inkl. 0,08 g Co2_ Tablette und 4 ml PK14/15 Wir wünschen allen Growmies viel Erfolg und eine angenehme Woche! Seit dem 16.10.24 wird Sie nur noch 11 Stunden beleuchtet und statt 4 Liter mag sie im moment eher wieder die 3 Liter pro Tag Nährstofflösung.
