Kweekverslag Week 3: Serious Happiness van Serious Seeds Datum: 18 maart 2025 Kweekomgeving: Binnenkweek, LED-verlichting, temperatuur 21°C, luchtvochtigheid 51% Welkom bij ons kweekverslag van week 3, waarin we de voortgang van onze Serious Happiness van Serious Seeds volgen. Deze hybride strain, bekend om zijn gelukkige en opbeurende effecten, maakt het kweken tot een waar genoegen. Groei en ontwikkeling: In de derde week zien we duidelijk dat onze planten goed reageren op de verzorging die ze tot nu toe hebben gekregen. De stelen zijn stevig en de bladeren vertonen een mooie, gezonde groene kleur. Er is een aanzienlijke toename in hoogte, met een gemiddelde groei van 10 cm deze week. We hebben de planten goed afgebroken om de ruimte te geven voor zijtakken, wat de komende weken zal bijdragen aan een vollere plant. Voeding: Deze week hebben we onze voedingsschema's aangepast, met een focus op stikstofrijke meststoffen om de vegetatieve groei te bevorderen. De planten lijken goed te reageren op de voeding; we zien een sterke groei en grote bladeren, wat een teken is van een gezonde fotosynthese. Licht en omgeving: De LED-verlichting is ingesteld op een cyclus van 18 uur licht en 6 uur duisternis. Deze instelling blijft optimaal voor de vegetatieve fase. De ventilatie is consistent, en we zorgen ervoor dat de luchtvochtigheid binnen het ideale bereik blijft – niet te hoog, om schimmelvorming te voorkomen. Kijk vooruit: Met een goede basis in week 3 kijken we vol vertrouwen naar de komende weken. We bereiden ons voor op de overgang naar de bloeifase, wat betekent dat we binnenkort onze lichtcyclus zullen aanpassen en wat veranderingen in voeding zullen aanbrengen. We verwachten dat de planten zich in de volgende weken verder ontwikkelen en hopelijk ons zullen belonen met prachtige toppen. Conclusie: Serious Happiness heeft zijn naam zeker waar gemaakt tot nu toe. Het kweken van deze strain is een fijne ervaring, en we zijn enthousiast om te zien hoe ze zich verder zal ontwikkelen. Esta es mi primer planta que cosechó con éxito, y estoy muy feliz con mi resultado final 😄 obtuve una muy buena cantidad de flores premium con alrededor de 15% de thc (desde mi punto de vista claro 😅) Tuve algunos problemas durante el cultivo, principalmente que deje que se estirara mucho, debi hacerle LST a la punta principal para que no siguiera aumentando la altura y tener más flores del mismo tamaño, las flores más bajas quedaron chicas y les faltó madurar un poco, también tuve problemas de sobrefertilizacion aun a pesar de que seguí las instituciones de los fertilizantes y de sus indicaciones que me dieron los de servicio al cliente, incluso ya teniendo en cuenta eso siempre use la menos de la dosis de la base ya hasta que crecieron más le fui aumentando, igual creo que es muy cierto lo que dicen de que “menos es más” a la próxima empezaré usando muy pocos nutrientes, aparte creo que si hubiera usado unos leds más potentes, las plantas hubieran aprovechado más los nutrientes, pero igual me sirvió de experiencia, pienso cultivar de nuevo esta genética y sacarle más provecho. We have had another very hot week. All my girls are suffering and display some ugly looking leaves. But so far the buds are doing well. This baby is developing an interesting smell that keeps getting stronger.

Welcome growfessors to another episode of growfessor theatre, 4x4 edition! Flush time, just water for LSD, Green Crack and Mandarin dreams!! Do-si-dos gets another week of feed before flush. I'm very impressed with the bud sizes, trichomes and smell of each plant, mandarin dreams is especially ooozing with resin, it's almost like liquid soap touching your skin. 7/6/2021 - Trimmed lower fan leaves as they were being blocked completely, and a few tips were yellowing. - Continuing to lightly bend the upper branches so the lowers can catch up. - Bought some Gaia Green veg + bloom dry fertilizers as I expect I'll be flipping to flower soon. 7/7/2021 - Watered in a little bit of Gaia Green's veg fertilizer. - Foliar fed w/ DIY kelp extract. - Yellowing/browing on a new leaf, can't identify what it is. - Staked down the branches on the upper mains this evening to open her up for more light penetration, she was gettin' real bushy. 7/9/2021 - Trimmed out middle to expose canopy

Setup my new irrigation system. Will test it for my next watering. Plants are thriving in freedom farm soil with the qb 320. No nutes yet. Will give them some next watering. Kind of flushed the plants a bit when I was testing my irrigation. Oops. Day 18 topped the plants and gave the a half dose of GHE nutes

Did a lot of training and defoliation. I will move her into a bigger tent now as shes about to start flowering hopefully by end of next week 😍. Will also be using scrog net and will add Bud Candy along with the other nutrients : PH perfect Micro,Grow, Bloom

Ok so this week, I'm a little concerned at the height and structure. We all know the typical Christmas 🎄 tree shape. Well, I have an inverted, or upside down Christmas tree shape. I'm going to need to stake the base, as its very top heavy, and I'm concerned that it will topple and snap the stalk. Also, I cannot LST the plant as necessary due to the top heavy nature, as well as the extremely thick main stem which will easily snap if I were to train her. The plant is also suffering from light stress. The leaves are folding up, and down. The leaves haven't darkened up either but this may just be the strain. I have lowered the intensity of the lighting a few times, but due to being un-trainable, the plant will keep growing into the light. I'm having a headache trying to figure out what to do with her, so if you have any ideas please let me know in the comments! Anyway here's what I did this week. 14.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients; 💜 2ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.4 PPM: 365 15.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part B 💜 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 746 18.7.25: I top dressed with the following organic dry amendments; As a base for the dry amendments I used: 🧡 Worm Castings - 2 Cups 🧡 Coco - 2 Cups 🧡 Perlite - 1 Cup Dry Amendments: 💚 Ecothrive Life Cycle 1TBS 💚 Ecothrive Bloom 1 TBS 💚 Ecothrive Charge 1TBS 💚 Diatomaceous Earth 1TBS I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with 2ml Ecothrive Trace. Skunk apple runtz both are still short and stockie. They look exactly the same I'm surprised being some random seeds I made. I hope they end up smelling like skunk Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

The buds are really starting to blow out for the last few weeks emitting color. And unbelievable size.
